i went to legal advice centre for so many issues especially housing matters but specially have to mention about solicitor muzzamel hussen he was really helpful and kind he was responding to all of my issues and solved each and every issues smoothly im very grateful to legal advice centre and i really appreciate them i would recommend everyone to go for any issues for help without any hesitations.

I've had a lot of help and support regarding my Tribunal for PIP and some help for esa Tribunal. I won both Tribunals! However, my forms were filled in by my Benefits Advisor from the Citizens Advice Bureau at my surgery.

I am very happy with the support the The Legal Centre (University House) provided. They done an amazing job to assist me with my housing related issue and responded to my query very quickly. Ewa Dunn was extremely helpful and provided very high quality advice and assistance. She went above and beyond to help me. I have now used the service at The Legal Centre (University House) a couple of times. Amirah Qadir dealt with my case recently. She was extremely helpful and understanding, yet remained very professional. The team are always very professional and provide amazing support. I will highly recommend them.

I contacted the Legal Advice Centre seeking help for my PIP tribunal and I received a truly amazing service despite the difficulties lockdown had/has imposed on the organisation. From the admin team to the legal representatives the service was professional, erudite and extremely responsive. As a disabled person I was treated with respect and dignity and every effort was made to accommodate my needs. I am also pleased to say that the appeal was allowed and no doubt the help I received from the Legal Advice Centre played a huge part in the outcome. Overall the entire team are a credit to the legal sector especially considering that they operate pro bono. Special thanks to Sorina, Adrienne, Dina and Jennie.

I took my mum to this place about three years ago to appeal against the decision of the Department for work and pension to stop my mum's benefit. With the help of a lovely lady by the name of Busra we won the case in the tribunal court. She was absolutely fantastic the way she dealt with my mum's case. She knew exactly what she was doing and was up to date with the rules and regulation regarding benefit. We had the same problem with my mum's benefit again this year and again she dealt with it. I don't know what I would have done without them. I tried to deal with it by myself once and made the situation worse for my mum, lol. I highly recommend this place.

I would firstly like to say that my experience was very positive,I went to several places to look for legal help and all I received was minimal effort from some of the free help services provided by the government ie citizens advice bureau,Toynbee hall,unless you have money no body wants to help.so when I found out about university house I was hopeful for a person like me who had no money not a lot of help and needed assistance in a legal matter they gave me a lot of support they went above and beyond I know that this organisations ethics are to help the people that need it the most ie the poor there should be more places like this the staff are very friendly I would particularly like to thank mr Jacob and miss busra and I would recommend university house legal advice to everyone who needs it.very friendly very supporting they deserve an accolade thank you for everything you helped me with god bless.

I couldn't recommend this place more! I was seen almost immediately after phoning & emailing them and then they gave me advise and help throughout my employment case (by Jacob A Fabowale Makinde). They are very fast on emails and whenever I needed to see them in person most of the time I could get an appointment for next day. They know what they're doing and are completely up to date regarding the different laws and rules. Thank you so much for your help!
