I would like to thank Will Whittaker and the Bindmans team for legally aided assistance in getting my elderly relatives moved to a better care home. This involved the Court of protection and we were the lone voice against LB Brent, the official solicitor, the solicitors representing my aunt and uncle (as they had no capacity), the GP, the psychiatrist and another relative who is a solicitor (and at times felt like we were also fighting the Judge)! However really expert advice helped get the right result in the end. They went well beyond the call of duty. and I'm not a person easily impressed. Also thanks to our excellent counsel Nicola Kohn.
