Started this class when my little girl was around 13 months and seeing her develop across the weeks has been AMAZING! Originally I thought it may be too much to teach a 13 month old "phonics" but its all about having fun, dancing, moving and shaking around, learning new motor skills, interacting with other kids, watching the other kids and learning new things weekly. Sam is the BEST class leader and she puts her heart and soul into every session making it so much fun for both the kids and adults. The classes change each week and they are so engaging to be a part of - now, even when I mention Robot Reg at home, my little girl rolls her arms around which is part of the intro welcome song and gives me the hugest smile! We LOVE Thursdays and cant wait for them to come around each week so we can come to the class! The BEST class I have found in the area - THANKS Sam ... you're fab! 🙂

We've just started our second block of 'Minis' classes and they are fantastic. My 22 month old looks forward to seeing Robot Reg and Sam all week. The classes are engaging, educational, and most importantly, lots of fun! Sam brings different activities each week which focus on a different sound, along with pom poms, shakers, music and disco lights! I've tried a few different classes/groups in York and this is definitely my favourite, I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to start a new class with their little one.

My son attended Sam's classes in the lead up to starting pre school and he and I both thought they were fantastic! The classes were really engaging and Sam's enthusiasm was infectious, all the children loved her. Every session was jam packed with fun, educational activities and my Son started preschool with such a great understanding of phonics and sounds that his teachers were amazed. I can't recommend these classes enough ❤️🤖

We have been attending the Mini's class since Sept 2020 and have really enjoyed them and will definitely continue with them! The classes are run really well, with lots of activities and variation to keep little ones engaged. Find my toddler singing the songs and repeating the phonics sounds outside of class. We have also done online classes during lockdown and was just as fun and engaging as if in person. Sam is an excellent class lead and makes every session different.

My 3 year old absolutely loves Sam and Robot Reg. We've been attending for almost a year now and Sam is absolutely amazing at engaging the whole class and making learning fun! The class has also really helped to improve the clarity of my son's speech. If we can't understand what he's saying he can now break the words down and sound them out to us. We're so glad we found Sam's class.

Both my boys (2 and 4) love these classes, Sam is really engaging and the classes are great fun. My eldest did the pre-school sessions, he loved learning about letters and sounds and I think it helped with his confidence when he started school. My youngest finds the classes really good fun and he's delighted by all the dancing and energy, I don't even think he notices he's learning.

My daughter has been attending the phonic classes since she was 2, (shes now nearly 4). The classes have always been so fun and educational, my daughters speech and reading is amazing for her age and i know its due to the classes. Sam is lovely and is amazing with the children. Definitely recommend.

This has fast become my 3 year olds favourite class. It’s a fantastic mix of sounds, both spoken and written down, dancing, Pom Poms and all manner of easy to follow actions. It’s fun, engaging and welcoming and has meant my August baby will be going to school in September being able to read short words which is amazing. Sam is genuinely fantastic and was unbelievable during lockdown incorporating siblings and keeping the sessions going!
