Haringey Law centre truly helped me out in my time of need. I was stuck living in a bedsit for 16 and a half years, with no help and no hope. despite being in the middle of the lockdown, they helped me through it all. Thalia was my legal representative, and she was amazing. It took a year or so due to then pandemic and everything being done by phone and email, but they won my case against the housing office, and I was housed less than 3 months after the decision. I now live in a great one bedroom flat in a nice area. I am forever thankful to the Haringey Law centre and Thalia as it really was the last chance saloon for me. The whole service was free, they are awesome!

I was my first time visiting. I was blown away with the kindness of the people that works there.. I was really expecting so much food. They gave choices, of what you would like and eat. They enquire about the household if children would like to participate in music lessons, cooking activities etc. It was brilliant all round. Very excellent 👏👌.

I just wanted to write this review to say what a lovely experience I had with Haringey Law Centre. my friend has had problems with his job when he was unfairly Let Go. I accompanied him many times to Haringey Law Centre for help and advice. Ruth his advisor has given us a lot of advice concerning filling in legal paper work as well as information concerning my friends rights and Employment Laws and what to do next. We have both found her to be very helpful and kind and considerate and also she has given us a lot of advice which has helped us very much. I would recommend her and Haringey Law Centre to anyone who needs help.

Haringey Law Centre deserves 5 stars for their brilliant work. I had fantastic help from Haringey Law Centre on many occasions, Christopher is brilliant and very helpful and professional, Chris has helped my sister and myself. When my sister have had problems with Council tax, Housing benefit or rent issues. We always recommend our friends, family and other people to Haringey Law Centre if they have any problems because Christopher and all the other staff are brilliant, they are always willing to help me when I need help, Chris always make time for me even when he is busy. I am having issues with my work and I was unfairly sacked. I am also getting help from Ruth who is one of the advisors, she has helped my to sort out my issues with Employment Laws and my rights as a worker and she has helped me to fill in forms and legal papers. Ruth has given me a lot of good advice and has been helping me to sort out my problem. I would highly recommend Ruth, Christopher and all the other members of staff as a great place to go for help and get advice. They are friendly always very helpful and willing to help and they will see me even if I do not have an appointment.

In the Haringey Law Centre I have found the best experience ever regarding the service. I found that everyone was nice with me and in particular the solicitor that helped me in my case, her name is Ruth, she was not only professional and dedicate but even listening and willing to help in a truly way. Very nice experience!

I have an Employment Tribunal case pending. The advice received from the Law Centre has been excellent, I feel comfortable seeking advice from the centre when required. I totally recommend Haringey Law Centre. I certainly feel more at ease in representing myself at my Tribunal hearing. The building is not adequate however the visits are short. My heart goes out to the staff that has to work in that environment daily.

I would like to thank Haringey Law Centre especially Christopher for helping me and my mother with a very difficult case, Christopher went with my mother in court and helped her win the case. I've been going to Haringey Law Centre for more than 1 year with my partner. Our experience has been great so far. My partner needed employment advice, Ruth H. is handling his case and she's great; very professional, knowledgeable in employment law and rights. Most importantly, she is very kind and caring, always wants the best for us. Some people get a job for money but Ruth works with her heart and soul, we couldn't get any better. Ruth has now converted me, I want to give something back to this charity. I will soon sign up to volunteer/be HLC's Champion. All of you people using their services, please keep in mind that HLC has around 8 staff who work tirelessly with limited resources for this deprived Tottenham community & for people like us to access free legal advice. Even making a cup of coffee/tea will help those dedicated staff like my Ruth to do what they do best. Instead of complaining about how the office looks bad, why don't we get together and clean it, give it a new makeover? At the end of the day we're the one queuing & sitting there. Keep up the great work Ruth, we love and appreciate you!
