A wonderful place! the back wall resembles Leonardo s Last Supper just replace ale and crisps for the loaves and fishes and hi viz instead of flowing robes. The serving wenches are highly skilled ,remembering every customers personal order so its ready for you as you approach the bar. Entertainment is quite often and varied, with the good "turns' invited back for special occasions such as the annual Leek show now renamed Broth day!. Its held in the concert room which is mainly used for parties these days and can be hired for a nominal amount. Traditional games such as darts snooker and pool are also on offer and of course how could we forget the bowls team made up of the oldest residents of Longbenton one of them is 100 years old and he can still hold his own! All in all a very welcoming establishment with great beer and great conversation and it's so easy to become a member, and while performing handstands fully naked is no longer compulsory it will guarantee you a place on the committee.

First time there long way to come from home but it was fundraiser for Ukraine and The Baldy Holly Band were performing there tonight Just discovered them and enjoy there music so made special trip there to see them live worth every penny I paid in taxi fares to get there and back. lovely venue with lovely people had a great night If you have t been there before just remember no food facilities there so take food with you if staying all night for an event. Thanks to e everyone concerned.

Fantastic Venue room! Very smart. We saw Newcastle Blues Brothers performing. It was a great night! Great selection of drinks on offer. Staff were very welcoming. Thanks again!

Excellent friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Club getting a bit tired now, and showing it's age, but reasonably looked after. Good selection of beers, but have seen cheaper beer in non social club establishments, hence the 4 star rating. Not too bad tho and lots of parking spaces.

Great club for all functions

Went for the MEW wrestling show that is on every couple of months. The show was packed out as always and showcased the local northern wrestling talent. The bar was very busy but well priced and service with a smile despite the queues. Would definitely recommend going to watch this excellent wrestling show.

Nice club and great entertainment. Staff attitude was a bit strange. Think the fella had had a bad day or maybe prefers it when it’s quiet rather than busy wit an event and full of “outsides”. Unfortunately clubs can’t survive on locals propping up the bar.

Usually go just for the wrestling events. Good atmosphere chairs are a bit battered but you don't mind. Only downside has been the air con on a hot day, wowsers it get sweaty in there.

I went here to see a band (Franck Carducci) The first positive thing was it is about 100 steps from Newcastles Metro system, no need to drive. If you take your car there is plenty of free parking. There is a bar which looked nice, the lounge has a proper stage, the building is uber-retro looks late 60' early 70' architecture the seating is new and comfortable and the range of beers is quite good. I think the owner is looking to hold more music nights so I hope to be going back again.
