G. C.When it was m/c. University settlement .. I had my very 1st holiday in 1965 to Doddington Hall Nantwich... It was 2 week. I think . We stayed there with french kids...cost £28.. I sold firewood/paper round /milk round & a bread round .to pay for it .. 1969/70 went to Ireland.. £36 For.2weeks stayed with German kids . 1972. Trained to be a leader with you then Met a girl Bernette Parker at the St Aidens club. off greymare lane . Married her, had 3 daughters/ 5 grandchildren... It was a real. Life changer.. Thank you
R. N.Really good staff provide excellent childcare at a affordable rate. Just ashame the holiday club shut down. Left us in abit of a pickle.
