A. M. (. K. M.Peterborough rowing club is a fantastic place to learn how to row.
The chief instructor and the rest of the instructors are amazing and very helpful to share their experiences of rowing and will walk alongside the bank to make sure you are growing properly and that you are okay. There is a number of boats that are available for students and rowers alike.
I do wish to be more regular here and to see the Peterborough city rowing club grow its own boat house as it once envisioned.

S. B.One of the best rowing clubs in the UK. Great facilities, coaches and friendly atmosphere . Regular Learn to Row courses for all ages, anyone can do it! It's annual competitive events are some of the biggest and best organised in the country. Very scenic location which is fantastic and safe for dog walking or leisure excessive.
T. H.The people are mostly friendly and the facilities are fantastic. Ideal for someone wanting to enjoy the experience of rowing, but if you're looking to seriously compete, then I would suggest you look elsewhere.
PCRC is a predominantly Recreational club and will continue to be for some time.
J. W.What a nice setting! Was here for Peterborough Junior Regatta and had a very nice time. It is in a really nice woodland setting - when you are there you are in a whole different word in comparison to the fast roads and building around. The 1km rowing lake and the access to the river make it the perfect place to row as well.

C. C.The walk around the rowing lake at Thorpe Meadows in Peterborough, is a pleasure. It is on level ground and well suited to wheelchair users. There are sculptures arranged amongst the lightly wooded area surrounding the lake. These range from funny, to heavyweight art.
K. L.1km straight, 5 lane lake, 6km of nearly-straight, non-tidal river (plus 3km of bridges to navigate through for longer outings), a clubhouse with a bar, its own gym and hot showers. What more does a rower need?
G. R.It's a great place to go for a walk with beautiful scenery and nature. The rowing club offers learn to row opportunities and the volunteers are super encouraging and supportive.
