Having played for them for years now, I can confidently say that the level of friendliness and how new members are welcomed into the team has never slipped. I started the club 2 years ago as someone who had no real experience or knowledge of the game. The people who are a part of the club have helped me to develop and become a better player than I though I could and they are welcoming to all levels. If your new to basketball or have played for years this is the club for you.

After a long time away from playing basketball I wanted to get back into playing again. After searching for a team/place to start up again I was recommended giving Hanley Hustlers a try, this was back in March of 2018, I was a bit apprehensive at first as I hadn't played for a long time and wondered if it was going to work out for me. From the first contact made via Facebook to enquire about where and when the sessions would take place, to my first session I was made to feel welcome right away and any worries I had went away. I knew after my first session this would be the right place for me to get back into the sport I've loved for many years, everyone is made to feel welcome, the atmosphere of everybody taking part was and still is amazing and the level of play/quality is great, all levels of players are welcome from people new to the sport right through to people with years of experience. The club has been built the right way and now also compete is the West Midlands Basketball League which I can say I've had the pleasure or being part of, I would recommend Hanley Hustlers Basketball Club to anyone wanting to play basketball.

Hanley Hustlers Basketball Club is a fun, friendly, professional organisation. The members are passionate about basketball and are always willing to help other people. This is a club that is forward thinking and well organised.

Well organised and well run club, run by a passionate and determined squad. The Hustlers have established themselves as part of the community in the Stoke area, by bringing competitive competitions in tournaments and open door scrimmage.
