J. M.I recently booked the Malborough club for a wake following the funeral of my husband. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.We wanted a slide show of photographs on a screen but did not have time to set this up on the day of the funeral however because there was no event prior to my booking, the staff allowed us to set up our screen the evening before. I can not express how grateful I was . The amount of stress that was taken away from my family at this very sad time was immeasurably. The wake was held in a lovely large room which was well decorated and along with everything else was very clean. The bar was cheap, well stocked and the staff were attentive. The buffet provided was exceptional and very generous for a more than reasonable price.I have attended events before at this venue and my experience bears no relation to some of the other reviews. I have no hesitation in recommending this venue.
