G. H.Bhatt Murphy fought hard from start to finish on my legal case, they made me feel involved and was very sensitive to the emotional state that I found myself in from start to finish on a case that was extremely complex. The police killed my partner, Anthony Grainger, in an armed operation that was based on false and wholly mis-leading evidence. I do not think we would have uncovered as many truths during the inquest had Bhatt Murphy not been there (in particular Tony Murphy).
L. L.Bhatt Murphy represented me in challenging the police who had misused a law against me. I spoke to several high profile lawyers initially, all of whom admitted what had happened to me was wrong, but all of whom were sure we couldn't make a case, let alone win.
But Bhatt Murphy were extremely positive and sure we had a case from the outset. They were kind, informative and hard working, helping me gain the correct legal aid and with a determination and thoroughness that made the whole process far less daunting than it could have been.
I am so grateful that not only did they take on my case, but that we won with a result that astonished everyone.
I cannot recommend or speak highly enough of this firm, whose strongly held belief that justice should be for everyone, not just the rich and powerful, was present the entire way through our time working together.

The Charity inquest linked us to Bhatt Murphy - specifically Tony Murphy and I cannot ever thank him enough. Bhatt Murphy solicitors played an integral role in an inquest process which highlighted multiple failings and resulted in a public apology by the Metropolitan police, they then went onto help us to achieve accountability which then resulted in Restorative justice. M. C. G.Bhatt Murphy have represented me and my family since 2017 in relation to the car bomb assassination of my mother, the Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, on 16 October of that year. It has been the most difficult time imaginable for us. There is no handbook for dealing with a situation like that and after years of abuse, we were more unsure of our rights than we should have been. Tony Murphy, together with the barristers he instructed at Doughty Street Chambers, Caoilfhionn Gallagher, Jonathan Price and Jen Robinson, helped us find a path towards justice, successfully advocating for the start of a public inquiry into the circumstances of my mother's assassination and providing crucial advice that led to the removal of deputy police commissioner who, we later found, was a friend of the person now charged with having commissioned the assassination.
S. H.A few years ago my case was taken on by Bhatt Murphy and I can't rate my experience highly enough. My solicitor not only won my case but whilst doing so treated me with respect and kindness. More recently I have had cause to contact them again. Unfortunately my case doesn't come under their remit . Even so, the solicitor I spoke with has been extremely helpful and (once again) extremely kind. This goes a long way for those of us unused to the legal world.
C. O.I think the previous bad review is a bit ill-informed. This small firm brought one of the most important cases in Human Rights of the last decade to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, Vinter v the UK, in relation to life imprisonment, incurring what I can see in the case, huge expenses. The Court only awarded half of it. The legal profession has a lot to thank them.

As I mention I am going to ask BM once again if they can assist in what involves potential police corrupted, undoubtetly non disclore of exculpatory evidence, TWICE, and potential malicious prosecution.
I will not edit this review but I will say now, I predict the answer as it always seems to be the standard reply to not take on a case , will be:
'we have considered it carefully, but do not haver capacity'
I will edit this post with details and a star rating based on that reply when i have.my answer.

17th December 2018 - A response.
At least this time it wasn't 'no capacity' and they explained why they would not take the case as they did not think there was evidence for malicious prosecution, which I can see myslf is true.
My main concern however is that no firm appears to be interested in holding the police to account when they do something wrong, either accidentally or on purpose, and because of this other cases which should be re-examined currently will not be, meaning innnocent people may have had their lives wrecked.
