M.We had our 9 month puppy Marcel neutered here a few weeks back - all the staff where lovely friendly professional - the operation was so straight forward , the location was really easy to get to just off the m56 - and Marcel has made a full recovery after his operation! A. E.Took our cockapoo that we adopted from Manchester dogs home back here to be spayed on 14th as they where good enough to let us take it to them and save us the trip to Manchester. I could not be happier with the team at Cheshire dog home they are all friendly and very helpful. Our little dog is load better now but first couple of days we where worried so rang them on day after op for advice and again again really friendly and helpful.

G. T.We adopted our lovely Jack from here a few years ago. Staff very friendly, and help out with the history of the dogs as much as they can.

k. h.My last visit to Cheshire dogs home was to drop blankets food and toys off after my beautiful little staffy passed away, I could hardly speak when I got there and the staff were so understanding and thankful for the donations. They do an amazing job of trying to find all the fur baby's forever homes.

K. L. B.Was ok, i appreciate what they do but i was slightly disappointed. We adopted from there, we felt sorry for our girl because all the other dogs get a fuss made when they get adopted photos and such. Not ours, just thanks and goodbye. They couldn't tell us much of her history because she was previously a stray but they surely should have noticed at some point during her stay that she was dog reactive. 2 years on and several trainers later and were still struggling 😢

C. C.Cheshire Dogs' Home staff actively care about the welfare of the animals they rescue, both on-site and once they are re-homed. I collected my third dog in late December. The first two came to me ten years ago, as a middle aged pair, they would only re-home together, because they had arrive from the same home.
My current dog is a joy to be with. Her care by the staff having kept her confident and ready to fit into her new home with ease. She is now teaching me all her tricks and pleasures - catching a ball in the air, taking a log for her bed, carrying her stick when we walk. All dogs need good homes.
S. C.Fantastic place. Brought my mum's dog to have his bits done.. less than half price of most vets! Greeted by lovely caring staff. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

G. P.Went to look for a suitable dog for the grandchildren. We took our little dog along so he could socialise with other dogs.
Unfortunately our dog was not allowed in, so I had to sit outside in the cold while the others in our party had a look around.
It was annoying as we have taken our dog into pubs, restaurants and nursing homes yet he was banned from a dogs home. Beggars belief.
M. H.We rescued our little poppy in November 2016. The staff couldn't have been more caring, helpful and loving to all their animals. Our experience with everyone surpasses our expectations. I recommend that anyone who wants to adopt a rescue dog to go there.
C. E.What a wonderful charity. Fantastic set up and such kind staff. We take a collection for the dogs on a regular basis and see them beings well cared for and plenty of people supporting.
C. T.We've been to CDH a number of times to drop off donations and to enquire about a little sibling for our dog once he's matured. The staff there are superb and take amazing care of the animals in their care. If you're ever in the area, drop a bag of dry food off and see for yourself :)
K.What a great service! Came here to get a new cat. The staff were cagey at first but offered me a unusual looking cat who barked. They explained that the barking and his proclivity towards eating dog food was caused by feline autism and wasn't a concern. Me and my cat Rex couldn't be happier..

B. n.The new building is very welcoming, there is a side section quite out of view which looks like it needs some updating, I enquired about a dog at reception and another member of staff just stood shaking her head and another said we were not suitable, which I think shows they care about finding the right home for the dog, just a bit rude to just shake your head, I hope all the lovely dogs there manage to find a good home there is a few long timers in so anyone looking for a pooch get over there.
k.Had a great day out at their fun day, the dogs always seem well cared for and happy. We got our dog here 13 years ago and never had any problems.
