Y.I absolutely love this place, and it really is an absolute godsend, but I bought some pizza express pizzas Friday for a Treat them ones were fine then we bought some of the same ones saturday that were reduced to a pound and we've all ended up really ill it was the pollo and margarita ones just letting yous know incase anyone comes down sick.

A. C.Staff are friendly, helpful and the variety of products gets better every week. Prices on the majority of products is very reasonable for example I bought an iPhone charging cable £1.25 they have a cafe upstairs which is really cheap and Fridays you can eat in the cafe for free. They also have activities on in the school holidays for the kids like cooking and football and sometimes they organise days out. The criteria to join the community shop is only one person per household can join and you need to be claiming benefit.

G. S.Absolutely amazing asset to the community of kirkdale. The shop offers discounted groceries to its members and all the staff bar one are polite funny open and super friendly. Enriching and fun activities are offered here to in the open bright and spacious 2nd floor such as magic shows for the children who were delighted, pumpkin carving, cooking lessons, knitting mornings and more. The excellent chef upstairs in the cafe is ready steady cooking with the fresh produce from the shop downstairs and is charismatic and cooks absolutely delicious healthy and filling food at extremely extremely low prices. The kids also love the play area and toys available whilst their visiting the cafe. All the staff are upbeat and willing to go out of their way to help you in any way where possible. Great access for mobility scooter wheel chairs and prams, there are wheeled baskets available too which is super helpful as you always come out with more than you expected for a lot less that what you thought too 😄
