I would positively recommend Lockings, I work abroad in Nigeria and had my heart set a property but failed to get a mortgage at the last minute because of where I work, we then decided to buy a property for cash and we fell in love with a old public house which was up for Auction, we would pay half and my mother would pay half as she is moving in with us, As it happens three months before we were to complete my mothers buyers dropped out, we decided to auction my mothers house and get a bridging loan on both properties after two and a half months in fact a week before we were due to complete, the bridging company pulled out with no reason given, we were going to lose the property because my mother's cash would not be in the bank until ten days later, Locking contacted the sellers Lawyers and explained the situation and struct a deal of paying interest and compensation for missing the completion date and ten days later we moved into our new residence, the BC group were wonderful throughout kept in touch by e-mail and while I was falling apart thinking I would never get another property in the UK they just took everything in their stride, nothing seemed to phase them and moved on to the next problem. This has been the most stressful thing I have every done and I think without the BC Teams understanding and support I think I would have given up and been in a real legal mess right now.

Quality Solicitors Lockings Hull were recommended by Estate Agents in East London, in February 2016, to carry out the conveyancing for us in the purchase of a leasehold flat. After a shaky start with poor communication from Lockings, Stephen Dettman, Senior Technical Solicitor, took over our file. Since then Stephen has been fantastic, sorting out the legal side of our purchase including ensuring that the three leases titles involved , some of which were incorrect and out of date at times of previous sales of the flat, are all now correct. He has also overseen the legal negotiations of a new lease extension for us. At all times he has been exceptionally professional and has worked very hard on our behalf for over a year, dealing with other solicitors and agencies with great efficiency. He has been very proactive and always had deadlines firmly under control, dealing with things well in advance. The whole process has seemed very complicated to us, but Stephen has always made himself available and taken the time to explain, with great patience (often more than once), everything to us in detail by phone and email.
