My friend recommended Simpson Millar to me and Heather Boyd and her team worked very professionally in the conveyancing of my house. They were very friendly, helpful and efficient and gave me plenty of support throughout the process. They were responsive to all my questions. The communication has been superb and I have been guided through the process perfectly. I would certainly recommend them and i will be using them again in future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we originally purchased our house we didn’t really understand the need for a good solicitor and our experience with another firm was awful, but fortunately this time round we was recommend to use Simpson Millar and request Jessica Griffiths. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with that we got this recommendation, because our sale/purchase was a bumpy ride, however it would have been a whole lot worse if it wasn’t for Jessica. Jessica was on the ball with absolutely everything and jumped through hoops to ensure that that we managed to secure our house. Thomas Schofield (and his assistant Greg) provided great service when handling the conveyancing for our recent South London house sale, whereby their quick, efficient and professional service enabled all aspects to go through in approximately 10 weeks from appointing Simpson Millar to our completion date at the end of March 2021. This also ensured that our buyer completed before the stamp duty holiday ended (even though the government subsequently extended the period for this). We are now using Simpson Millar again for our subsequent West Yorkshire house purchase, with Thomas and Greg once again handing our case (per our request), which will hopefully proceed in the same quick, efficient and professional manner as our house sale, which we also considered great value for money.

I contacted Esther Salter at Simpson Millar after having a horrific time dealing with my local authority about my sons EHCP and secondary school placement. I was dreading going through the appeal process. Esther and Amy were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. Very professional and understanding. Communication was consistent and clear throughout, with regular updates as to where we were in the appeals process and what would happen next. They took all the pressure off of me. My only regret is that I didn’t go to Esther years ago, when the problems with my sons EHCP started In primary school. My son is now attending a brilliant Sen school and has an EHCP that accurately describes his needs and the support he requires to access his education.
