Really amazing club. One of the nicest kept grounds I have ever see. You can play cricket, croquet, or any activity you can think of. Very nice place for weddings as well. They have a fencing club that practices outside when the weather is nice.

I was a guest here, as I have been on previous occasions. I've always thought the food was quite poor. I still do. It's not a patch on both RAC club houses. Beautiful grounds and a wonderful location. Staff member came to collect our trays, but avoided the one on which we had deposited our used plates.

I really enjoyed it and so did my friends. The food has certainly improved. I love the seared tuna. May I also comment on all the new serving staff who are so helpful and smiling young people. Quality facilities and food. Obscene number and variety of tennis courts. Good playground for all ages. Reasonably priced food and drink considering the area. Nice indoor and outdoor pools. Medium sized gym, limited free weights area. Loads of cardio stuff and expensive e-gym hydraulic weight system. Expensive gym classes.

" 42 acres of magnificent grounds," that unless you are a member you may never see. As a British Institution "The Hurlingham Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain’s greatest private members’ clubs" they say on their website - To be honest, you and I will perhaps never know because this is only something membership can afford you, and the reality is actually, membership is closed. So, like us, you can only speculate about the wonders that lie within this urban oasis. If you are fortunate enough to get in. Good luck, [F]

I have been visiting this club for years now with friends and family, and it is a great place to relax on a day where there is nothing else for you to do. With lovely food and an spectacular assortment of views , even boasting the likes of having wild peacocks roaming around, adding a lovely mood to the place. It also has a range of sporting activities such as tennis on grass, a swimming pool and crochet. Lovely place, recommend going for a enjoyable, relaxed day.

Just brilliant really. I went on a tour around the gardens. They were just absolutely wonderful and the outside of the buildings looked amazing. I learnt so much about plants and suitable locations etc in such a short time. The head gardener who took us around was so knowledgeable and also very friendly. Sone really interesting fountains, nice statues, great formal planting plus a nice woodland by the river. The lake is impressive as well. I would highly recommend anyone else who has the chance to go on the tour.

Very exclusive club, it was a privilege to be on site. Beautiful lawns and will kept croquet ara. The drawing room and waiting area were immaculate, beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly. It would be a dream to become a member, joining the 100 year waiting list now.

Great venerable club. Tennis facilities are top notch, average age is septuagenarian at best, therefore past their tennis best and waiting to pass on their membership to their not interested grandchildren. It’s a shame really that keen and able young tennis players need to wait for 20 years for a membership.

What a place! A fantastic country like retreat based in the middle of fulham. Masses of tennis courts, pools, squash and way more options of sport. The food is not the highlight although when the BBQ is on that is absolutely delicious. Really transforms London if you are able to go.

Beautiful surroundings. Lovely club though ridiculously exclusive. Vegetarian option was abysmal. And they kept putting a plate of meat in front of me. I wasn't given any vegetarian canapés despite asking several dozen times. I was then told they'd stopped serving them. Left hungry and almost had to walk out the food was so bad.

Members of the Hurlingham club love this private members club, beautiful grounds that host Polo tournaments in the summer, Golf, fitness centre, tennis courts and amazing views of the river. A selection of places to eat and drink, with that relaxed air about the place. This is certainly the place to go when you are not in a rush, take your time and enjoy it.
