ECIL provides a fantastic service I have sought their advice on many issues and they have always been friendly, helpful, kind and the advice has been excellent. I can't recommend them highly enough. Everything is on the phone now and the service is still great however I do miss their monthly Soirees with music, hopefully these will resume after Covid 19.

A vital lifeline for those with disabilities who strive to lead independent lives.
The centre provides much-needed advice and support and hosts a wide range of social, cultural and educational activities.
ECIL is also one of the few providers of help in dealing with the complexities of PIP (the Personal Independence Programme).
It has a hall which is kitted out with digital projection and internet facilities for presenting videos, presentations or streaming online movies.
ECIL offers this space for hire, complete with kitchen facilities, to local charities for a reasonable fee.
See their website for details of events and the groups that meet here regularly.
The centre has an entire wall filled with brochures about local support services and other relevant subjects of interest.
Well worth a visit if you are a local carer or have a disability.
