Nice comfortable place. Recently re-decorated with a fresh look. There's a secret enclosed sun trapped garden with plenty of seating. Friendly and helpful staff. A good selection of guest ales, gins and spirits. Food served 12-3 and 6-10 Fridays and Saturdays. Burgers, Hot roast cobs, chips etc. Menu on the tables. As from Sun 6th February 2022, you can get a full roast dinner on a Sunday

Staff were very friendly,service was prompt and Sunday roast was very tasty,I had beef,my wife had the pork and my daughter the chicken,all eaten nothing remained on the plates,on top of that roast vegetables were out of this world,will definitely be back

Love being here. It's like my second home most of the time. Lovely, friendly customers who make you feel welcome and will chat with you all night long. And Matts Chicken and Leek pie yesterday was amazing. Could have eaten it twice over. Almost as good as his burgers 🍔 I don't drink ale personally but there is always a good choice and a wide variety of other drinks to choose from

Staff are always friendly and do not mind if you're not a member. Great selection of ales and other drinks on hand. We loved the beer garden, especially how they had painted the wooden furniture in bright colours.

Absolutely beautiful food. Great chef and amazing hosts who are willing to cator to everyone who walks in the door. Fair prices and tasty beer exactly what you want from a pub. They make an effort to make everybody feel comfortable during Covid times also with shielding on the bar and sanitizer by tables

Had a works night out there. Good skittles night, a lovely pint served and tasty food. Good value for money.

Had a great birthday party the barman was awesome and friendly would recommend the room its a great place to host a party only negative no tables upstairs and no help with getting the tables upstairs that was a problem but we sorted it
