I can't praise Lacey St James and Catriona McGregor enough for the professional and sensitive way they dealt with my late husband's case against his former employer. Our wonderful son Danny was paralysed from the neck down following a spine operation in 2017 and has been left with numerous medical issues relating to his spinal cord injury. Richard and his team have secured Danny a settlement which gives us the most important thing in the world - peace of mind when it comes to his financial future. Richard has just e mailed us to confirm the settlement and his message ends with this sentence - 'I appreciate that no amount of compensation will ever change what has happened, but I am so pleased that we have recovered a settlement that will ensure Danny can receive the care, rehabilitation and equipment needs to ensure all his needs will be met'. I must admit this sentence bought a lump to my throat - not just that it signals we are coming to the end of an emotionally challenging legal journey, but that Richard had the humanity to understand no compensation can change what happened to our amazing son.
