Recently, I spoke on the phone with a Twitch representative about the course of action I should take to remove a ban from my account: “Ctoimonfils.” As requested, I’m sending this email to document the words that I shared with the spokesperson over the phone. I talked to the offended party, in order to understand why my words were hurtful, and came to the revelation that I was simply wrong. I have apologized and taken the necessary steps to reconfigure my thought process, and not let anger get the better of me. I’ve also done research to learn the history of my hurtful words, and they’re words that I will never utter again. I’d also like to take this time to apologize to Twitch as a platform, and assure that this mistake is a one time occurrence, that won’t be repeated. I take total accountability, and accept that I’m at fault. If my account “Ctoimonfils” is restored, I pledge to use my platform responsibly, and to be inclusive with every person across every spectrum.
