The staff have no real idea of what they are doing but my stay has even pleasant enough having been able to come abd go as I please to go swimming, socialising or going back to my own home for a cooked dinner. The perfect respite care that other people should appreciate as you never know when you might suffer hardship abuse or mental health ussues. Long may it be funded and Comtinue the good work.

I have volunteered to work in this beautiful store recently and I most say,,, I had so much fun. Not only working with amazing people dedicated to helping others for such an incredible cause but the store it’s self is friendly, welcoming and literally the trendiest charity shop I have ever seen with unbelievable products.
There’s two particular people who I can’t even express how infectious they are, Susan and James.
Susan is full of energy, just a gorgeous human inside and out, and amazing with all customers and you can tell she adores what she does.
James is the new manager who is so dedicated, caring and inspiring. I can’t express enough how great these two are. If I could score higher then a 5 star rating I would. Everyone must visit this charity shop or volunteer,,, it’s an incredible place.

I was at my whites end. Not knowing where to turn and if they would be able to help me in my hour of need. Following 2 cancer scares. 3 chronic life changing illnesses redundancy, homelessness and divorce. I had a mental breakdown. The team at Highbury Grove were supportive without being judgemental. I ended up staying for four weeks. When they usually limit stays to 2 weeks. So I celibrated Christmas and New Year with the other residents and staff.

A quite and averagely neat place but tedious climbing the stairs. Hope it is homely

That really helped me. Lovely relaxing place. Gave me time and space to help me come back from a breakdown. It was a start. A good start. Thank you.
