D. D. P.What a venue!
It's a WMC but the side room is separate though you are welcome in either.
The concert room has a capacity for 300 & there is a large car park for on-site deposit of vehicles.
A large stage is surrounded by seating and huge standing area.
The sound was spot on.
Getting a drink was simple, with a quick and brisque turn over of punters. Prices are quite reasonable £7 for 2 pints (Cider + Guinness)
I am only surprised that local promotions don't hire it for higher profile gigs with the club being situated opposite a Premier Inn and being 5 minutes from Junction 21 exit.
We had a great night.
G. W.It seemed pleasant enough for the short time I was there. For Disabled people like me, the facilities wasn't easy to get to if you were on your own.
This place will be closing down soon...sometime around September.
My son was lucky enough to get one of the last bookings for his wedding reception.
M. W.Following Friday's meeting the club will remain operational until Jan 20 2023 at earliest. This may be reviewed if more people use the club. To which end rooms are available to hire for free. Includes parties-children,birthday,anniversary etc or events.
L. H.Has a huge function room with a large carpark, personable staff and a massive dancefloor and stage. Also has toilets, outdoor seating, a raised balcony area and a mass of seating, as well as great, regular events, such as 'Rock And Roll' every Tuesday from 19:30 'till late.
Great atmosphere and venue for hiring or just visiting.
l. h.Tuesday nights is Rock n Roll disco night, with DJ dancing Dave, just a couple of quid to get in and free jive lessons.Back to the 1950s and you don't need a flux capacitor.
R. H.Visited this place for a Birthday party. Large hall, disco and food with a Bouncy Castle for the kids. Great nite, great prices compared to pubs. They had a singer in the other room. Well worth a look.
