Very clean venue, super friendly approach to members and family. Since joining here my two sons have grown a very keen interest in karate and thoroughly enjoy every session. We are so fortunate to have such a kind and caring Sensei who takes the time to teach, help and coach all members who attend. Definitely recommend to all ages and abilities!

Fantastic club! Jason is great Sensei with high expertise and knowledge. This club offers very professional standard and friendly, welcoming approach throughout all ages. Dojo and changing rooms are always kept clean. My oldest daughter started this karate 8 years ago the age of 4 years old and my other 2 daughters quickly followed her after when they became 3 years old. They absolutely love it! Throughout the years we had the privilege to witness their great development. They did not just improved their focus, coordination and discipline but also it helped them to boost their confidence, awareness and made fantastic friends. I couldn’t just stay behind 😁 and watch them to have all the fun 🤩 . I joined in beginning 2020 ,after many years break of martial arts, it was the best decision! Sadly COVID came but our zoom sessions throughout the lock down proved the dedication of our Sensei and all the students. Martial arts is a complete workout (stamina, strength and flexibility, mind - you name it). It’s a great way to reduce stress and improve character. This club offers me all. And I’m very grateful to be part of it. Big thank you to Sensei and his family for such an amazing club and all the hard work. Can’t recommend highly enough!

My son joined Kubotan karate 2 years ago in a big change of direction in interests. He loved it from the very first day and I joined not long later! The club has an amazing balance between being so focussed but also maintaining the family friendly feel. There is always a warm welcome and support for students and family- not only during the sessions but also if you contact the club for advice at other times. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Wales karate association enough. My daughter started just over 3 years ago which she has not only developed karate skills but also increasing her confidence and focus which has helped in so many ways outside the dojo. Everyone connected to wales karate association from Sensei to all of the higher grades to the support serving customers are so friendly and welcoming .Nothing is ever too much trouble. I also joined 6 months ago and I thoroughly enjoy it. My personal favourite is the kumite on the Friday evening.Its the best 😊

Such a welcoming and friendly club. My son joined 3 and a half years ago and has enjoyed his progression up the belts. I joined 2 years ago and we've found the Sensei to be approachable, kind and motivating. The staff always greet us with a smile and make us feel welcome. We've felt very much integrated in to the karate family and always look forward to lessons which are both motivating and fun. The Sensei and the other black belts always make an effort to keep everyone involved and nobody feels isolated or left out. The club itself is always kept clean, particularly the changing rooms and dojo. Look forward to more lessons at Kubotan Karate Kai.

My 2 sons joined a few months back and have loved every minute. Each class is different, they've learnt discipline and self control and it has helped massively with their confidence. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, from Sensei, staff, all the parents and the facilities are second to none. I'd recommend anyone looking for a new sport or past time to come and have a look. Traditional Karate Fitness. From junior to senior karateka the classes are structured to each levels requirements. Combining fitness and fun while teaching traditional karate, and discipline. The true essence of karate shines through the pedigree of karate, in depth syllabus and knowledge from the chief instructor Sensei Jason. The club and association HQ is family run, and it is clear a lot of time and effort has been invested in creating a dojo that is clean, well equipped and anyone lucky enough to train in, can be proud of.
