This was a wonderful place to take children. Couldn't believe it was free! We left a donation and visited the shop. Very cute animals, lovley garden and play area.
Was easy to find, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The farm is very near to the Nottingham city centre. There are a limited free parking spaces on the farm but there is also street parking nearby. The farm has a variety of animals as well as farm produce such as the cooking apples. The place suitable for all and particularly young children will enjoy seeing these animals. This place is also wheelchair accessible. There is a shop,a cafe, visitors toilets, a hall where birthday parties can be held and also a playing area for children. I would highly recommend this place.

I hate the term hidden gem as it is overused when describing many interesting places, I prefer hidden treasure or better still lucky find and Stonebridge City Farm is a lucky find.
Located just outside the city centre of Nottingham, this little urban farm and petting zoo and gardens is an ideal place to take young children all year round. There is a play area with climbing frames and swings and slides for children to have fun, a creepy crawly corner, a café selling drinks and cakes and a farm shop selling produce grown in the gardens which contain orchard trees and greenhouses and hidden away is the apiary. The honey produced by the bees is sold in the farm shop alongside the wonky looking vegetables and fruits. There is an area for hand washing and this is stressed as a must use area not only because of COVID but because of touching animals.
Over the years I have visited I have seen all sorts of animals come and go including Lucy, one of the cheekiest of goats Ive come across. On one visit she grabbed the bag of food right out of my hand and blew raspberries at me oh, you can by animal feed for 60pence a bag and the kids love to feed the little animals especially the kids and lambs. In addition to the goats and sheep I have seen pair of Kune Kune Pigs, Charlie the Shetland Pony, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs, ponies, chickens of all breeds including some strangely furry looking chickens, ducks, birds, and even a couple of turkeys.
As a registered charity it is funded entirely on donations and grants, its staff are all volunteers and host the educational visits from schools as well as general public visits. The farm has been open since 1980 or a site with residential houses one side and a few industrial units the other. It’s a about 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre and buses run along Carlton Road only a few 100 yards away. Here is a small parking area and much of the farm is accessible to people with disabilities although some of the garden and orchard areas are not level ground and can cause a few stumbles.
There is no admission fee although in my opinion 50 pence per child and £1 per adult would not be too much to charge and would go a long way to running the site.

Whilst perhaps not the best city farm I’ve been to, it is a very nice one. The staff are friendly, the play area of great for the kids and they stock a delicious BBQ sauce in their shop!
They have a few different animals you can feed with lots of information on them too. They recently had a calf born, it bounces around like an giant dog - it’s ridiculously cute!

I visit many times. A wonderful experience a stone's throw from the city centre. A wonderful environment and a great place to educate children.
L. S.
Lovely for kids, free to get in although food for the animals is 75p they also have a little cafe and a gift shop both reasonably priced.
But if your looking for a free afternoon out. Its free to walk around and the have loads of animals, a park and a picnic area
M. o.
Great morning out. Very welcoming and the kids loved feeding the animals and playing on the park whilst me and hubby sat with latte and cake

Been coming here for years and used to love it but feel it's not as good as it used to be. Animals are all together (sheep, cows, goats) so once you've seen them it's literally just the horses and pigs to see. Barn is always closed now too and there's no animal handling either. So if you live local it's OK but if you're visiting from far its kind of a waste of time as kids get bored really quickly.
A. M.
Fantastic place.Every time when I am there I can see a big progress.Re-newal,animals seems to be happy there and kids too 😁
A. “. B.
Good venue, limited animals but all staff friendly and helpful,
With some local support this could be thriving for the community
G. B.
Still some bits closed covid still handled well. Donations keep them going so support if you can. Animals well looked after feeding them is a lovely experience and watching the kids jumping on top of reels and playfighting amazing.
R. S.
Great place, free entry with donations requested as a charity. I didn't feel pressured to have to donate but i paid the recommended donation/entry fee and a little more and it was definitely worth it. Has a fab outside play area for young children Inc a play kitchen area. Was great to be able to feed the animals and my 2 year old loved being able to get up close to some of the animals. There are also some nice garden areas to walk around. Cafe has great cakes and reasonably priced. We parked on road for about £2.20 for day then after our visit walked into Nottingham centre. I would definately visit the farm again.

i would highly recommend to visit this place
Thank you again Stonebridge Farm

I had a great time with my grandson, feeding animals, playing on the park. We even took part in a book hunt they had organised and went home with a book and duck eggs from the shop, would recommend
K. M.
Always a pleasure to visit here, a small city centre farm , play park and cafe which runs as a charity . Free to enter but donations most welcome. Few car parking spaces onside. Staff friendly, some charity users . Wide range of hot and cold food and drinks in cafe at reasonable prices and tasty . Small gift shop . Play park suitable for young children. Large farm animals and small domestic animals to visit and interact with . Animal boarding available for small pets . Great few hours out .
T. B.
Always a good place to visit in dry weather. Kids fed food to animals bought from shop on site. Cafe offers cake, drinks and food which is good quality and well priced. Garden interesting anytime of the year. Playground for little ones. Remember to wash hands after visiting animals. Sink, soap & water provided. Parking on street - charges.
R. V.
Loved this place, farm animals and rides for kids. Little food shop is good as well. Only donations, no fee. Loved it.
d. b.
Great charity space. Enjoyable and friendly. Good prices in cafe and shop. Ideal for entertaining your little ones. Limited free parking only problem. Really good animal space.
T. Z.
Went with my toddler and she loved every minute of it even though they weren’t yet operating at full capacity. Though the farm is small it’s still great for a family day out. Looking forward to taking her back soon for the full experience.
A. I.
A really nice small farm near Nottingham city centre. Free to enter but donations encouraged, really nice friendly staff, play area, benches to grab a coffee and cake from the cafe on site and your regular goats, sheep, chickens, cows and ponies to look at! You can feed the animals too but these days there is no petting rabbits and guinea pigs like before!
N. I.
Nice farm and very children friendly. Our children loved it . The children can also feed the animals with food bought from the farm. They so had a chance to get up and personal with most of the animals.
E. T.
Lovely day with my grandsons visiting santa 🎅. Only downside was the handling of the queue. Few disappointed children when told after queuing for 30 minutes that santa was going for lunch, with no warning. Should have closed the queue, seen those remaining and then gone for lunch. Fortunately at this point we had seen him. Presents given to children were excellent value.
H. A.
Small area with small variety of animals. But for a free entrance (with encouraged donation), it definitely deserves a 5 star.
Got to see animals and playground for kids.
Well done to the volunteers. Keep up the good work.
J. D. I.
Really great volunteers helped my kid as much as they could. Had the opportunity to feed the animals as well as hold them. Only downside is that later in the year they have less animals because of the weather, but still a good time in winter.
C. N.
Lovely small farm, a good place for children, there are animals children can feed, and also a children playground, sure will come again
S. W.
I absolutely love this farm. Its a real gem with a great selection of things to play on for the children. Plenty of animals to look at & feed. The lamb & goat feeding was an amazing experience. The staff are brilliant & very welcoming. Real good value on food, drinks, ice creams & souvenirs.
O. M.
We visited here one morning and had a great time, amazing that this is just around the corner from the city centre 😀
The animals look happy and well card for with plenty of space and company.
The farm needs volunteers and donations so if you're think of visiting, don't delay.
Great staff, friendly and helpful.
Sadly we visited during covid so it wasn't quite the same but we felt that the staff had made a real effort to keep visitors safe, we definitely felt safe anyway.
Highly recommended.
m. b.
A good place for a short visit. Good if you have young children. The farm is pathed so buggies are fine, not muddy. small shop and cafe. Good play area outside. Car park is small so on the road is you best bet. £2 for tha day using go Ringo app.
J.
Lovely little farm to take the kids. Café is staffed by lovely people with learning difficuties. They always have a smile on their face. Fantastic service. This may not be the biggest farm but the kids love it. Charity ran and I'm more than happy to dig deep each time we go.
G. G.
Amazing little farm. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It was our first time and we loved it. The animals are friendly and the gardens are big and will look beautiful in summer to walk around. The cafe and little park are excellent! There's even picnic tables. For a FREE hour or two out with children, this place is amazing and definitely deserves some kind of donation to keep it going. Very impressed, will be back and making donations. Thank you guys and girls ❤️

Lovely place where to relax, enjoy the nature in the city: great for kids and family.

Stone Bridge City Farm is the perfect place to spend some family time together, especially if the weather is good. Admission is free, the staff are very friendly, there are friendly faces to the people, but I have to admit that also to the animals that you can see there. All animals are in very good condition, look healthy, calm, carefree and definitely not starved. I am delighted that places like this one are exist. Super place, prices in shop and restaurant reasonable. A playground for the youngest. Hygienic place, clean, hot water and paper towels available at several points. Definitely recommend this place. It is worth visiting.
I. d. B. (.
Smaller than I was expecting but lovely!
Not much parking in the dedicated car park so I parked on the road but that was very cheap.
Nice spot to sit and read for a while as an adult, plus the produce is wonderful because you know you're supporting a local small charity!
M. K.
What a lovely place. We first went with my sons school and then took my son and daughter here, they enjoyed feeding and petting the animals, there was plenty to do and with the new and improved Park, they had extra fun
R. H.
Excellent place to visit, animals to see and feed with the food provided, great for kids. Party room available too which we have used two or three times for our kids. The shop contains sweets and gifts but also freshly grown produce from the farm. Free entry but worth giving a donation everytime so they can keep the place running.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Positive Review Friday
As it's half term, we went to visit Stonebridge City Farm in Nottingham as an educational and local day out.
There's quite a bit of parking which is good, and when you enter, you're greeted by cakes, coffee, and bags of food for the animals... we took all three. We fed the pigs, the goats and the chickens, as well as stroking the ponies.
There is a fabulous park there which our son loved, especially lying on the spinny swing for a good ten minutes 🤮
If you've got a few hours free in Nottingham and love supporting a hardworking charity, go visit Stonebridge CityFarm.
S. H.
Lovely place to visit , All Volunteers friendly, happy and welcoming . see you Again soon !
E. S.
Good place for the kids. Children can feed goats, sheep and cows by their hands. We enjoyed a lot. But meerkats? Really? I am literally shocked. They must move to their habitat ASAP.
K. L.
Wonderful little place that relies on charity donations, if you're in Nottm centre please do go and visit! They sell their own produce and it's super cheap to feed their animal, which are all, lovely, especially the baby goats! :)
B. K.
Great family day out. They now have meerkats. Donation points in several places on the farm. Recommend looking in their shop as they also sell local produce, jams, preserves, eggs etc
C. F.
Lovely farm with lots of farm animals as well as ducks & chickens. Nice play area for children, shop & cafe...no admission but can put donation in box to help if you want to.
E.
Its a nice piece of farm in the city, the animals are rotated to go outside and you can buy feed and produce here. though the enclosures/building are reallly dusty and need a deep clean, it almost set off my partners asthma. I emailed them about cleaning it for free which they didnt respond yet. You should advertise yourselves more.
B. O.
Great place to go if you've never been to a farm and also large number of animals and plants, this is more like the closest you can get to o a zoo without actually going to one, recommend you take your kids along cos they will enjoy the experience considering is free and just a donation.
G. B. D.
An amazing gem in the city centre. Well worth a visit. Walking distance from city centre. Lots of lovely plants and animals to look at. Forgot I was in the city!
A. T.
Great place for a quick visit and small park for kids to play on.
Small gift shop offering various knick knacks
Cafe with cakes and hot drinks etc.
Over all very nice little place.
S. P.
Fantastic for a donation run place. The café and the shop could be improved of course. However animals and plants look very happy and well looked after.
G. G.
Brilliant place for all ages, and completely free. Please donate if you can, to keep this great little farm going.
b. l.
This is a lovely place in the city. Well worth taking the kids.
Also has a shop for the veg grown on site and a café
K. A.
Staff are really friendly. You can feed the goats which my little boy loves. There is also a play area for the children and benches and chair so you can eat. There is also a cafe you can sit and eat. Absolutely love this farm
A. W.
Lovely little inner city farm & garden. Had the best time feeding the animals 🐄🐐🐑. Café and farm shop on site, plus a play area for children. Looking forward to going again. Run on donations so give generously 🙂
L. D.
Great for little kids, and great this is in the city. Compared to some commercial farms open for children this place is incredible value for money.
E. 9.
Amazing place for where it is, being in the city, I wasn't expecting much but it sure suprised me. My little lad loved it, and all in all, was a good hour or 2
G.
we had a lovely day here, I think like most people have said there isn't a huge amount of animals but it's great for younger kids/toddlers, we spent about 2.5/3 hrs there but you could get round in 30 mins if you have a child who gets bored easily (But it is free). The children's play ground on site needs updating as it's old and poor quality, think they'd get people staying longer if they did it up but I'm not going to react a star for this as it didn't make our day any less enjoyable. Didn't try the food but staff were lovely and helpful.
M. H.
Small but perfectly formed. Great for kids. Small, free car park out the front but plenty of on street parking. Good playground, cafe and a shop which takes card payment and sells fresh eggs. Plenty of animals - horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens etc and a bag of feed is only 50p. 5 mins out from town so it's easy to get to. We had fun.
L. G.
Lovely time spent seeing the animals.Staff so abliging in all areas, the apples I bought from the shop were fantastic.
A. A.
For a farm in the middle of the city which is also ran off charity donations this is amazing. Such a great place, week done everyone who gives there time to volunteer
R. S.
Lambs, pigs, budgies, chickens, rabbits... oh my! A great day out for all the family, especially in spring when the lambs and chicks are out. It is just outside the city centre, an easy walk to get to, and an oasis of calm. Did I mention the lambs? And the budgies?
The staff are excellent, though you will probably want to bring a packed lunch if you are in a group. The have cows and sheep, and did I mention the lambs? Perfect for an afternoon out.
K. E.
Lovely place to go. Cafe was exceptionally priced and staff were lovely. Free admission
W. C.
Lovely farm and a very cheap trip. Free admission, pay for food and to pet lambs.
T. P.
Lovely place and a very nice young man made the time to show us around
J. B.
Lovely little farm, all run on donations. Few animals to feed great for young children. Nice little park to play on. Food and drinks avaliable.
I. S.
Excellent place for the kids. I keep going back with the kids and it is always an excellent place. Go take your kids etc. I always leave a donation. A gem of a place.
S. K.
Nice little farm in the city. Limited free parking infront of the farm. Lots of paid parking on the road. On site play area and cafe (please be patient as cafe helpers include individuals with special needs).
S. H.
SCF is a beautiful place with wonderfully kept gardens, well maintained space for the animals and a cafe for a nice cuppa after a walk around.
J. H.
Absolutely love the place nice people very friendly great day out really recommend it
J. B.
Perfect time for little ones to see real animals. Would welcome rabbits. We weren't lucky to see gooses and ducks outside on few occasions we were there.
It can be little muddy especially in child play area so better think of that before you visit.
But take in mind it is place run by voluntaries and what it is, where it is 5 STARS.
M. H. (.
I love how self sufficient this place is. Amazong for any locals with small children for a morning or afternoon out. Cute lil goaties, sheepies, cowwies and horsies, as well as an amazing cafe with freshly baked treats.
G. M.
I will leave five star as what they do is great. But what I will say is after a recent visit this weekend we were very disappointed. The number of animals is reducing every time we visit. Now only cows and sheep. Happy to donate when the farm needs help and is worth a visit but unfortunately it's looks so sad and almost derelict now. Such a shame as a lovely place and loved donating to help the farm. Hope this is temporary.
T. x.
Lovely day out with the children. Friendly staff and they loved feeding the animals.
C. D.
I think this is a lovely little place to go when wanting to take little ones for some time out. I visited with my daughter. she loved playing in the park area, and I enjoyed seeing the animals. The staff are all friendly.
R. R.
Fantastic place run by volunteers. Free entry but please donate if you can. Difficult to believe it is so close to the city centre. Car park is very small but on the road parking is available. You can also buy their own vegetables here or even honey.
E. W.
Always a great place to go. Play area and picnic area has things for all ages of children. Has plants and veg at great prices. By your feed to feed the animals the kids love it 60p. Ice lollies at 60p what a bargain. Food in cafe cheap and really nice. Free to get in. But you can leave a donation. You can spend the whole day there and not spend much if you take your own picnic. Great day out.
H. R.
Lovely little city farm with a good range of facilities run by volunteers and donations. Brilliant for young children and old alike. Buggy friendly too.
V. C.
Small farm but a nice way to spend an hour or two. Excellent cakes and friendly volunteers.
L. D.
Lovely little Gem of a city farm!, perfect for young children and families, well maintained and very organised. It is run by volunteers and relies on contributions To help feed the Animals, also has a small playground and a lovely cafe. Plenty of small Animals that you can feed with Grass pelets purchased at the reception. Worth a visit.
If the carpark is full there is parking areas you can pay for parking it's £2 and done on the app.
Free parking for Blue badge holders.
g. h.
This is a great place to visit but it's a shame they waste so much produce because the public dont want to buy as the produce is very nice and it's not forced grown and all organic
P. P.
I like this place a lot. there are a lot of Asian ingredients for cooking, the price are reasonable and staffs are friendly.
W. A.
Beautiful little farm amidst the city. Free entry and friendly staff. Animal food purchasable for 75p! Totally worth a visit for a little break.
l. g.
We went here for our daughter 1st birthday and they sang happy birthday to her, they are super friendly and such a lovely environment. Definitely be a regulars x
J.
Free to enter, but it's not the biggest. Good for an afternoon out to see some animals!
C. P.
Goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits, a terrapin, a tortoise. What have I forgotten....oh yes a wasp. Really relaxed way to spend a couple of hours away from the city centre and only a short walk from the main square passing Sneinton market halls. Funded by donations so please support generously.
U. I.
My son's favourite 😍

Yea, great place to visit with the children & grandchildren. Who would think of a farm in the middle of a big City like Nottingham
But there you have it as well as a great play park for the kids and an eating area with tables & benches. Good fun and gentle animal experience for the children.
M. T.
I didn't know about this place until I put it in Google nearby farm..
It's nice for a half day out It's free
R. B.
It was a great experience feeding farm animals. Well maintained farm within the city and accessible via public transport. Would highly recommend for family with kids for a day (half may be) out. This place also has a small garden and plenty of slides, swings, etc. for kids to play.
S. S.
The farm was very small but what they lacked in size they made up for in friendliness. I have never been to such a friendly farm. The animals were healthy and well looked after. The hot drinks and cakes were very nice and the park was good fun for the children and very clean. We spent a good couple of hours wandering around. The parking is free and so is the farm but they would like donations :)
T. O.
Nice place to take the kids for a few hours. Defo recommend, don't be put off by where it is situated.
Parking is a bit tight, best to get the bus, easily accessible from town.
R. S.
Nice place to spend a couple if hours andcthe bonus is its free
T. B.

J. C.
A perfectly city farm, ran by a wonderful and hard-working team of volunteers. Pigs, cows, goats, lambs, horses, chicken and rabbits among many other fluffy creatures. What's not to love?
D. C.
This was a wonderful little place, tucked away in Nottingham. Its the perfect place to take your little ones, either to entertain or educate. Everything from the wonderful little (and large) creatures, to the great people working hard to make the place somewhere special. I highly recommend a visit (and a donation) to anyone interested in local products, animals and wonderful flowers.
K. B.
Free farm, lovely homemade food and cheap food for the animals...lovely day out for young ones
J. P.
Really nice place to go with kids. Positive and warm volunteers. Nice playground which every kid will love to. Small choice of animals but it's not a big deal if You're creative parent. Awesome opportunity to feed animals. You can even buy honey or veggies from their agriculture. Overall: brilliant place 👍
B. M.
Lovely farm and the food is delicious!
M. T.
Lovely little farm, donations are recommend for entry.
Have lots of birds, cows, pigs, sheep and goats. Have some baby animals too! Staff are lovely, food is basic (due to covid) but is lovely and very reasonably price. Animal food and snacks also available, along with handmade jams and preserves. Lots of cleaning on play area was also great to see. Free car park on site too! My first visit, will definitely visit again.
B. W.
Small, but great for pre-school aged kids. Good tea room, and kids play area. Tiny car park, no on-street parking
E. C.
Lovley free farm with a small shop selling freshly grown produce &. Well worth the visit, my little one loved it. there is quite a good little park to play on as well.
Will definitely be going back again.
M. M.
Very nice place to go out with family 😊👨👩👦
M. C.
Amazing day out the farm has changed a lot. Kids love it the play area is amazing would recommend
J. M.
This is a hidden gem and a great place to keep the kids. There's a play park and a little shop. I can't think of many better activities if you're local and looking for something to do on a summer afternoon than to take the kids to see the animals and garden, buy an ice cream and let the play on the park
A. H.
Very good. Not quite sure why members of the public could enter their shop but if you wanted to use the cafe you had to eat outside because of covid restrictions. Don't understand this reasoning.
D. W.
Plenty of apparatus for kids to play on; you can feed the animals; we thoroughly enjoyed the day; free to enter! They rely on donations to keep going; great few hours out for children of all ages!
J. L.
I love this place. Wonderful little farm in the middle of the city. Great playpark and events for kids.
H. O.
Brilliant community farm with so much to do for kids
J. S.
Worth a visit with young children. The playground and animals are all open. The shop and cafe are closed but outdoor tables are selling a few items including animal feed bags. The children were each given a free. brown bag with snacks and a drink. Entrance is free but you can make a donation. Very much enjoyed our visit.
S. G.
Lovely visit to this fantastic farm. Well kept.
F. n. c.
I love the animals who are there, but i don't too much that they're living in small fances.. they should be free..
N.
Really nice small farm/zoo thing, I'm not really sure how to describe it but there's free entry.
R. L.
Ideal if you are looking for a place to entertain young children. Enough animals to interest, an excellent and safe play area, a cafe to satisfy the snack needs of all , with the added bonus of interesting gardens and decent plants for sale. Well worth a visit.
S. T. P. W.
I visit frequently but last visit was disappointing as found only couple of sheeps and goose and other birds were caged... lamb petting was memorable...and my son enjoyed a lot as it was his first experience..
R. W.
Fantastic Hideaway, Farm in the middle of Nottingham.
Over the last two years the place has grown and improved.
Considering it is run by volunteer's, they have all done a fantastic job.
I Personally think that they could do with kind hatred help and sponsorship
Thank you Stonebridge Farm.. Keep up the good work,
Well done
S. (.
Great place to take the kids and to keep the place going, as it's all run voluntary. Great to see the new born lambs today.
T. W.
Lovely Urban farm, a great little play area along with some lovely Animals a little Gem to visit
k. j.
Cute little farm with beautiful grounds lots of flowers a creative play area for kids and makes for a nice day out with the kids. Place to eat, rest rooms and hand washing facilities clean and maintained. Would go back again to enquire about the birthday packages they do.
Staff very helpful in giving advice about your pets at home aswell.
I. E.
Small farm with some lovely animals and play area for kids and sitting place for parents allowing to watch them. You can buy there snacks and drinks. Entry is free. Small private parking.
A. H. (.
Not much there. It was just pretty much in and out. The rabbits were all in cages away from the fences, as were the birds. The ponies were in a separate paddock outside of the main part. Would have been good if possible to have a more closer encounter with the animals. It was really only the goats and sheep that came forward. The playground was ok but busy with most not wearing masks so was itching to get out.
S. H.
Kids loved it. Most staff very friendly. Café wasn't back open fully yet though so limited on food if you don't pack a picnic.
S. H.
Queue was around 45 minutes long. Once inside plenty hand wash stations. Nice Park for kids to play. Great volunteers who were very helpful. Great day for both young and old
r.
My Grandaugher loves it here the staff are wonderful
J. G.
Lovely outdoor fun. Great social distancing and lots of cleaning and hand cleansing stations.
M. I.

A. G.
Brilliant place and the staff and really friendly and helpful. Lovely place for children to learn about animals.
T. c.
Great place for families. Organic gardens a treat and well kept animals, friendly staff. Donations only for entrance so if you're strapped for cash it's still ok to visit.
A. M.
Easy to find, free car park and also on street parking.
Kids playground near the cafe for adults to supervise children but also have a chill. The cafe employes those with disabilities, so a great cause to support. Free entry but a donation is recommended at the door.
You can feed and interact with a range of farm animals as well as pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Friendly staff/volunteers. Definitely recommend.
R. M.
Fun small farm to help introduce kids to animals with the chance to feed and pet them. Delicious cakes and a great play area. Great cheap afternoon out 👍

Lovely play area for young children. Very reasonably priced cafe. Plenty of shade on a hot day. Nice garden and small selection of plants for sale too.
R. W.
Fantastic free farm in the heart of Nottingham.
Lots of animals to see and feed.
A play park
A cafe
Gardens
And a small gift shop which also sells the farms flowers and grown produce.
It's a lovely way to spend a few hours.

Love this farm , lets keep it going with every little helps donations
T. N.
I went with my friends and we enjoyed our time there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The farm is quite small but there is a variety of different animals. There is also a place to pet rabbits and guinea pigs (highly recommend)! The cafe serves affordable food. Suitable for kids.
A.
Great small farm in the city ! Our kids love it !
D. 1.
A great day out for all of us.. the animals were well kept, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the location itself was easy to find and get to. Will be visiting every month from now on! Thank you to all the volunteers that make the farm such a wonderful place to visit.
W. T.
I absolutely love this place. I’ve been taking my daughter here since she was very small and she is 16 now. We go to visit when we are wondering what to do. Now she is pursuing a career with animals. The staff are always very friendly and easy to approach. I also love the way that Stonebridge welcomes everyone and everyone is able to be involved in something. I just truly admire what has been achieved at Stonebridge with a little initiative. A huge thumbs up for you all
R. M.
Lovely farm for the family. Our girls loved it. Animals were friendly. Thank you for a lovely day.
S. J.
Amazing little donation run farm in the middle of the city, the baby goats and lambs are really human friendly, and you can pay for feed to give to them! Amazing if you're a couple, or a family with younger kids, or just an animal lover. It is free, however I'd recommend donating a small amount or using the cafe, really keeps this quirky place running! Love it
h. s.
I was pleasantly surprised when visiting here. There is a nice little park on site for children which is great in summer. There is a shop too although small. There is a small carpark available but this does get full or you can park on the street for a small fee. Lovely place and best of all it's free. Would definitely recommend for a nice family day out.
E. C.
Good place, lovely garden
N. P.
Great day out. My 3yr old son loved feeding all the animals.
C. D.
We love this farm! It's free to enter, and also you can take your own pack lunch and eat on the picnic tables. You can buy a bag of animal food for 50p and feed lots of the animals. There is a great park to play on too. There is a cafe for hot and cold food and drinks.
k. r.
A nice and easy to reach city farm with cows, goats, chicken, horses, pigs and birds e.t.c. Good place to bring kids to show the farm animals, they will love it. Though there is no official entrance ticket but there is donation box at entrance and as they run on donations only, so it is nice to donate some money. There is a small café at the farm and also has toilet facility. There is parking facility infront but it can hold mostly 10 cars. There is a lot of on street parking facility nearby but it fills faster on busy days and during summer.
P. A.
It's a small farm within City limits. Went here with our one year old to show him some animals as he quite likes seeing them. Took us about half an hour to go around the whole farm at a leisurely pace. There's a cafe on site and a play park. Not a lot to do though. The animals seemed well cared for.
J. L. -. n. V.
It costs very little to take young children here to see and feed animals, play on a park and have a little lunch in one visit.
I love how they have people with special needs as their helpers, it gets them interacting with the public and they're amazing with kids.
I'd highly recommend this place for people with young children. It's a fraction of the cost of another farm that is in a rural area and this one is easy to access by public transport.
M. L.
A really lovely friendly place ...so nice to have something like this close in the heart of the city ....They have worked so very hard and it shows ....I came here when my son was 4 months old to just meet up with a friend who also had a baby the same age ...he is 14 on Christmas day his next birthday....food cakes tea lovely....hotdogs and onions amazing with mustard and tomato sauce ....it was very busy when we visited last Thursday....people need to appreciate and understand more of what all you people actually do....keep up the amazing work people xxxxx much love
G. L.
What a lovely place and people they need all the help they can get... they deserve every penny and more
L. H. a. M.
Lovely place to visit with my 3 year old
G. B.
Lovely place for all the family. Lovely little play area, cafes nice, lovely farm area for the children to look at. Great place to visit.
P. S.
Nice place for toddlers to meet and feed the animals, there is a toilet and coffee. They have homemade food. Cakes are delicious. You can buy honey , eggs, herbs from little shop. New playground area. Toilets need refreshing but I understand it's all volunteers so 4 stars
m. m.
It's a nice animal farm very near to city center. Children can get enough knowledge as well as playing activity in the dedicated play area. Quite affordable eating options as well
D. C.
Fab city farm, quite amazed what can be achieved in the heart of the city, you are transported to another world while visiting. Amazing play area. Good shop selling a wide range of gifts, food and plants to suit all budgets. The cafe was very busy but it was a super warm day. Animal's are well cared for, clean, you can buy food and feed the animals. Very friendly friendly staff. Well worth a visit and not forget to make a donation.
U. U.
A wonderful place, the animals seem happy and well looked after, they're very friendly, you can stroke them and feed them. The farm is only a short walk from the city centre and is an enjoyable experience for both adults and children. The admission is free but donations are welcome. Definitely worth visiting.
C. C.
Great little place tucked away in a housing estate and has been there 40 years or more, was shocked had a host of animals and activities for little ones, very impressed it's a small place but if you want an hour to relax grab a bite and have a place your kids will enjoy I recommend
E. W.
Glad to see that stone ridge is back open. A lot of work has gone into them re opening. A shame we couldn't feed the animals but the staff we amazing as ever! The park looked really good and the kids enjoyed it. The food was lovely
L. D.
Fantastic little farm, great play park. If you go on a Tuesday or Friday morning, you can attend Rainbow Stripes for £2.50 (a lovely music class for babies and toddlers). Couldn't recommend highly enough!
K. C. W.
Lovely animals in a great community run project.
C. W.
Wonderful time at our Christmas meal. Friendly staff and food was delicious.
Even the walk round the barn was interesting despite the weather.
Topped off with Christmas Carol sing along.
Well done everyone involved and Merry Christmas to you all...
Y. B.
Lovely place great for kids.
Great For people with learning disabilities because it's not too big.
Then you can sit down and have a meal in the cafe or tea ,coffee or a can of pop.
Also they are getting some Meer cats. I am sure that will be a big hit to all !!!!!
R. B.
I have been bringing my son here since he was a baby and we still come. I love the ethos of the place and I'm really happy it survives. The park is really good and has recently been refurbished. There is a cafe selling all sorts of lovleyness. Go and support this little inner city gem!
A. F.
Lovely little farm in the middle of St.Annes. Nice friendly staff and a nice little cafe and play area. Home produced products and local goods on sale. Very enjoyable afternoon.
P. W.
Great little place. Kids loved getting up close to some lovely animals. Play area was fun too.
B. N.
Not far from home and was great for my little girl, animals, park and cafe that does food and drinks we had a nice time
L. T.
Had a really good time, the staff and volunteers are friendly and very knowledgeable. You can walk around in your own time to see the animals and gardens. All the animals seem to be well looked after and it's great fun feeding them grass pellets from the farm shop. Fresh produce and plants are also available (including goose and quail eggs). Would definitely recommend to anyone in Nottingham as it's close to the city centre and they only ask for a couple of quid as a donation to help keep it running!
R. L.
This inner city farm is terrific. It has a large play area and outside lunch tables to spend your time either before or after visiting the animals. They have a cafe for tea, coffee, snacks, sandwiches etc. This is a charitable setup, so although free to go to, they really need donations. You can buy feed for 50p to give to the farm animals, pay £1 for the regular scheduled handling sessions, £1 for 20 mins of bouncy castle and they regularly hold special events like feeding the lambs or watching the sheep shearing. There is a very small car park out the front, so if driving be aware you may need to pay for parking on the road. However it is so close to town that it's easily walked too from the inner city.
S. B.
Bought my Boys Brigade company this afternoon. They all enjoyed it very much
D.
Fantastic place to take kids, remember always leave a donation or buy a little something
T. V. d. W.
Nice to see a place like this. There is a nice children playground and very interesting farm animals and vegetables section were you can learn a lot about farmlife, feed the animals and learn how to grow your own vegetables at home. You can drink something or buy plants to take home also. It is not that far from the city center and entry is free. I would recommend a visit to get away from the hectic city life and have a very different experience.
W. J.
Really nice staff very friendly and such a really nice place for tranquility, loved feeding the animals especially the cows. Keep up the good work
J. T.
A lovely, therapeutic space beneficial to all. Wide range of plants for sale and a clean tea room offering home made cakes. A great place for children to see the real life version of some of the animals in their books.
N. A.
I think its a great little place if u have small kids, nothing compares locally!
Z. M.
Free entry, pay what you can afford. 50p for a bag of animal food. Good variety for an hour or two for the kids with a picnic area and park. Love how this establishment supports those with learning disabilities and provides jobs for them.
J. L.
Lovely friendly staff
My grandchildren loved it
S. C.
I honestly don't know how I've never heard of here before! The staff were friendly, and same with the animals! So much fun and refreshing, and only a few minutes away from the centre. I also really recommend the pasties too!
J. D.
What a brill day out for families in the holiday. There are links nearby for public transport. There is some limited free parking for customers but this fills up very quickly it’s only £2 on street next to the venue though for all day. The farm is a charity so a visit is free but a suggested donation is £1 for a child £2 for an adult which is very reasonable. There are gardens animals to feed and hold as well as a great play park. The park has an older section and a tots section which is great as not all do! The venue has wheel chair access though some corners are tight and uneven ramps in some places.
A. M.
As someone mentioned earlier, parking can be difficult at times but it is worth the effort. My little lad loves the farm and it is a fight everytime to get him out of there again.
S. M.
We love goats and they have them.
Very easily pleased, but wish it was bigg
T. I. B. W. L.
Such a lovely place to visit. ❤️
G. W.
Approaching it's 40th birthday this is a hidden gem in the city centre.
The main thing that's impressive about Stonebridge is the enthusiasm of its staff and volunteers.
Everyone always seems busy and the gardens and patches are really well-maintained.
It's a great place for a cheap family day out and also to teach kids about sustainability and growing food. Parking is limited on site but there's plenty surrounding it for only £2 for the whole day.
Have visited many times and will continue to go back.
C. P.
Very nice place will definitely go back nice food to .
F. D.
A lovely free experience for the children. They have a little shop which sells cheap refreshments for all of the family. Very kind and friendly staff/ volunteers. Buy seeds from the shop to feed the goats and sheep. Very enjoyable roughly an hour max. Entertainment. Café on site with park
H.
One of Nottingham's gems. A farm a short walk from the Ice Arena. They do fantastic work in the community and feeding the animals is highlight. It's not big but it's free- reliant on charitable donations. If you haven't been, do so!
T. B.
Definitely worth a visit. Run on charity...so please donate generously. The staff were visible if they were needed and were polite. The Animals are well looked after. The place is slightly run down but generally speaking this doesn't deter from all the hard work that is put into the daily running of this Farm.
D. L.
Great for free but needs help financially to keep it going.
L. H.
A lovely little farm close to the city centre. Great for kids. Small gift shop, outdoor play area and a small selection of animals including chickens, goats, cows and pigs. Inside are rabbits, hamsters and Guinea pigs.
E. T.
Lovely little city farm with a newly refurbished park. My sons love coming here for a few hours. Even better when they bring the caff outside.
G. G.
Such a wonderful idea that needs supporting. Covid restrictions still heavily in use and not at other farms. Hopefully these will be lifted soon.
B. A.
Nice farm with lots od domestic animals. Perfect place to bring the children for sum fun also as there is playground. Some gardening stuff too with herbs and homegrown fruit and vegetables which are pretty acceptable to buy. The café needs improvement in speed of service
R. K.
My children really enjoyed themselves. My son and daughter loved looking at the animals and playing on the park area, aswel as bouncing on the bouncy castle. They had lots of fun!
E. C.
Free entry to the site. As farms go, it's quite little but it's not too far from the main shopping area of the city. The animals are well kept and mostly friendly, probably a great place to take younger children.
R. U.
Lovely atmosphere and great service professionalism
A. H.
For what it is, and where it is, its actually a quite a nice place to occasionly visit. The kids did enjoy the few animals that were there and the play area.
I do feel that in the last couple of years, it's become more of a animal dumping ground. With cramped walkways and animals you would (mostly) see in local parks, it's becoming increasingly overrun with a lot of domestic animals, is it a farm or a rescue centre? The duck/chicken/turkey coop was hugely overcrowded, with a very small pretty much puddle sized 'pond'
I do very much appreciate what you are doing and the lack of resources to do it. I just feel like some improvements would hugely benefit the farm, such as a little jiggle around with the animals, reducing numbers, increasing others. A new pond and a mud area for the pigs, would work too, goats, especially little ones, need enrichment, so climbing spots ramps etc. You want returning custom because it's good, not just because it's a free day out.
D. B.
I didnt get photos this time but this little place hidden behind Lidl in the town centre is a little gold mine. All they ask is for a small donation to visit, and they have a play park, a cafe, a learning centre, a barn and then the pens. For it's small size it really has a lot going for it.
Please do make a small donation if you visit as they were on the verge of having to close down this year and it would be a terrible loss if they did. Many thanks x
J. b.
Great place little one loved it could do with a few more animals though, goats are lovely and the little one loved feeding them. It does need a bit of tlc seems rather run down would be a lovely place and attraction if a bit of money was invested into the place
K. L.
Love this little farm, very friendly staff and a fun day out for all x
F. B.
Free, friendly and fun place for both kids and adults. Outdoor seating, park, cafè and a shop. I enjoy going to this place with my daughter and also volunteered.
Thankyou
R. H.
Lovely place for kids. Just a donation to get in. lots of animals, sheep, goats, horses, rabbits and guinea-pigs. My kids love to visit as a treat when we have to take them shopping in Nottingham.
D. J.
I love this place! -an animal lover
c. c.
Nice small farm, with play area and cafe ,good for kids or elderly
J. C.
A worthwhile project in an inner city area. Provides work experience for people with disabilities and an invaluable resource for children to see a working small farm. The little shop sells the produce and other things including bags of food for visitors to feed the animals. Their own set honey is the best in Nottingham!
D. D.
Our Guinea pigs boarded for a week at the farm, the staff are so kind and knowledgeable, put my worried son at ease.
Fantastic city farm with lots to see and do, thank you all and we will be visiting again soon!
C. C.
Fab little place. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Its a little limited due to covid restrictions but that can't be helped. Me and my 15 month old were there for about 45 mins before we got a little bored. Would go again.
r. f.
Lovely place to bring the kids for a day out, or afternoon out. Please support the farm, all donations go towards animal feed
T. M.
Nice community run petting zoo.
K.
This farm is Fabulous for people all ages. The staff and volunteers are very caring and work hard. The animals are very well cared for the farm is kept clean 😀. Food in the cafe is also reasonably priced🤩

Lovely little urban farm. Great layout and a nice play area as well. Perfect for young kids to explore.
e. e.
Lovely place for kids. We really enjoyed feeding the Lama.
l. k.
Ok selection of animals. Cows, pigs, sheep, horses, ducks, chickens to name a few. Got a good park for the kids to play while you have a coffee. Can buy food to fed some of the animals
R. S.
Non profit organisation (free), therefore it is small and not the greatest but good for little uns.
Animals such as bunnies, sheep, ponies, chickens and pigs. Children are able to hold, pet and feed animals.
Little park on site.
Car park is tiny, however we went on a Sunday, so we was able to park on main road for free.
C. B. (.
A great place for city kids who cannot make it out to the country side. Plenty of buses pass on Carlton road with a 5 minutes walk to the farm. Get off the bus at the old Coop This place has got better and better over the years.
C. W.
Another gem within the city limits. Wonderful to take family to see the animals and participate in the activities they have going on throughout the week. You can also buy fruit, veg and other local food items from here.
W. W.
Good fun for the kids, enjoy feeding the animals and playing on the park. Lots of home grown and homemade goods for sale.
W. H.
My daughter loved it 🙂
D. B.
Great free entertainment for young kids, close interaction with the animals. cafe, and kids play area are also available. Small shop where you can buy food for animals and treats for kids. Entry is free but donations are welcome

C. T.
Very nice to visit but not suitable for wheelchairs.
l. j.
Loved this little farm. So much more than I thought and all for free. The animals are well cared for and the area clean and tidy. I was amazed to find such a little treasure in this part of Nottingham.
L. D.
One of the reasons to be proud of Nottingham, a great place to show farm animals to kids in the heart of the city. Rely purely on donations so give as much or as little as you can. spend the tenner petrol money it would cost to get to whitepost farm innit
k. H.
Lovely place, good variety of animals a litte cafe and a park for the little ones
S. N.
I actually like going to this farm, it's free to go in but they would like donations :)
Not very many animals, more animals inside the hutch, cool little park and café, prices are okay in the cafe but we normally take a packed lunch or get chips on the way home
E.
This is a local farm it is great it has a caffe it is 1pound to get a token to pet the animals at 12 or 2pm also there is a barn with indoor animals a shack with snacks and toys/food for the animals and you can pay a extremely small amount of money on your way in or on the way out and that money goes towards helping the animals and upgrading everything there. I would definatly recommend.
J. I.
What a lovely place to visit for the whole family. Great therapy for all and easily accessible. Would highly recommend a visit.
L. L.
Great community asset for all animals to feed and pet. Great food and very reasonable prices. Free to get in but please donate to the charity in the box. Sell plants and veg too . Visit regular xx

Great little place in the city. Very cheap, well free really if you can't afford the suggested donation (£2 adults, £1 chn).
However it is a charity and requires donations to help survive so please donate what you can.
J. H.
Nice place to visit and see all cute animals.
n. t.

Fun place for family and kids, or anyone with interest in animals. Great for a city and also reasonable prices for all dining or drinks. They also provide boarding for small animals for very reasonable price.

Loving stonebridge ❤️❤️❤️
Attended a birthday party there and even though it was raining we still all had fun, the kids and adults alike loved the animals, and as its a wonderful charity close to all our hearts I can't fault it. Massive thumbs up to the volunteers who give there time to help this organisation 👍

a. p.
Lovely place to visit. Our 2 year old granddaughter had great time.
J. K.
Great farm. Lots for the children to get involved in. Think they should have a small admission fee instead of relying on donations though to ensure it stays open.
D. M.
Great for family's and Nottingham
E. K.
Stonebridge Farm offers joy for babies and children. We have introduced it to our children 20 years ago and now to our granddaughter. The build up of confidence and the sense of caring is fondamental to all human beings and you get it in abundance at the farm. Also the staff is so welcoming and the food at the Café, using their own grown vegs, is delicious. Not to be missed when growing up!
M. a.
Nice. Very friendly staff
S. L.
Beautiful little place! Well worth a visit!
A. R. O.
Wonderful people running this place most are volunteers. Went with the whole family ages between 80 years and 8 months :) all enjoyed it.

D. J.
Although alot of the areas are close it is still a nice farm to visit especially with the children. Nice park area too for children to play.
b. b.
Fantastic family time
I. A.
They don't try to rip you off.
It has an outdoor play area, an indoor entertainment.
Animals to pet and feed.
A garden.
A good restaurant, friendly helpful staff
Did I mention that they don't try to rip you off
A. H.
For free you can't moan but not last long there. Car park was crap as it's so small even in a small car I struggled to get in some spaces if you have bigger cars in there. Park on the street be easier. Only reason it lost a star.
D. S.
Great little farm, situated near town, my daughter loves going here and handling animals as it's only chance she gets to handle rabbits rats rabbits, and feed farm animals such as, goats sheep pigs and a bull, it's only a small set up, but a good 45 minutes of entertainment for the kids, food is available at the farm shop to feed the animals for a small fee, which pays for the upkeep of the farm
S. D.
Really great time with my 3 kids. Enjoyed feeding and holding the animals. Great price too as only needing a donation.
J. H.
Full of volunteers, everyone is happy including the animals. Great home cooked food using fair share ingredients (supermarkets overstocks).
H. P.
Fun little place for kids, aswel as a farm there's a park to for the kids to enjoy.
D. S.
This is a lovely little morning out for the family with kids, free entry but donations are welcome, I wasnt even aware of this place having lived in Nottingham all my life and feel it needs alot more acknowledgment as it's a charity that relies on donations, thered a great play area and lots of animals around the farm that kids can hand feed.
S.
I’m in love with place. This is a paradise. And the staff were so friendly and allowed us too hold the rabbits. This is a must see for anyone in Nottingham. ❤️❤️❤️
S. P.
Good place to see farm animals, but very limited
D.
What a surprisingly nice place in the middle of the city you must go and see it. It's run by volunteers and you can tell that they all love it so caring and passionate, will be back soon
R. C.
Some interesting animals but a bit run down. Needs real financial support.
On the plus side, my 3yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed it.
M. J.
Amazing if you have children 2-10 years old. As it's small the younger kids don't find it over whelming also there's a park for them to let some every out.
A. C.
Always lovely, ace happy freindly staff and just a few quid suggested donation can't go wrong
B. S.

Great fun for the whole family and its free to enter, a café on site for refreshments or if you'd like to stay for a snack
T. G.

Tatty, in need of a huge monetary injection, although in a poor area of the city, could probably get away with small monetary charge to get in, and an increase in cost in the cafe. Offers deals for groups, but is it worth it if there isn't much to see...
