J. F.This was for the Warm Weekday initiative set up by the local Churches in and around Shinfield. This initiative provides soup (choice of 2 flavours), bread, cake, hot drinks and company and a warm place to socialise for those in need in these hard times. The food for the initiative is donated, by local supermarkets, or local people. It's a brilliant idea! St. Mary's day is a Friday, the hours are 12 noon until 4pm. Yesterday I was helping with the set up and then the packing away, but I'm on soup making in 2 weeks time!
N. Y.I practice Morris dancing there. Well equipped, with a kitchen, restrooms, an excellent wooden floor and lots of chairs. Parking on the road is not bad.
