The Tardis! I envisaged a Phoenix Nights vibe when I arrived, but the venue was big inside, with a warm & welcoming feeling from the Locals. There's a large curved bar area, connected to a large function room, separated by a double sided bar. The drink prices were very reasonable & bar service was rapid. The decor is very neat if a little dated & the venue is very clean. You can tell a lot about a venue by the state of the loos, & the spotless condition continued through to the WC's. It's a decent local night out & the large, purpose built function room would be an excellent choice for family events.

Arrived there at 2039 yesterday only to be told the kitchen closed at 2030. Not what it said on the web. Not impressed although the local Chinese takeaway was impressive

You're definitely in Partington if you're here. If the teenagers cheering you on on your way in don't clue you in, the extensive classic beer offer will, until you look around and the decor rubs it in your face. I love it.

The club is situated close to the centre of Partington, and was total surprise to myself and my colleagues who hadn't visited it before. It's a great venue to enjoy a function of any nature, or as a place to enjoy a fantastic valued drink. It's clean, comfortable and has amenities that all venues like this should have. Free car parking. A function room, served by its own bar which has ample seating, dance/activity floor with an associated stage. There's a snooker/pool room, a cosy vault area and meeting rooms if those needs are required. The prices are extremely good in respect of catering and drinks, with staff who were friendly and very helpful. A definite for future events, and as a casual place to enjoy a comfortable drink in. A true benefit for the community of Partington.

Had my cousins wake here and found the club large and well placed. Very clean in all areas. Well stocked bar.

Cheap beers, live football on, big and spacious, used one area as a general meet was good, staff are helpful. Difficult to enter building as firstly it's kind of hidden away and secondly it's a buzzer service to be entered in which I suppose is safe but also can be slow.

Good facilities for busines conference , catering 1st class, drink'available at very reasonable prices. Only problem is finding the venue if you haven't already visited them before.
