I am delighted with the service I have received from Aitkens in particular working with Lynne. Unfortunately going through a separation with children involved is hard enough emotionally, never mind the legal minefield that it comes with. Even after my first telephone call with Lynne, I felt a weight had been lifted and that I had made the right choice of solicitor.
Lynne is clearly an expert in these matters, and this came across from the start. My case is more complex than others, but Lynne has guided me through the entire process.
I think to have trust in your solicitor is incredibly important and to know they have your best interests at heart. I trust Lynne implicitly and having spoken to other people and heard horrendous stories, they all say I am lucky to have such a solicitor.
My experience working with Aitkens and Lynne has been incredibly positive and both come highly recommended.

Before working with Lynne, I had spoken to many solicitors who only seemed interested in immediately making contact with my ex-wife rather than discussing my financial and personal situation. Thankfully Lynne took the time to consider my full situation, the reason for the breakup and the desired end goal.
Now; these situations are very, very stressful and emotionally draining from beginning to end. Over a short period of time, I learned to fully trusted Lynne to act in the children and I’s best interest. Although we could not control the other sides actions etc, Lynne always responded accurately, promptly and straight to the point.
I initially found the experience quite intimidating and wanted to lead the case a certain route, I soon realised that I was not the expert and how I felt emotionally clouded my judgment and more often than not, irrelevant. Lynne knows how the system works and she amazing at knowing how to respond or how to lead the case so let her do her thing.
I will now be using Aitkens for all my legal work due to the great service they provide. Trust me when I say, you would much rather Lynne was work for you rather then Lynne being the opposing solicitor.
