D. H.For our recent house move, we commissioned Howell & Co to carry out the necessary conveyancing work, and this was conducted by Mr Roland Gibbins. I must say from the outset, Roland proved an exemplary representative for Howell & Co and provided a prompt, professional, and patient service throughout the nine-month duration of the move.
Due to various complications within the chain, several delays occurred in establishing contract exchange and completion dates. This was exacerbated by a repeated lack of communication by certain conveyancers/solicitors within the chain. It might be supposed to be self-evident and automatic that each professional involved in a house move would fully understand their client’s requirements, communicate necessary information where needed, and expedite matters unprompted. Seemingly, this is not universally so, but Roland proved proactive and effective in promoting better understanding and co-operation between various professionals, established our particular requirements regarding exchange and completion dates, and handled a restrictive covenant for us efficiently and in good time. Additionally, Roland provided sound advice to us throughout the process.
In short, Roland worked hard on our behalf, did his best to smooth and expedite the process, and made a significant contribution to concluding what proved to be a protracted and complicated move. Consequently, I will not hesitate in future to recommend Howell & Co and, in particular, Roland, to anyone requiring their services.
