We went into the small lounge bar at the front what a Lovely little area to sit in and have a drink n chat. We went there a couple days later as there was a C&W evening on with Mickey Page in the Function Room Wow it was Huge. Unfortunately I felt that Mickey was Not Appreciated as people were Chatting all the time while he was singing and there were Children running around and Screaming at the top of their voices and doing cartwheels n laying on the dance floor, whilst I do understand it is a 'Social Club' for Families and their children. Sorry it was Just Too Noisy for us, however when we are down that way again we will Certainly call in to the small Bar and have a drink. The Staff were Really nice helpful and Friendly 👏👏 🙂 xx

Was in the venue on a Monday evening to play a darts match... Not many patrons about, so can't comment on atmosphere.... The bar had a good selection of alcohol, service was with a smile too. Cleanliness was good... Seems like a good place to be, if you get an invite.

Well stocked bar and very helpful staff. We attended a birthday function and the buffet was excellent. Plenty of seating room and a large dancefloor. Didn't have a mask for myself or my wife for the taxi home and the lady on security gave me two from her own car bless her

Local to me and quite a nice place to visit for a drink occasionally, though you need to be a member. Particularly convenient when friends visit, as you can sign in a couple of guests. Sometimes has live music and other events. Reasonable sized car park. Doesn't routinely serve food though, which can be an issue. Sometimes crisps & nuts just aren't enough...

This review will be an honest one. Comments should not be taken personally. We hired the large hall and garden space at the back of the hedge end club for our wedding reception last weekend. the price was fab and more than reasonable for such a large space. We booked last year so had a time to prepare We were having the hall.dressed for the occasion which was arranged by ourselves. The company is called Perry Creations(found on Facebook) We can thoroughly recommend Lucy for her professionalism and courtesy. After initially looking around the hall I had my reservations because it looked a little tired but we were told early on that it was due a facelift. A year on and this facelift had not happened. We also had use of a small kitchen to the side of the bar on the day before our nuptials. To be honest it was pretty grubby as were the toilets. I went in and cleaned the loos myself as well as floors and hovered the main rooms. the curtains in the side hall(attached to the main) we grotty and ripped. whilst we were dressing the hall the day before the event quite a few members came a d had a look and said it looked beautiful. it did! On the run up.to the event communication from.the club was pretty poor to be honest. Jeannie I have to say is a star though and the staff on the day were Fabulous!We cannot fault the staff on the day. overall I would say that Jeannie and the bar staff do an amazing job and quite possibly don't get enough credit! thank you ladies management seems to.be somewhat lacking. This could be a fab venue for any occasion because of the apace . However it does need a really deep clean and updating I'm sorry if this review offends anyone but I have been honest which is the whole point of such reviews. management not great. front of house staff amazing cleanliness poor communication,again, not great
