d. w.I've been going here since October last year and they all make you welcome no one judges you the staff are brilliant they make you a cuppa you can sit and relax or depends if anyone is doing crafts on the craft table met loads of new friends. And I feel like I've got a lot more confidence. Get your self down down kyra a brilliant place place it's like one big happy family and everybody's welcome
L. B.Kyra is an outstanding organisation which supports women to make change. It is independent and for women only and offers a safe and welcoming space. All the staff are volunteers. There are drop in sessions from 1pm-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturday shared lunches once a month but if you would like to have a look round and find out more, why not try coming to one of the special Monday afternoon 'New Member' sessions? Members have access to a range of activities and support services which are mostly free. Donations are always very welcome though. Currently, there is a drama group working with the Theatre Royal on a production of The Suffragettes, a gardening group which has created an edible courtyard garden, jewellery making workshops, art classes, poetry group, 1-2-1 Counselling, reflexology, courses aimed at women affected by domestic abuse, assertiveness training, yoga, cookery classes, antenatal workshops, computer workshops, financial coaching, legal advice, and reiki.
Kyra is non-judgemental, friendly and open and welcomes all women.
M. B.Kyra offers an excellent service to women, it is a safe space where I always feel welcome. The wonderful volunteers are always available to chat and offer practical and emotional support when needed.
