Went on a Saturday, very busy. Family run business.Had a breakfast, the plate was hot and food was good. You could pay for extras . Good value for money. Plenty of parking as there are fishing lakes . Large ladies toilet. Can eat if warmer on the patio area. Yes I would go back and try the fishing next time .

July 22. Took grandson for his first fishing trip. Staff were very useful advising of best pool and pegs. We had a great days fishing and they didn't charge us for our grandson as it was his first experience. We had loads of silver fish on waggler and he caught the only carp around 6lb. Great day out. Bacon sausage egg sandwich was spot on as was the breakfast last time.Upgraded to 5 stars. Feb 22. First visit.The food, breakfast, was very nice. Quality bacon and sausage. It is what you expect from a cafe serving a fishing lake. Some customers were rude and pushed in the queue. It took a while to order. In fact it took too long to order 2 breakfasts because a family of 9 adults and 3 kids decided to walk straight infront of us in the queue and bombard the kitchen staff with lots of different orders and then got their kids to order their food when they clearly didn't know what they wanted. When we eventually ordered and sat down the family of 12 had taken over 4 tables with 2 adults sitting on a table for 6. This didn't impress us on our first visit. Staff did cope well and service was fine. It was very busy at 11am on a Saturday and there were people queuing outside when we left. Probably go back when it's a bit quieter and try again. £7 full breakfast with toast and coffee can't go wrong. Thought I'd mention the other customers incase they're infront of you if you visit.

Did my first ever fishing competition here yesterday, and loved every minute. The people fishing were friendly and helpful with a few hits and tips. We all had breakfast together first. I had (Full English) and the food was great. What more do you need on a Sunday morning.

Pleasure fished Hall pool today with the old man and had a brilliant day. Proper breakfast to start which was lovely then onto the fishing. Pole fished 2 plus 2 to start then in the margins. Both myself and Dad had 100lb plus. Great fisrt time at the fishery, will definitely visit again.👍🏻

Arrived and thoroughly enjoyed a toasted bacon sandwich and cup of tea before fishing, not the best day fishing still caught fish but for this time of year not bad. Easy parking against were you fish so no long walks with all your tackle. Dont forget they are not open on Mondays during lockdown.

Absolutely brilliant fishing venue, very clean. Helpful staff always giving useful advice. Definitely worth a day ticket. Never fails to catch some decent fish.

Local enterprise providing excellent food with friendly service. Premises are clean, virus spaceing allows only 10 seated inside but there is an excellent veranda overlooking the lakes. Well worth a visit. First class.

Basically for fishermen.. but there is a cabin where food and drink is available really cheap 2 coffees and a tea £3.40 bargain...also toilets there too.. sit on veranda watch the ducks lovely and relaxing..

Camped not too far away... Needed to feed the little people... This place saved me. What a breakfast! (visited August last year)

Cold spring fed fishery with plenty quality fish. Clubhouse serves breakfasts and hosts club events with catering. Toilets. Good car access to most pegs. Few windbreaks makes it very cold if the wind picks up.

I, along with my friend, fished the Capricous lake for the very first time and boy was I in for a lovely surprise. My friend is a match angler but I only pleasure fish having given up match fishing a couple of years ago. My friend had in excess of 220lbs and I had about 100lbs of mirrors and commons. A fabulous days fishing in the blazing sun. I will be paying another visit in the next few weeks.
