I was looking forward to visiting the Arts Club. The restaurant on the ground floor was quite busy. There was a little bit of an anarchic movement with the waiters coming and going. The service was slow. The waiters did not speak very good English (!). I asked for my meat medium well, it came rare. The quality of the food was 3.8 out of 5. I visited the other floors. They were nice. But I cannot say I was impressed overall. Lulu's in my view is better.

Very nice place, very upscale and you feel special when you go there. Great food and atmosphere. Recently the attention from staff and their professionalism has noticeably got worse. Will be visiting again soon to update. Update: service back to decent standards, bumping up to 4 stars (still feel it can be improved and more personal, with greater attention to detail). Mistakes are still made occasionally e.g. on orders and/or reservation details. Update 2: after the lockdown the place has improved dramatically. Flawless service and foods tastes better than ever. Overall very very happy!

It was a wonderful experience of a private member's club. We dined and enjoyed our meals with a few guests. Dinner wise, the options were tremendous but the quality was way better than I ever expected. The dessert options were incredible too and a quick shout to the pistachio soufflé that was just perfect. If anyone gets a chance to visit this place it's highly recommended as it's an experience to take.

Went to visit a member. Apparently my all black trainers were inappropriate. Half of the guests were in casual shoes, feels a bit backward to be called out because the brand I like use a tick. Suggest they move forward with the times. Aside from that food was good.

Just wanted to say that I had a fabulous time last afternoon. Thank you for let us seats in your beautiful main dining room... The food and our waitress (Monica) service were excellent. A varied and delicious menu, all beautifully presented in a very pleasant dining room with great ambiance. All of us were very impressed and all said we will definitely be making a return visit. Thank you to the chef and all staff for a most enjoyable evening and birthday song for my friend, Thank you also to Antonio for taking the time out of his schedule to do walk around with us. That was way beyond the call of duty and excellent customer service!!!

I was taken here by a friend who is a member and it is just the most wonderful place. I am often in the area but didn't know it even existed. The entrance is quite discreet and is camouflaged into Dover Street perfectly. Inside, the club is lovely. At least two restaurants, multiple bars and a nightclub in the basement. Staff smiley, helpful, professional and dedicated. Definitely 5 stars, I had a great evening.

Great amazing classy place. The brasserie is fantastic. The food is to die for and so well presented. The service is like no other. These guys have employed the best. The Japanese restaurant is small but wonderful and they do have everything. The bar is lively and full all the time. Prices are reasonable considering they are inDover street. Now the club, wow. They have live bands and the drinks are so good and what a variety. The level of clientele are like no other place in London. So prestigious and so glamorous like out of a top Hollywood movie back in the 50’s yet modern but very very classy. I love this place and would love to go back again and again

If Soho House is a nice business class lounge then the Arts Club is the First Class lounge that’s just out of reach. A little more reserved, a little more subtle. I only enjoyed their delicious breakfast delivered with impeccable service but I imagine that the experience extends very well throughout the day. It was busy but felt calm. From the uniformed doorman to the attentive front desk and staff they work swiftly and purposefully without every interrupting the conversations taking place in the room. Who knows what was being discussed but the people enjoying the space shared a poise that suggests they were all very comfortable with their position in the world and what it has earned them. I was just passing through but I’d be more than happy to go again.

Quietly located but that's why it is private club. You will feel the privacy and exclusivity but not very impressive to the point where you will top end atmosphere or service. It is nice place to have business talk but not for the social or intimate discussion.

The restaurant: a busy lunchtime on a sunny day. The walls hang with fashionable but ugly stuff. The menu is modern European; and for this neighbourhood, is fairly competitively priced. Drinks are over-dear. The service sometimes loses itself, despite or because of what appears to be a disproportionate number of Manager types observing (but not necessarily helping) their rank and file staff. Too many officers. The food itself was well presented and tasty. The company included rich American Dowager Empresses preparing for their whisky tors of The Highlands, and louche biz spivs wearing the West London uniform of blue linen jacket, white shirt and jeans. Mercifully only one pair of red corduroy trews was spotted.

Rarely have I experienced such a delight, the meal was excellent, the service impeccable, the restaurant accommodation first class and the art exhibits commendable. Not many people are artists. You will hear a lot of "swaps" "derivatives" and other financial jargon being thrown about. Charles Dickens used to visit but probably wont be able to afford the membership. Decent experience overall. Friendly staff. Food is okay.

I went here a few weeks back for a friends engagement party, the décor is gorgeous, very elegant dining area. I had a drink called little women followed by baby chicken with a side of carrots and apple tart as dessert - simple and delicious. Then went downstairs to watch the live band, there was this crazy couple dancing away in front of me, really made me chuckle. There is also a bar upstairs but didn't end up going to see. The venue was superb, had a really enjoyable evening. The only downside is getting quizzed from friends about my love life, unfortunately, I am unable to date and never will, but I was happy to see my friends celebrate their engagement, hopefully the start of a long and happy future :)

Great members club, as it's owned by the same people who own Zuma, roka , le petit Maison, coya the food is exceptional. Great place to meet friends and the club also had a great vibe. Prefer coming here than going to Annabel's on the weekends. It's decor is tasteful unlike Annabel's which is sometimes too suffocating. If you get the opportunity to visit Arts club do come.

Attended a truly wonderful wedding here and have had some good evenings. But it's still more style over substance in terms of how social it is for people who may not already know each other. Also for somewhere called an Arts Club it's members are not especially in the arts. The food and drink are excellent here - but on the expensive side. If you want to spend time with artists and those in the arts Chelsea Arts Club or Groucho Club are the places to go; nevertheless the excellent location and congenial atmosphere makea Dover Street Arts Club a perfectly good place to spend some time.

Membership Required - Italian Restaurant below with a great menu, and a Japanese Restaurant above on the second floor. There is a lounge area on the first floor, perfect to sit down with a group of friends or clients.

Unfortunately you are more likely to hear conversations about hedge funds and Chelsea property in the Arts Club, than chatter about art. Talking of property you will also need to take out a mortgage to buy a good dinner here in the very smart bistro, lounge and restaurant - about £100 a head should just about cover it. The recent renovation is very slick but all soul has been drained from the place. A sad decline for such an august and historic institution which is now seems to be simply a posh club for wealthy businessmen and their latest dodgy date. I will sadly let my membership expire after this year....
