G. R.The Wakes offers an excellent community space for the residents of Oakengates and beyond. Multi-use function room used by a range of groups and societies, as well as events such as craft fairs. Attached to the fab Outpost cafe, so you can get an affordable bite to eat or Iron & Fire coffee during your visit too.
S. O.Refurbished & the Range cafe now has a trendy rustic bistro vibe. Excellent coffee, good range of cakes & food, including a couple of Vegan options. Great to see that the Wakes function room is being utilised again after being closed for so long.

J. W.Lovely cafe. Good choice in the menu and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and the service excellent. Didnt know this cafe existed till today. Will definately be returning. Looking forward to the fish finger sandwich that my friend had. Lol.
