I used Lever Law for two simultaneous but unconnected property transactions. As one of mum’s attorney I felt the pressure and stress of ensuring that her house sale went through smoothly. I needn’t have worried. Grace is great at communicating and kept me updated throughout the sale. Everything was explained in an easy to understand manner and questions were always answered thoroughly. Grace also strikes a great balance between utmost professionalism and friendly approachability. The second transaction was dealt with by Dale. Dale understood that we needed clear clarification regarding some issues about the house without which we couldn’t proceed with the purchase. He gave us good advice and recommendations, and he tracked down the information that we required. Dale is knowledgeable and patient. His emails were thorough, precise and clear. The law firm is a relatively small unit of people and that meant that I always knew who I was speaking with and they knew me and the history of communications. Lever Law are professional, efficient, friendly and well priced. Why wouldn’t you work with them?!

I recently used Lever Law for buying my first home with my partner in Durham. They were professional, quick and responsive when dealing with our enquiries. I cannot fault their quick turn-arounds when the pressure is on and doing everything they can when deadlines become tight. My only slight criticism is that as a first-time buyer, I felt that we could have really used some additional advice as we were of course somewhat naïve to the whole process, which would have avoided a last-minute delay. Some extra tips early on or occasional prompts for first-timers about wait times for Lifetime ISA pay-outs would be great. Similarly, some advice about what needs to be done to meet a proposed completion date to ensure the last week or two isn't as hectic. Overall, very happy with their work and would recommend to anyone looking to buy a house!

My wife and I used Lever Law in the early summer for a house sale and purchase. Our local solicitor had to pull out for technical reasons and our estate agent suggested Lever Law. This was lucky for us, as although they were a little further away geographically, that mattered not a jot and the process went really very well. We were steered through a high pressure period - May/June 2021 during a surge in house moves because of the stamp duty waiver. The whole process was navigated in just over 7 weeks which was impressive. there were no glitches from the solicitor side. They were the only solicitors we spoke to who suggested that the short transaction time. might actually be do-able. Other firms were much more negative in their outlook, which was engaging from our end, given a major potential saving The telephone and emails were always answered promptly, professionally and cheerily which was a bonus! Conveyancing fees were no more than average, for what felt like a well above average service. We were very happy with the whole transaction, so well done Lever Law - specifically in our case to Grace and to Dale. Would I use them again - absolutely!
