Great gym!!💪 I've been going there for a while and I have had a good experience so far. Staff is polite and respectful.
Most of the time it's not that busy which makes it easy to find machines to train. 🏋️

Have used the Studio 1 for badminton. Nice spacious and clean court. You need your own equipment though (but that is standard). One could say that the hour rate is a bit pricy but given its in the heart of London, it makes sense. Access and moving around is easy. Booking system is straightforward too

If you like quiet off the walk gyms, this is the place for you, the lunch crowd is generally quiet with enough space for all.
If this place gets busy, well you will be waiting around to use the equipment.
As people have mentioned the equipment is old and the place is run down but there has been an attempt to upgrade certain pieces of equipment.
In the centre of london off of the southbank right next to offices, There is enough space and equipment to get a full workout and if your like me a perfect place .

I was a member before the pandemic and have since moved away, so my review my be out of date, but I really loved the place - definitely a hidden gem. Its amazing value. A good range of solid equipment - even has punch bags and resistance bands which is great! There is a good functional area in the middle of the gym, and a more private area with matts for stretching. It was never that busy and I could always use whatever I needed. The gym area is a good size with a high ceiling and decent natural light (rare for Central London!). Staff were friendly and memberships were flexible (stopped charging as soon as lockdown began). It has a nice community feel, and its run by a social enterprise - so I knew my (small) membership fee was supporting something worthwhile. Its the sort of place where there is no pressure to look glamourous, which makes me feel much less self-conscious! The changing rooms were basic but functional. Only downsides were: (1) the lockers cost 20p, (2) shower pressure wasn't great, and (3) changing rooms could be cold in winter (its a fairly old building).
I wanted to make sure I gave this place the recognition it deserves - maybe the owners can comment to flag if any of the above has changed since March 2020

Really happy with this place. It's perfect price for someone living in the area and has everything I need. Could be more up-to-date equipment but it works fine with is what matters to me. It's nice that it's local people and it's not a puregym type place where everyone can go too.

I only go to this place for weekly dance lessons. The place is pretty big.
It has a gym, which is pretty huge and has several squat racks and other equipment.
There are meeting or conference rooms.
Also dance or yoga studios.
Plus changing rooms with showers for both men and women.
Over all, lost of the stuff looks alright. It isn't well maintained. would benefit from some upgrade. Still pretty good for geoup lessons.

I have only ever used it for classes but I have tried several of those and it is brilliant. The instructors are very good; they care to find out about your level of fitness, injuries, help to ensure exercises are done properly, tailor exercises to suit the various levels of people in the classes, even remember your name... just brilliant! In addition the classes are small, you always get a space and the staff and people are really friendly. The location is of course also ideal and the price half what a gym in that area would charge!

As a gym goes it's functional and does what it says on the tin. The staff are friendly and there is a decent amount of kit to use from the stationary bikes to the treadmills and cross trainers. Plenty free weights to go around as well.
It's also great value!

Decent gym for the price. Relatively old building and older machines. Nice friendly staff and have tv's (no sound but subtitles). Music select is hit and miss with lots of jumping between songs. Overall good value.
