It took me 63 days to get my Global Talent Visa from the time I reached out to them for an inquiry, and finally to the day I got my BRP. It was a struggle when I tried to process my application alone, but they gave thorough advise, provided tools and templates, and helped each step of the application process to ensure I'm in the position to get the visa. Having told them of my timelines, they were very quick to respond and provided all the necessary assistance I can get. We recently suffered a miserable experience with UKVI refusing Spouse and Dependent Children visas. Our case was fairly complex. We arranged an online chat, and Alexandra and Alex very quickly grasped the nature of situation and exact reasons for our refusal. For every interaction they had clearly done their homework and taken the time to read lengthy documents prior to our meeting. We submitted an appeal to the refusals and subsequently submitted a clean sheet application. The appeal process was a frustratingly slow, and the Appeals Tribunal and UKVI repeatedly missed deadlines. However, we pushed our team hard to make very tight deadlines. I was particularly impressed when the team worked late on Friday night before a bank holiday weekend to get a new application in as soon as possible. Subsequently, when extra work was required due to a request from the Entry Clearance Officer, they competed this with no further charge. All communications were quick and emails responded to very rapidly. We received an excellent service with which we were very happy and ultimately resulted in us being granted the visas we needed, after an initial refusal, on a very tight timescale. Of course, this level of service and professionalism comes at a price. Ensure you understand the fees you will need to pay for every step of the process. Their billing was a fixed price per stage and very clear, but our understanding of the process and steps where a new agreement would be required was not so great. We would highly recommend Alexandra Pease and Alex Papasotiriou ably assisted by other Barristers when the workload was as its peak. Also Bernie Wood did an awesome job of liaising with us late into the night to actually get the applications submitted. With hindsight, we wish we had used a lawyer to submit the initial application as it is clear, UKVI are more than happy to refuse applications that would appear to be simple. I can’t thank Richmond Chambers enough for their help! 2 years ago, I was in a very difficult situation having to divorce my husband. I depended on him for my spouse visa and still was 1.5 years until I could apply for ILR. As my passport was a Citizen of Ukraine one, I had no hope to continue my life in UK. I must start my review with a big thanks to Mr Alexis Slatter, who professionally represented our mother’s case to the Tribunal and who, we are in no doubt, is well versed with the Immigration laws. Myself and my wife are a both working class couple and like the most of us, we did our research looking for the best Immigration firm to represent our mother’s case. Our case was not straight forward and we knew, if not represented by a professional, it could end drastically wrong. We gathered some names from the internet, and even from the so called Asian TV migration channels, and only after first few consultations with some of them Law firms we understood that it was a jungle out there. 'Yes we will win this case', was the most common reply we received from many of them and most of them didn't knew what they were talking about, with no clarifications and explanations of how and what grounds they will proceed this case. With our further internet searches, the name of Richmond Chambers highlighted and reading their strong 5* google ratings & reviews, we were inclined to make our first appointment with Mr Alexis Slatter, in his Covent Gardens office. In our first and only meeting before the hearing with Alexis, he shared his versatile knowledge of Immigration laws in relation to our mother’s case. He also informed us our chances and the risks of loosing this case which was crucial for us to know, as at the time we needed to know where do we stand. With this information we knew exactly what our options were, and who is to, if anyone was going to represent us in front the Tribunal Judge against the Home Office. During the next two years of preparation, our mode of communication with Alexis was through the emails and posts. “Richmond Chambers, One of the Best and very professional Service Provider” I am very much happy and thankful to Mr. Paul Richmond and Ms. Lydia Watton. I have contacted Richmond Chambers after we won our appeal in First Tier tribunal for ILR but still Home Office granted us Limited Leave to Remain for 30 months by ignoring Immigration judge’s verdict. We were really very much confused and tensed. I approached Richmond Chambers and asked for an appointment with Mr. Paul Richmond. I have provided all required documents via email. Our first meeting last only for 15-20 mins but Mr. Richmond was well prepared and explained me in detailed all possible options. I was satisfied with his professional approach and the way he discussed all scenarios. We agreed that he will write letters to Home Office explaining their decision is incorrect and asked us to grant ILR. We didn’t receive any reply from the Home Office, so he explained me the procedure for Judicial Review. First we send Pre-Action protocol letter and asked Home Office to get back to us within 7 days or else we will go for judicial review proceedings. Again we haven’t receive any response from Home Office, so me and my wife were really very much nervous and decided not to go for judicial review though Mr. Richmond was very confident that our case will not go for full hearing but as said we were scared and as the procedure is very costly and lengthy; we have decided not to go further. But with all surprise, I have received a letter from Home Office that they are willing to look at our file again and within 3 days Home Office sent a letter to Mr. Richmond saying they have made mistake in determining Immigration judge’s decision and are happy to grant us ILR. This was really big relief for me and my family. This has become reality only because of kind of letters written by Mr. Richmond. Now, we have submitted our Biometric Cards to Richmond Chambers to send back to Home Office and waiting for new ones to come with ILR. I strongly recommend him for all Immigration related issues.

Excellent service!!!! I have came to England in 2005 with my German Husband who is self employed. I have been applying for the permanent residency since 2010 and got refused 3 times. Our case was quite complicated because of the mishandling of earlier lawyers. We had applied, appealed and almost exhausted all avenues including the appeal rights. We were getting desperate and losing hope. Under these circumstances, my wife and I met Paul Richmond in 2011 to look into our case. He discussed all the legal aspects, pros and cons of the case and advised us accordingly. His advice was very professional, honest and straightforward. Due to limited financial means, we filed the case ourselves on Article 8 in 2012, which was again refused by Home Office. A pre-action protocol letter was prepared describing all the factors, which Home Office failed to consider. In response, finally Home Office granted us visa under Appendix FM, 7 years children continuous residence and outside the rules on the basis of family life. We also wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge Ms Gillian Mccall for her excellent help and support. She provided comprehensive guidance that helped us in preparation of all the documents according to the Home Office requirements. We found her very knowledgeable and capable as she dealt with all our queries in a very professional manner. My immigration history was not straightforward. It had been complicated by a divorce and a previous refusal of a Leave to Remain application. I had not anticipated falling in love again during what became a near 16 month wait for my Leave to Remain decision. I subsequently married again and my husband and I were devastated when my spouse visa application was refused: I was consequently suspected of entering into a ’sham marriage’. We submitted everything we could (i.e. bank statements, bills, photos, Facebook pages, contact records, over 15 witness statements from both our families and friends, an online petition of over 2,000 signatures and hundreds of supporting comments from all over the world, and lots of media coverage including three British National newspapers…) All of which failed to get the decision overturned. A court day was inevitable. At this stage, my husband and I had already been torn apart for nearly a year. In order to spend time with each other we had spent over 3K on flights and hotels. Paul helped me with a UK settlement visa for a half sibling following the death of both mother and father. We knew from the outset that this would be a difficult case. Paul guided me through the Application form and ensured I provided the relevant supporting evidences -even evidence that were not asked for. He was worth his weight in gold here. Last 7 years i been straggling for my twin daughters as they were living back home with my parents and i was living in the UK without them. A Brief of our case: Richmond Chambers accepted to represent us in May, for an appeal hearing due in September and notified HO by mid-May of them now representing us,( I and my wife truly believe this notification prompted,this next step), a reconsideration of a refusal for leave to remain which was over a year old was received in mid-June from the UKBA requesting also that certain documents be forwarded to UKBA within a certain time frame, the Chambers responded (on the 26th of July) with a legal submission of 28 pages along with the requested documents , and within 6 days (including a weekend) my wife was granted leave to remain, to be specific it was granted on the 1ST of this July and we write this on the 25th of July and we are still in a daze, a joyful daze.
