My wife and I this week finished a lengthy application process in order to allow her to stay in the UK with a residency permit. Everyone at Immigration Legal Services that I spoke to always conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism and always seemed to have our best interests at heart. No better example of this is was when we were about to apply last October: Angela realised that due to a miscommunication error one key fact had been left out, and she was worried that if we continued down this path it would result in the visa being declined. She herself admitted that she wasn't 100% certain it would be declined, but decided to let us know anyway (which I greatly appreciate). Instead, we decided to pursue a different route (which resulted in another 6 month wait) that was far more likely to produce the desired result. Now, unlike some lawyers, Angela did not charge us anything additional to do this - the fee we paid the first time was enough. Also, due to the 6 month addition to our application period for the visa everything was, unfortunately, caught up in the COVID-19 pandemic. This did delay things further, but Angela was constantly watching the latest updates and guidelines as they came out - keeping us updated to the best of her ability (and dealing with my questions and nerves!). She did her best to keep her knowledge current during an unprecedented and stressful time and succeeded expertly. Now I must say, going into this we knew we could have done the application ourselves, but for such a daunting (and expensive) task we thought it best to have a professional on our side. I had never used a lawyer before and was quite aware of the stereotypes, so I did a lot of searching around and speaking to different companies. Angela came personally recommended to us from a friend, and now I'd like to pass on that recommendation to anyone who might be reading this review. Angela Cole and everyone at Immigration Legal Services will work to produce the best outcome for you and, from our experience, they only concern themselves with your goal and not your wallet. Immigration Legal Services' charge was a very good price for all the help and security they provided, when I say the visa was expensive I want to make it clear I meant the governmental charges. Thank you very much again, Angela (and Karen for relaying my constant questions!). We can breathe a sigh of relief now that the process is all over. I don't look forward to beginning it anew in two and a half years, but I do feel confident that we now have a trusted company to return to for aid during that time. Besides, everything always easier the second time around anyway!

Two and a half years later we applied for ILR. A week later after receiving the ILR we applied for my husband's Citizenship. Then six (6) months later Citizenship was approved. ILS was recommended to me by a friend who had a successful case. My husband had a long immigration history with a different company who where really just interested in taking our money. Applications after applications had been refused. Finally i persuaded my husband to go to ILS where we met Angela Cole and immediately i was impressed with the advice she gave. On the second visit we met Sallie who would be taking our case on, my husband returned to his birth country after 17 years in UK (his status was a person liable to be detained). After so long in England there was alot of paperwork to go through by an immigration company who had badly advised us but Sallie managed to put together a very strong case. Unfortunately our application was refused, 320(11). It was always a possibility this might of happened.
