Amazing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gym that offers a fantastic range of Gi and No-Gi Classes throughout the week. Lots of time on the mats rolling and detailed tutorials from experienced instructors have made it the perfect place to improve my BJJ. The club’s atmosphere is fun and welcoming and there is a real drive to improve and get better that runs through the club, this comes from Steve Henshall whose BJJ knowledge and personality as an instructor is top drawer. I have been a member for 6 Months now and the classes are the highlight of my week. If you are looking for a BJJ Gym in Manchester I recommend you check this place out.

The head coach Ste is a top class bloke and brilliant teacher. You definitely get your money’s worth and see very quick results. The gym has a good vibe, is clean and everyone is super welcoming, from the experienced to the beginners. If you are thinking of starting, just do it as there is 0 awkwardness and no risk of tying. I would highly recommend and have to friends and family who hopefully will join the community.

One of the best BJJ club in Manchester. Very friendly people with great knowledge and everyone is welcomed. Steve is a top bloke with lots of guidance and advice. I travel 40 minute car journey (one way) to train here 4 times a week and well worth it.

I visit Henshall BJJ semi regularly and every time I do they become some of my favourite training sessions. The ethos and style of Steve and the club are very down to earth, straight forward, and effective. Some very good competitors train here and everyone is friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.

I don't always train here, but when I do, it's amazing! I live too far away to train here regularly, but occasionally make the trip on a weekend/during holidays. It's always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with great rolls and a very encouraging and approachable coach. Wish I lived closer!

We are always there, My whole family train, there are so many positives:- - This is a very family friendly gym. - We have the cheapest monthly’s about. - Everybody is welcoming & friendly. - There is a variety of times with the classes & flexibility on times with 1-1’S. - Ste is the main coach & he teaches some of the best jujitsu about, creating many gold medalist within the adults and kids high level competitions. Josh M Great family club with a real spirit. The youth development is amazing, but also caters for the hobbyists and serious practitioners. Myself and 3 children train here after moving from another local club we was made to feel part of the family immediately with family’s from all walks of life. Definitely represents Manchester as we know it. Steven is an amazing coach and high level active competitor. Just brilliant!!
