Cannot recommend this firm highly enough, especially Jo Vickers who dealt with our first time buy. She was exceptional and guided us through each and every step making sure we understood. We gave her a completion time of 6-8 weeks which she smashed, despite there being plenty of frustrating times with our sellers. Nothing was ever too much trouble, emails and phone calls were always anserwed mostly within the hour, never had to chase her for anything. She is a true credit to this firm and if it matters to you, it matters to them. I wish i could say i would use them again in the future but can safely say we'll never be doing this process again but would certainly recommend them to anyway who wants a decent, honest and fast moving firm to deal with their conveyancing needs. I was concerned when I saw the previous Google reviews, warning of ripping off etc, but I honestly didn't experience any of this. I found Beighton's helpful and informative when selling/buying my house, it was another Derby firm representing my buyers that were the problem. Money was fair and today I even got home to a cheque for £125 from Beightons for 'overpayment of mortgage'. I was actually really taken aback with the honesty (for I wouldn't have known anything about this owed money) which is what made me write this review. In summary, Beighton's aren't the most polished looking solicitor firm (the office is a bit tired, not too welcoming etc) but I had a thoroughly positive experience with them, thought the fees were entirely reasonable...and I will 100% be using them for any other legal needs I have in the future. I would be more than happy to recommend them.

Cannot fault this company, they are very thorough in what they do. Even though they might be found to be a little bit nosy, it is for your benefit. I have given them 5 stars for the service that I received but if you have bad knees like myself then the stairs are a bit of a pain to climb.

Thought the service was ok only problem was that they had made an error with something that they had missed off from the total balance after paying all the deposit and for everyones services thought everything was finnished then once moved get an email saying they forgot to add the policy fees meaning weve had to spend an extra £238 errors like this shouldnt occur as would have been much more satisfied if they had got it right the first time
