Together with my sister, we became my late nieces' executors of her estate. This has proved to be extremely - contentious!! My sister's daughter works in a different Solicitors and suggested Angel's to us and we asked them to represent us to which they agreed. From the very first contact I have found them to be highly efficient, have without failure kept to any timings they have put forward and are proving to be knowledgeable to the highest degree. Efficiencey: Angel's are based in Coventry, where my sister lives but I reside in Devon - this has not proved any problem for correspondence or contact. Timings: for example - having soken to Angels one morning of a proposed letter - in the afternoon I received a confirming email and the next morning had a hard copy - timing and efficient! Knowledge: clearly knowledge of the law but also (and I hope this does not sound condescending in any way - as it certainly is not intended!) an ability to read between the lines and see the way forward. You can do as much research you want but he really took the time to explain each stage of the process. A very professional service was provided to me when I purchased my first home via Angels. The process was well explained to me, and I received regular communication from my solicitor throughout the purchase.

Problems occurred at the very beginning with the executors of my fathers’ will. It was at the very beginning of the Covid lockdown and everywhere I made enquiries closed me down and refused to take on new cases. I believe now that eventually this was a positive thing as I could not have asked for better from Mr Kesic and his team. I (and my brother) were not beneficiaries of my fathers will, he was a very difficult character, he had abandoned us as children and left us behind and fallen out with us years previously. He left his money to our children(his grandchildren) but put his step-granddaughter and her wife as executors (I believe knowing the trouble it would cause, he revelled in causing bad feelings and rows.) She was to benefit solely from his wife’s inheritance which equaled his monies). It wasn’t long before this proved the case. My brother and I protected our children from him and his step-family who were equally toxic. We were the only people who could understand what would probably come. I took control of the case on their behalf, though I was worried i would not be taken seriously, but Mr Kesic treated me with the utmost respect and care, believed and understood (or appeared to) what I said to him. Between us we had little money to fight the executors, but Mr Kesic helped us in the best way he could. I can’t have asked for better advise. It’s not fully finished yet, but he stopped a bad injustice from happening en route. I cannot praise him and his assistants Rebecca Marriott and Caitlin Boyle enough throughout and during Covid which made everything even more difficult. Thanks to you all!
