This was an incredibly difficult process and I felt that Sam throughout was pro-active and able to explain the issues to me in a way which I could understand. Everything was dealt with promptly and Sam always seemed to be on the ball and doing anything that sat with her almost immediately, Sam managed everything within her power to an exceptional standard but she also managed me, which I assure you was no easy task at times (apparently, it turns out I am a control freak!) Anytime I contacted Sam I got a response quickly and it was informative and very helpful. Louise was also fantastic in her support, particularly on a tricky completion day! Overall I suspect I wouldn’t be sat typing this review in a new house if we had a different solicitor, I Would highly recommend them.

Our solicitor and the Countrywide portal made it super easy to upload documents, send messages and view progress or tasks requiring our attention. Even better, we got text alerts if anything new popped up. There was a bit of delay before a solicitor was assigned but this was due to the rush of sellers and buyers caused by stamp duty issues. I would use them again for value and service. Love the ability to view the portal for myself, day or night and that really helped get our sale done in time.

The original buyer couldn’t go ahead, the second was very slow - ( a whole month was lost) - in the end the original purchaser stepped in. Gemma and Samantha at countrywide have both been great, so friendly and helpful and always getting back to me in a timely fashion. They have been patient with my many questions asked and always helped me out. They have been helpful with me never having been through this process to be able to explain any questions and things I didn't understand. Whilst I have had limited involvement with solicitors in property I have used others before for buying my property and then changing deeds at Land registry, I didn't have a great experience and my biggest frustration with them was never being able to get hold of anyone or them taking ages to get back to me. This was the opposite with Gemma and Samantha, they always got back to me straight away which gave me great confidence in their work. Countrywide Conveyancing Services were suggested to us by their associated estate agents, Dixons in Kidderminster. It was only after we agreed to use them that I looked at online reviews. I cannot believe we were all using the same company. Please note, however, I was directed to the Manchester office not Cardiff Dean and Hayley were our solicitor and assistant. I found them to be friendly, professional and efficient. I had no difficulty in contacting them by phone . On the couple of occasions they were not available, I left a message and received a callback. The property was sold by and completion took place within 4 months. CCS use an online portal for each client and this was excellent. Documents, messages and queries were all sent through the portal and I received both a text and email whenever there was something new for my attention. I was also able to complete documents and return them through the portal unless a signed document was required (e.g. the contract). It was still sent to me through the portal but I returned it by post. I have not been asked by CCS to submit a review and, in fact, I rarely give reviews. However, I have been so pleased with the services of both CCS and Dixons that I felt it necessary to thank them publicly.
