Highly recommended. Both my children 14 and 7 enjoy attending fudoshin. My daughter started at the club six years ago followed by my son a few years later, All the sessions are age appropriate. Mark is firm but fair, if you’re looking for a club for your child to learn invaluable self defence and discipline then this is the place to go. I myself have even attended one of the many parent sessions he holds, which are also enjoyable.

Brilliant club for both adults and children. Mark Thomas is an exceptional instructor who focuses on technique, discipline and building confidence. My son has attended the club for a number of years and it has greatly improved his fitness levels as well as teaching him excellent techniques in self defence.

I decided to move my boys to Fudoshin Jujitsu from another Jujitsu company. I am so happy that I did, Mark actually teaches discipline. In both classes, you can clearly see that all the children respect their Sensei. As well as building their confidence, the self defence being taught is so amazing to watch. The classes are calm and disciplined. When they joined Fudoshin, i told Mark about the first group my boys were with (which had an aggressive, fight mentality, even for my younger sons class age 5)... he said "there are never bad students... just bad teachers" Could not recommend this class enough!

I highly recommend this martial art club. My children have been members there for a few years now and have grown confident within themselves. They are both physically fitter, stronger and aware of their surroundings. Both my children go to Fudoshin. Mark is an excellent teacher who brings the best out in his students. The self defence skills they have learned have been invaluable; the oldest has dealt effectively with more than one bully during his school years. There was no question about the youngest joining when he was old enough.
