J. V.Lovely venue, very very hidden but once you find it it’s such a surprise. The roast was one of the best I have ever eaten.
J. C.Arrived on 21/11/21. Tram Shop staff were courteous and pointed us in the right direction, Clapton Country Club staff were too busy and important with their silly littly excel printouts to be polite but did point us to their Department of Life. This was a tranquil retreat from the main canteen, which was raucous and streamy.
Once arrived at the DoL everyone was lovely, staff were great, excellent food and atmosphere though a touchy pricey.
H. P.Attended an evening function here and found the staff service very friendly and efficient. The food was good too: overall an excellent evening. However finding the entrance was a challenge as the SatNav (and postcode) took us to the back of the building. So please note access is from the main road.
J. C.Really lovely venue and friendly staff + management. Sunday roast is very tasty (a little bit more expensive than most pubs). Nice jazz music on Sundays. The room is very cold though, think they need to sort better heating!
