This fishery is outstanding, I have fished here since it opened many years ago it is like a good wine gets better with age ☘️⚓🎣

Excellent Fishery well run by Andy and Helen always on hand to give you advice whether it be on the bank or from the hut where they will do you a fry up for you to sit at one of the tables in there or if you prefer bring food to your peg where your fishing. Talking of fishing - it doesn't come much better - three lakes absolutely stuffed with fish, the large original mescar lake is now a pleasure lake with all species including 20lb + carp, mistral lake is the match Lake with weights going up to and over 200lb, and the newly opened marlin lake with carp to 5lb+ everywhere. If you run out of bait you need not worry- a good selection of pellets and other baits are sold from the cabin including terminal tackle etc, give it a go - you won't be disappointed!

Visited on Saturday for the first time spot on facilities and clean and tidy lakes and well kept areas round the lake onsite toilet which is a bonus going back in the morning for another days relaxing and fishing

Yes a well run fishery by Andy Jay and of coarse Lyne lol soz Helen was there yesterday where the fish were spawning but still had a good days fishing and plenty of sun Dave was there too trimming the bushes a well run fishery well done to all

This is a members only venue though the owner runs opens on Sundays and Wednesdays. These are well run and well worth a shot but, be warned, they are very competitive. There is a nice and affordable cafe on site. TIP: Google maps takes you to a service road with no access to the fishery. Look for Green's Lane for the fishery access road

I turned up thinking this was a day ticket venue but unfortunately it is a members only water. The young gentleman was very polite and curtious and asked me was I member, he explained clearly about the membership, I packed up my fishing equipment apologised for my error. By the way I was very impressed by the set out , very clean and great looking water once again I thank the young man for being understanding and your members have a absolute gem of a fysherie.

Been first time today 25th June, honestly say what a great place, clean toilets, plenty of parking. Only caught 10 but what a 10. My biggest fish X 2, .12lb monsters. Rather have quality over quantity. Will be back soon.

Had a great day fishing here , fishery is brilliant owner very helpful. Enjoy my fishing here a good variety of specimens from carp bream, f1, roach, Rudd, ghost carp, koi carp, and they feed on all baits. A very good fishery.

Good place to get a bend in the rod.. Never had anything over 12lb but on its day its hard to blank.. I've had my best days fishing on the top But as of the 1st of May you can't fish off the top & his 3rd lake also opens on the 1st May.. All in all good places also has a cafe

Lovely fishery, been going there as long as I can remember, due to idiots abusing fishery floating baits, bread now banned. But can catch all day on bottom. Lovely food in cabin, toilet on site, plenty of parking. enjoy and respect owners and lakes.

A really good well run fishery.the owners are keen to help newcomers. Can't fault the place and go when I can.clean.loads of parking.no idiots. Fished for 5 hours today and my arms were aching.if you don't catch you're doing it wrong.

One of the best in Merseyside.. Andy and his wife and son are very helpful .. always catch I've fished this place in minus conditions and still caught a few carp .. Not the biggest of stamp of fish but if you want to bring out fish every 10 or 15 mins up to the low doubles this is the place for you .. good Scran too

Amazing place, owners are very nice, lovely breakfasts on a weekend. Go here with my girlfriend and work mates and honestly must say it’s one of the best lakes in the north west. If you don’t catch here you’re doing it wrong.

I arrived at 6 straight after work I was just settling in, and the bailiff told me I had to pack up. It was only 8.15 I was gutted. I caught 2 common s about 3 or 4 lb, so I was OK with that. I haven't fish for 2 years so it might have just give me a little nudge to get me arse into gear and get out and about and get me tackle out all day and night haha
