Tony Shergill was "parachuted" into a complicated and unusual case at the stage of judicial review by a friend who was a barrister advising me but who was unable to appear at the High Court hearing. Tony was the only solicitor who didn't get scared by the complexity of the arguments in the case involving contract law and acted with hours to spare to organize representation at the hearing. Two things impressed me in particular: when he found himself dropped in the middle of a hopeless case, unlike most other solicitors, he was willing to fight till the end as well as that from the beginning, he acted more like an old family friend who was concerned about the outcome of the case rather than an ordinary solicitor although we didn't know each other before. I am planning to use his services in other matters and, I have no hesitation in recommending him to friends.
