Sunil was brilliant from the word go. I found him to be very professional and his advice to me was spot on. He concentrated on just the one case that he is dealing with on that day which was mine. I would recommend him to anyone, as his knowledge of the road laws are exceptional.

Penalty Points Ban Avoided by arguing Exceptional Hardship!
I contacted Sunil after I received a Single Justice Procedure Notice and seeked some advice. I asked that he represent me in court. He explained the whole procedure making sure that I understood everything and was very helpful and polite and most of all very knowledgeable. Sunil was extremely professional when representing me in court and with his great defense I avoided a ban which would have caused me great difficulty trying to run my businesses! I was completely overjoyed with the outcome. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for advice for any motoring offences.

Speeding Guilty Plea - Ban avoided
Contacted Sunil after I received the Single Justice Procedure Notice. He was professional and gave his honest opinion. I requested him to represent me in court. He presented the defense very well and I could not have hoped for better outcome. I would strongly recommend anyone with motoring conviction to seek his expertise.

Sunil was incredible today, he got me a very reduced ban from a situation which was very serious. He knew all staff of the court and which made the court proceedings very smooth. I will recommend this man to anybody who has any traffic related offences.

Speeding Offence - Avoided Ban
I contacted Sunil after receiving notice of a speeding offence.
I had been caught doing 94mph on a 60mph limit road whilst rushing my daughter to the hospital for treatment after having a seizure. Sunil did an excellent job of presenting my defense and managed to prevent me from being issued a 56 day ban. Sunil advised that I gave a guilty plea with mitigating circumstances which was accepted so I received 6 points and a fine which was the best possible outcome. I feel without Sunil's help i would certainly of received a ban which would of strongly affected my business and career as a garage workshop owner.
Thanks again, Sunil.

From initial meeting to the day in court the whole process was conducted very professionally. Realistic outcomes were discussed , so I was well aware of the likely outcome, during the hearing Sunil presented my case to the magistrate in a very personal and professional manor , which I am sure resulted im my outcome being far better than I could of imagined. I highly recommend that if you are in a situation where your license is under threat of being taken away , then use KentTrafficLaw and have a realistic chance of having a better outcome than you feared.

Drink Driving / Crash
Sunil was amazing, was very professional and is everything you would want and need when in this position. Treated me as a human and very compassionate that helped me a lot.
I had no hope with my previous representative and got no response or any communication from them.
I was looking at a custodial sentence.
The Outcome was very successful.
Thank you so much Sunil

Drink Driving - Guilty Plea.
Reading was 95. Caught in the act.
I was initially hesitant to pay so much. I found it very hard to justify this.
The reason why went with Sunil was simply because he gave me honest advice free of charge, came across as genuine and most importantly gave logical reasoning.
Hard to see what is the right thing to do when emotionally charged but given the facts presented and above, the decision was made without hesitation or doubt.
I had spoken to several solicitors as anyone would do in my situation. Not one gave me any confidence. Most actually wanted me to try to defend myself although the facts in my case didn't make it seem like a wise approach.
Now seeing the result, I can see why it was worth it.
Sunil prides himself on transparency, integrity and takes an honest approach.
I am sincerely impressed with his intellect. The way he had methodically represented me made it hard to hold myself from smiling in court despite the circumstances.
I received the least of every aspect the court could have applied.
He is well-spoken, very efficient and effective in his work. I have nothing but praises. Always available via phone 7 days a week.
Never once I struggled to contact him. I in fact spoke to him on a Sunday when first in touch. He took his time with me!
The fee was upfront and inclusive of all the necessary work.
It's important to note that he is also a familiar face in court. I noticed he knew other solicitors that were walking around. It's super helpful as I believe from experience it commands a certain level of respect being of his calibre and experience.
Why contact a solicitor and see someone completely different in court?
Sunil is literally the only person you will be in touch with from start to finish. Best thing ever!
You will have a clear vision of what to expect rather than staring at endless possibilities.
I really hope this helps those that may find themselves in a similar situation.
There's only so much i can say here but what i will say is, once speaking with Sunil, the points made above will be fairly evident in conversation with him. ;)
Thank you again Sunil.
Sincere pleasure working with you.

Drink Driving - Guilty Plea. I run a carpentry business and my driving licence is an essential tool of my trade. When I was caught drinking and driving I knew that I would lose my licence but I wanted to ensure that the length of the ban was kept to the absolute minimum (given the circumstances of my case). I researched the matter and found Sunil Rupasinha specialised in this field. I had a consultation with him followed by the court hearing in which he represented me. His advice and representation was top notch. I was really pleased with the way he handled my case from start to finish which enabled me to obtain the result in court I sought. He puts in 100% effort. I thoroughly recommend his services.

Highly recommended service
True professional and knowledgeable on traffic law. This guy knows his stuff, be as upfront as you can be, Sunil will fight your corner for you. I would have been steamrolled if not for his fact that he outranked the prosecution and got me best result possible, and a truly nice gentleman to boot.

I can’t thank Sunil enough for all his help with my case. Sunil was very professional, empathetic and understanding of my situation. My fear was that I would receive a lengthy ban or potentially a disqualification. With Sunil’s help I walked away with a minimum ban and a driving course. I am pleased with this outcome as I’m aware it could have been a lot worse. I would highly recommend Sunil.

I was snapped doing 104 mph on the motorway and my case went to court. I instructed Sunil to defend me and he guided me through the whole process. Reliable, experienced and eloquent, you might not always like what he has to say but listen to him. 6 points and a fine much lower than I expected was the best outcome I could have hoped for.

Called Sunhil after receiving speeding notice and facing driving disqualification. Sunhil was very honest and straight with what could be the outcome. He arranged a one to one meeting taking all the facts. On the day Sunhil presented the case in court perfectly I couldn't not of wished for a better out come. Thank you

Drunk in Charge: I faced an allegation for the first time in my life and was originally advised by a 'duty solicitor'. Given the gravity of the situation I decided to engage a specialist barrister. I did some research and found Sunil Rupasinha appeared to be an expert held in very high regard. I contacted him and found him to be immediately helpful, knowledgeable and prepared to put in maximum effort to prepare my case. On the day in court he was the complete master of his brief and literally obtained for me the best possible outcome. You don't realise how much is involved until you see an expert dealing with matters at first hand. He left nothing to chance. He was not cheap but he was undoubtedly worth his fee and more. I would highly recommend you consider the possible outcomes of your situation, over any apprehensions you have about costs. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever, this Gentleman was fantastic start to finish.

Appeal against Conviction: Charged with a mobile phone motoring offence I represented myself in the Magistrates' Court and lost the case. I appealed but engaged Sunil Rupasinha, a barrister, to represent me in the Crown Court. I felt I was in safe hands from the first phone call all the way to the appeal hearing. On the day he managed to secure the dismissal of the case. I simply could not have achieved this on my own as there are too many technicalities. I now realise I should not have even tried to represent myself. It is well worth engaging this man's expertise if you can

I had been charged with failing to drive with due care and attention with the added issue of a failed breathalyser test (double the limit). My court hearing was in just over a week and I came across Kent traffic law whilst searching for a solicitor/barrister online. I wasn’t 100% sure whether to proceed with Sunil but he took time out of his own Friday night (almost an hour) to explain to me his background, his experience and why he is different to any other barrister/firm of solicitors, which put my mind at ease. I didn’t feel pressured by Sunil, Which stood out for me as well as knowing Sunil had worked on both sides in court as part of the defence and prosecution!
When I met Sunil, he was very open, honest and thorough in explaining the seriousness of my case and how it was likely to be seen by the courts. Sunil was very open in telling me my case was a difficult one to achieve what I wanted (no ban, no disclosure to professional work body). I was most likely looking at a years ban (at least) with a substantial fine and the possibility of disclosing the conviction to my professional work body.
Sunil was available at anytime to answer any queries/concerns and was also responding to late night emails. Sunil also recommended steps to take to improve my defence which I took!
In court, Sunil presented my defence impeccably and I was able to avoid a ban and did not have to disclosure anything to my professional body despite the conviction snd the failed breathalyser test! Sunil had achieved the perfect result! The steps Sunil informed me to take (e.g driving course) made a massive difference to the end result so thank you Sunil.
Sunil was definitely somebody that cared about myself and my case. I can’t thank Sunil enough for what he has done and I am so grateful. Thank you again Sunil, you have no idea how much you have saved me.

I found Sunil having been let down badly by a solicitor I had engaged to help me with my court appearance for the charge of drink driving. I am actually very pleased that I had the chance to compare the service of the first solicitor to that of Sunil because there is literally no comparison. From the first phone call which Sunil answered straight away I felt completely reassured and looked after at a time in my life when I was feeling out of my depth and vulnerable. He took time out of his day to make sure I understood his background and what he could do to help me. He arranged to meet me in person so that we could go through everything in detail. My mental health had a big part to play in my situation and he was sensitive to that and took so much time to ensure the best outcome for me. I came away from the court appearance completely blown away by how sympathetic and kind the magistrates were to me and I put this down entirely to the way Sunil represented me.
I can't say enough good things about this man. He is the most professional person I've ever met, he pays immaculate attention to detail, he does his absolute best for his clients and knows the system inside out. I can't recommend him highly enough.
A. H.
A serial professional that in a time of great need, delivers spectacularly on the front stage - I came to Sunil very lost on a speeding matter gone wrong, with technicalities and a no show on the essential paperwork, my self built case was taking on water, after a very real conversation between Sunil and I, it was clear to see that I had a weak defence, and thus would be fairly difficult to find reason with the opposition. After a merciless battle with the CPS and more wrongful technicalities we were willing to mitigate rather then win. With his charisma, intuition, and exceptional judgement, Sunil had managed to set the tone with the Judge and CPS, the case was dismissed! this was because Sunil was able to articulate the full story. I cannot thank this man enough on his efforts, it’s amazing to see after everything Sunil has done and seen, the passion for his work burns bright, an absolute pleasure to see preform, you have to see it for yourself!

Sunil was highly recommended to me after I was charged with a first time driving offence. The worry of losing my licence and potentially my job was overwhelmingly stressful. His approach to the case was honest and professional, and his advice was clear and simple which I followed to the letter. From the very first phone consultation both worst case scenario and best possible outcome were explained in detail. It soon became clear to me that Sunil’s experience and knowledge were going to be incredibly valuable with regards to my case. He put my mind at ease but did not digress from the facts. I had come to accept that I would be leaving court with a long ban and a substantial fine but the professionalism and expertise of Sunil was paramount and this was reflected in the result - a 12 month ban with a 25% reduction, a small fine and 100 hours Community Service. This was better than I had hoped and this is all down to the organised and competent way in which Sunil handled everything. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

New Driver - Excessively Speeding
Sunil saved me from a sentence of approximately 1 year to a 21 day ban for an excessive speeding offence in a variable speed limit area.
From the moment I engaged with Sunil many months before my court date up to the day, he provided me with all the information I needed and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable under the circumstances.
On the day of court Sunil arrived with plenty of time to spare before the allocated time to ensure we could read through the case again and feel extremely comfortable going into the courtroom. Sunil alleviated all the pressure of the day and I couldn’t thank him more.
J. H.
Sunil Rupasinha prevented a driving ban on my behalf. His service was excellent and I thoroughly recommend him and his company.
E. A.
I engaged Sunil Rupasinha, a barrister, to advise me. It was clear his advice was not in his financial interest
but in my best interest as I engaged him to advise me and he did so but said it was one of those rare cases
in which my best interests could be to represent myself. He told me what to say in court and what
approach to adopt. I followed his advice to the letter and it worked really well in court. It has saved my licence
(I got a 7 day ban instead of a 6 month ban) and my job!
K. S.
I want to say a very big thank you to Barrister Sunil. He was extremely helpful with my case on 6/08/21, and was available whenever I called him with concerns or queries. I could've received a very harsh penalty for drink driving double the limit 69, but thanks to Barrister Sunil this wasn't the case and I came off lightly with IAM Course to reduce my ban. I highly recommend you contact him to represent you. Don't go to court by yourself.

My brother had an accident after driving a few months. Drove into someone's house. He had to attend court for this offence with a possible outcome of losing his license. Sunil was very helpful and professional and with his hard work my brother was given a 3 month ban and a £250 fine which we were very pleased about as he has just started his own business which requires him to drive. would definitely recommend Sunil.
A. B.
Speeding: I couldn't recommend Sunil enough. He is extremely thorough, thinks outside of the box, and is clearly an expert in his field. He presented my case clearly and persuasively to the court and thanks to his help during the hearing, and pre-hearing steps (taken on his advice), we achieved a wonderful result which saved me from what was expected to be an almost inevitable disqualification.
P. A.
I was caught driving at 104mph on the motorway and faced a ban and large fine. With the expertise of Sunil, and careful planning, i received a fine of £915 and 6 points on my licence with no ban. Sunil was extremely professional in difficult circumstances and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I have a small business which is dependent upon my driving licence. I faced a motoring prosecution for using a mobile phone and intended to plead ‘Guilty’ until I met Sunil who advised me, in a face to face consultation, that I had a defence to the charge. He prepared my defence and represented me in court. You can only appreciate the skill and knowledge required if you see it in action. He won my case. Consequently, when I had another motoring matter I went back to him again. Again he got the result I wanted. As a specialist motoring offence lawyer he is not cheap but, if you cannot afford to lose your licence, it is money well spent.

CD - 10 Careless Driving Offence
I can't thank Sunil enough for turning my defence into a respectable and acceptable outcome, after I was previously given dreadful advice from a local, supposedly 'specialist driving Solicitor'.
Sunil explained my circumstances in fine and clear detail, showing that the situation was completely different to the one I had been previously told, if I had continued with the Solicitors the outcome would have been considerably different, certainly resulting in a lengthy ban and hefty fine.
I now realise that the Solicitors are the GP’s of the legal world, Sunil is a Barrister, as such he is the Heart Surgeon, a specialist in his field and I cannot recommend him highly enough, his support, knowledge and communications were beyond professional.
Prior to the court he explained everything in minute detail as to how we would approach the day. The day in Court was executed with calmness and professionalism, the outcome was exceptional for me.
You get what you pay for, Sunil charges a reasonable amount considering his knowledge and abilities.
J. K.
Where do I start? Sunil was recommended to me by a friend who had used him before for a different offence and what a great recommendation it was! I had been arrested for drink driving and my reading well over double the limit. I contacted Sunil who then arranged a two hour phone consultation (due to COVID). I found him very thorough. Afterwards I reflected on our conversation and I felt Sunil really wanted to help me and get the best result I possibly could. He was straightforward and frank about the range of sentencing options the court would have whilst at the same time explaining to me how best to maximise my chances of obtaining a lenient sentence. I walked out of court with a 12month ban (which will be reduced to 9 months after I’ve completed the drink driving course) and only a £239 fine! I cannot put into words how truly grateful I am and always will be to Sunil because this could not have been a better outcome for me and I will always without any hesitation recommend him to anyone who gets arrested for any driving offence.

I cannot recommend Sunil Rupasinha enough. We had an extraordinary result, which I know would not have been possible without his help. I first contacted Sunil on behalf of a relative, an international student at university, who had gotten into an accident while driving under the influence. Sunil had come highly recommended by a lawyer friend, and I was impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism right from the get go. Before we retained him, he spent time on the phone with me, explaining how the situation would play out, and asking pertinent questions. He then met with us for a substantial amount of time in advance of the hearing date, and went through the case with a fine tooth comb, and I was seriously impressed. On the day itself, in the magistrates court, I realised what a difference it makes to retain a professional of his legal standing – while many of the harried duty solicitors were trying to introduce themselves to their clients, apparently telling them they could give them only a few minutes, Sunil was in a room with us, going through exactly what would happen step by step, and framing the case in a positive way. In the end, my relative, who was facing a community service order and perhaps a disqualification of some length, was given a 12 month driving ban only (the minimum duration), and a fine without having to do any community service at all. We are very grateful to him.
H.
Spoke to Sunil on the phone, was really polite and nice. Took his time and considered the information. Unlike other law firms that are willing to take your money straight away and try find a “loophole”. Sunil was straight forward and let me know what the best option was. Now I know where to come if I have any motoring issues. Top man!

Not Guilty Plea – Traffic Light Allegation
I was falsely accused of jumping a red light. It was amber and so I pleaded, ‘Not Guilty’. I engaged Sunil Rupasinha to advise and represent me. He gave me confidence I was in safe hands. He defended me at trial and made a successful submission of ‘no case to answer’ which meant that the cps case was thrown out early! I did not realise how many legal technicalities would be involved in a (factually) simple case. I do now.
I could not have achieved this without Sunil. He was professional and committed to my case. I recommend him.

After meeting Sunil when he done work for my son I was impressed not only with the outcome of the case but the attention to detail was second to none.
I enrolled his services to represent me on my case when I reached 12 points and was looking at receiving a driving ban.
Sunil gave me an in-depth consultation in our first meeting and his Meticulous attention to detail ensuring all the facts were correct was exceptional.
Sunil argued an exceptional hardship submission successfully and I was able to retain my license.
Sunil is professional experienced and very knowledgeable of the law and he came to me by way of recommendation.
I would totally recommend his services to anyone

I was caught speeding and was sent a Single Justice Procedure Notice. I was required to attend court for consideration of a driving disqualification. I contacted Sunil and felt reassured immediately that I was in the hands of an expert. I engaged him straightaway and he advised me of steps to take to reduce the prospect of a ban. His dedication to detail and preparation of my case was outstanding and made me feel there was nothing else that could have been done to prepare my case. At court he delicately and persuasively addressed the Magistrates as to why I should not be banned. Needless to say, I was delighted that I was able to leave court with my licence in tact. From start to finish he offered an exceptional and professional service and I have no doubt at all that it was well worth investing the extra fees required to engage this specialist motoring offence barrister in order to save my driving licence.

The police charged me with undue care and attention for a head-on crash while overtaking a vehicle. The judges said this is a very serious case and that I'm very lucky to be alive. Sunil represented me and presented my case brilliantly. I was at risk of having my license revoked with a big fine as well as the loss of job and rented accommodation. Thanks to Sunil's excellent skill and experience the results of the case were a 28-day driving ban and fine. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. also, anyone who is facing the worst possible scenario. there is hope if you call Sunil
n. j.
I was caught just twice over the legal limit for drink driving, i was recommended through a friend to contact Sunil.
I had looked and talked to 3 solicitors prior to contacting Sunil.
On discussing my case with Sunil, he was excellent and offered no nonsense advice, his service leading up to my hearing was first class and had a personal touch and cared about the outcome and approach throughout.
On the day of my hearing we were organised, every step planned out and gave me confidence and assurance.
The outcome was superb, i was give 18 months with a discount of 25%, a fine of £265 which is very very low and no community service at all.
I couldn't have hoped for any better outcome, i would highly recommend Sunil's services to everyone i know, if in the same situation.

I was about to reach 12 penalty points on my licence. I simply could not have afforded to lose my licence for 6 months which was the likely penalty. I did some research and contacted Sunil at Kent Traffic Law. He clearly specialises exclusively in motoring offences and I needed someone who could give me the best possible chance of avoiding a 6 month ban which could have devastated my business. From the time I first spoke to him on the phone he gave me clear and honest advice as to my prospects. I arranged to meet him and followed his advice. At court he handled the situation really well and managed to avoid a 6 month ban. I would caution anyone against trying to achieve this for themselves if you want to stand the best possible chance of success.

I faced losing my license due to having 6 points from speeding and 6 points for driving on the phone which would’ve resulted in me also losing my job and family home. I was going to represent myself in court but decided not to due to the risks I could have faced. Sunsil was very thorough and helpful throughout the process and helped with my case exceedingly resulting in me getting a 28 day ban and a small fine. I would highly recommend Sunsil and I’m very grateful he was there to help.

I cannot recommend Sunil highly enough. Having received a notice of a speeding offence, I sought professional advice and found Sunil online and following an initial phone consultation I felt very confident in his abilities and was happy to have him represent me in court. Following his advice we were well prepared before the court hearing and thought we knew what to expect. After hearing previous rulings before the magistrates we were fearing the worst but we received the best outcome we could have hoped for and all thanks to Sunil who prepared us and gave us invaluable advice. Thank you!

After my first phone call with Sunil Rupasinha I felt at ease and reassured after he explained everything clearly and calmly, and what his procedures and recommendations were.
Our 2nd phone call was excellent. A thorough background was constructed and the case was discussed at length leaving no stone unturned. Leaving me feeling comfortable and again reassured, which during the time leading up to the court day was valuable to me.
Once in court day Sunil was fantastic, going through every detail with a fine toothcomb, wanting everything to be perfect. The outcome was fantastic and im forever grateful. I highly recommend Kent traffic Law, it certainly helped me out in many ways.
If there's one negative point, because of covid legislation, i couldn't shake Sunils hand! Thank you.

"Sunil worked his magic again", Was the quote that I received from my elated son after his recent court appearance for what could have been a very different outcome,
Sunil had previously represented my son on a very serious motoring offence some years before, At that time he showed he is a very skilled Barrister, shining in the court and not prepared to give in on a point that was of great importance. The outcome was that my son kept his driving privileges.
Unfortunately my son (who is in full knowledge and acceptance of this review) found himself requiring the services of a motoring defence specialist once again. In our mind there was no other professional to call than Sunil Rupashina, of Kent Traffic Law, who once again showed his genuine expertise that only a Barrister such as he can. The advice was clear and considered. The case itself was very serious and could carry a custodial sentence, along with extended disqualification. This offence was not necessarily the fault of my son but more a case of unfortunate acquaintances, Briefly allowing someone else to drive his car who crashed and ran off leaving my son to take the blame. My son refused a breath test at the scene and was subsequently charged accordingly. The driver would not come forward to own up. The case was adjourned due to covid restrictions during which time Sunil’s expertise was clear with professional advice and suggestions.
The eventual outcome was that my son walked from the court with a minimum fine and some points added to his licence. Quoting with great relief the catch line above to me.
I am a retired Met Police Officer, I have a great deal of experience in assessing court room advocates. Once again I am certain that Sunil Rupashina is the best available traffic law, specialist Barrister available, I cannot recommend him enough
Thank you Sunil.
R. B.
I cant thank Kent Traffic Law enough for the representation I was given. The case was thoroughly and thoughtfully prepared, then seamlessly presented to the judge in a way that I wouldn’t have been able to do for myself. This resulted in my license being saved.
In preparation, every detail of my case was examined by KTL prior to my court date, so that I had the best chance of a fair outcome for my circumstances. If I had lost my license it would have been extremely difficult for me to get to work, see my children / partner / family, and generally live my life doing all of the things I take for granted when being able to drive.
This was a real wake up call for me.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kent Traffic Law to anyone who is in the situation I was in. Highly recommended, and thanks again.

Sunil was able to help me have the best possible outcome from my situation. I really can't recommend Sunil highly enough. Through his knowledge, experience and professionalism he was able to help me avoid what I was expecting with a speeding offence I faced.
Meticulous attention to detail from the first meeting with him gave me encouragement and confidence in him helping my outcome.
There were a few issues at the court house on the day, Sunil’s experience shone through in resolving these with the clerk.
Sunil's representation in the court room, his reading of the case and responses to the questions asked by the magistrates was thoroughly impressive.
I hope never to be in the same situation again. If anyone I know, ever is, Sunil’s number will be given immediately.
Excellent.

I cannot thank Sunil enough for his help throughout the whole of my case. I was caught speeding on the motorway at 110mph in a 70mph. After calling a couple of local solicitors and feeling like they were not being helpful and filled me with no confidence, I luckily came across Kent traffic law. Sunil has the upmost professionalism and certainly knows what he is doing, from the first phone call I knew my case was in the best possible hands. I have my own business owned by myself and my wife, my license is an asset to my company, I simply would not have been able to carry on the business if I was to be banned. I already had 6 points on my license and a 6 month penalty points disqualification was a very realistic sentence I was to receive. Sunil explained every aspect of what to prepare for in court, he made an ‘exceptional hardship submission’ which was accepted, after his precise preparation and advice he managed to help me avoid a ban. I would highly recommend Sunil, thanks again for all of your help.
J. M.
Before engaging Kent Traffic Law I faced the prospect of a driving disqualification for speeding. I admitted the offence and was given excellent advice on how to word the mitigation section of the Single Justice Procedure Notice that I had received. The outcome was that I received 6 penalty points instead of being required to attend court to explain why I should not be disqualified. This saved me money, time, and a lot of stress. I feel that without the barrister's expert advice on how to word my plea the outcome would have been very different. Although there are firms of solicitors who would have charged me less I could not afford to take a chance with my licence. Paying more for a specialist barrister was definitely money well spent and was worth every penny.
B. P.
Sunil was extremely professional and very supportive during the entire process. He made me feel at ease and articulated very clearly my situation in court. With his help I managed to only receive the bare minimum penalty considering it was very likely I was going to receive a full long term driving ban, due to the speed I was travelling in a controlled area. I am thankful and lucky to have had Sunil fighting my corner, I would highly recommend his services

Sunil is the man to turn to if you are in a critical position regarding any driving related matter, his expertise is second to none. My whole business depended on me keeping my licence and through his advice and performance in court I couldn't have wished for a better outcome. His fee's are very competitive and the service you receive is outstanding.

If you want an extremely honest and professional barrister to assist you in getting best outcome you can than i cant recommend Sunil highly enough.
I was stopped on my Supercharged motorcycle last summer, The speed was close to 150mph. 5 months and 3 weeks later the ticket arrived at my house and my heart sank. People have gone to prison for this kind of speed was my first thought.
After a bit of researching i stumbled across Sunils website, I liked the website and decided to call him. He made time to briefly discuss my issues and explained how it worked should i wish to use his services. So i paid for a 2 hour meeting where he explained very clearly the options ahead and in his opinion what was the best route to take.
He had some good points and all though i wanted to go down a different route i decided to take the advice and paid to have Sunil to represent me at court. On the day he did a very good job in representing me to the judges. We walked out of court with a very very small ban to which myself and Sunil were both delighted. My ban was over within a matter of weeks.
His Service wasn't the cheapest but it was cheaper than some of the more known guys who are famous for getting footballers off and to be honest you cannot put a price on your freedom to be able to drive when you need to. For me it was money very very well spent !
I have recomeded him to may of my friends who had similar experiences.
Sunil, If your reading this again thank you...

Firstly I would like to thank Mr Sunil for his formalities and support which made me feel very confident during a very stressful case.
I would highly recommend Mr Sunil because after searching for solicitors who did not give me any confidence in my case, I finally found this barrister though the internet. Mr Sunil advised me and represented me with a lot of professionalism and honesty, meeting up with me before and during court. He managed to help me be successful in my case and suspend a ban on my license.
If your case involves potential disqualification from driving do not hesitate in contacting Mr Sunil. From my experience I can assure you that he will help you to sort out your case.
Thank you Mr Sunil.

I have no hesitation in recommending Sunil Rupasinha. My case concerned an appeal from a disqualification for six months due to reaching 12 penalty points on my licence. Whether I retained my licence was dependent upon the court accepting my plea of exceptional hardship. Sunil's representation backed up by professionalism, responsiveness, an understanding of the key points of the case, which was concerned a penalty point disqualification and extreme hardship and ultimately his top quality advocacy made all the difference to my case. I really believe that his advice on the facts and points I raised, how I put my arguments across and, as importantly, what I didn’t say and what was not relevant to the case was the difference between my case being successful or not. And with Sunil on my side we achieved the best result possible. I cannot fault his service or expertise.

10 months ago I was caught by a speed camera on the M20 doing 104 mph. I was convinced that I was going to be banned but had no idea how long for. Being disqualified from driving would have caused me personal and professional difficulties and so I did a lot of research and made many phone calls to try to find the best legal representation. I decided to go with Kent Traffic Law (Sunil) even though, as a barrister not a solicitor he was more expensive than most. I first contacted him by phone. He explained that a ban was not necessarily the only outcome and that careful advance preparation would either result in a shorter ban than otherwise, or, if all went really well, in avoiding a ban altogether. This calmed my nerves.
I was duly required to attend court for consideration of a ban. Sunil set up a face to face meeting with me in preparation for the court hearing and he went through everything carefully. He was pleasant yet professional to deal with and the early advice in advance of the hearing proved critical to the final result. In court his command of the situation was impressive and he was very effective in conveying my interests. I escaped with no ban, just 6 points and a fine! I have since renewed my insurance premium and have no doubt that had I received even a short ban my premiums could have shot up or even doubled. I hadn't even considered the saving on premiums by avoiding a ban until after the hearing!
I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in my situation or worse who feels there is no way out.
It turned out to be a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Definitely worth paying extra.

Superb! Recently Sunil Rupasinha advised a relative of mine in relation to a motoring offence. I attended the meeting for moral support but it really wasn't necessary. It was a pleasure seeing Sunil at work, the way he thinks his way through the issues is quite amazing. As a barrister he is very familiar with the way the Courts work and how the legal system operates, his experience in this arena is very likely to make all the difference. My advice to anyone who is at risk of losing their driving licence is to go directly to Sunil.

I received a Notice of Intended Prosecution relating to Dangerous /Careless Driving and Failing to Stop/Report following a road traffic incident. This required me to supply the driver’s name and address along with giving me the option to provide my own written account of the events.
Knowing that this could potentially be a difficult situation to deal with by myself, I sought out Sunil’s guidance after finding Kent Traffic Law via a quick Google search. The blog entries on their website and positive independent reviews convinced me that seeking Sunil’s help was the right choice to make.
Our initial phone conversation immediately helped to put me at ease. Sunil explained to me the situation and how the police would likely review and assess the charges I was potentially facing.
Very soon after our phone conversation I met with Sunil. After giving him a detailed account of the incident Sunil was able to help me to provide a written response to the Notice of Intended Prosecution.
Within a few weeks of sending off this response, the police wrote to me advising that the decision had been made not to prosecute and that no further action would be taken.
As I had no idea as to the best response to provide to the Notice of Intended Prosecution, I honestly believe that if I had not sought Sunil’s help, then the outcome would have been very different.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sunil and Kent Traffic Law to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation.

Speeding at 111 mph - Highly recommend Kent Traffic Law, Sunil is the most professional representative for driving cases. I did not loose my licence which helped me massively . Cannot thank him enough !
D. G.
I highly recommend Sunil as an expert barrister for motoring offences. He carefully went through every detail of my case before the court hearing and gave sound advice. His mitigation speech in court was excellent and I was impressed at his ability to accurately remember even finer details of the case! As a result I got the best outcome possible from the court hearing. I have also been impressed at how easy he has been to contact, answering any questions promptly, even since the case is over. I am extremely thankful I was put in touch with him. Thank you very much Sunil, all the best!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND and definately worth every penny..On 8.8.18 Sunil represented my husband in a speed camera case which could have resulted in loss of job, license and potentially the roof over our head. Like many people we had no idea who to go to and made many calls to traffic solicitors without instilling any confidence in their abilities or their knowledge. From our first conversation with Sunil his refreshing honesty about the difficulties concerning our case made us feel that we were in safe hands. Sunil made us aware of the potential outcomes and explained these things to us which gave us a better understanding of our situation and made us feel he had our best interests at heart. His expert and detailed knowledge of traffic law is second to none and it was this that resulted in a very successful outcome.. a short ban and small fine.. We would highly recommend Sunil to anyone looking for representation in traffic law offences..he really is worth his weight in gold...We are eternally grateful Sunil..😊

Unfortunately, I was charged with drinking under the influence of alcohol which could have resulted me having a 22 month ban, community service and a severe fine. After researching various practices, I was lucky enough to come across Sunil who dealt with every query I had throughout, however minuscule or silly it may have sounded.
I had a consultation, phone call and email correspondence in the build up to my court hearing which made me feel reassured and at ease before attending court, an experience I’ve luckily not had to endure before. Sunil did not feed me with everything I wanted to hear but gave me an experienced and skilful view on my case which made me feel I was in the best hands. When engaging with other firms, I felt that I was being promised the best outcome which don’t get me wrong was nice to hear but not when it didn’t seem realistic.
On the day of my court hearing, I was extremely nervous as a 26 year old like myself had never been in this kind of surrounding before but Sunil made me feel like everything was under control. To be completely honest, I felt like the only individual who had that when every other person at court didn’t have representation and looked completely lost. My gut feeling was that I was at more of an advantage and I had someone who genuinely cared about my case and the outcome, not just another statistic. Every single penny spent on a barrister (not an advocate solicitor) was worth while and it was actually the same cost in some cases.
I was the first offender seen which was such a relief and I got the best possible outcome. I was also so relieved that community service was not part of my penalty. I highly recommend Sunil to represent anyone in court because out of this whole situation he has made this nightmare and punishment a little more bearable for me. A considerably lower ban to help me get my life back on track quicker. I can’t thank him enough.
J. Z.
I cannot recommend this Barrister highly enough. I was a Police Officer for 10 years and thought I could represent myself at a Magistrates Court for what I thought would be an easy matter of no insurance.
How wrong I was. The CPS prosecutor said I was one of the best self litigants he'd seen for a long time, but it still wasn't enough and the Magistrates convicted me and gave me a fine and costs which to most people isn't the issue, its the points on your licence that makes things very difficult in some cases.
I knew I had a strong case from the beginning but I thought I could save myself money and represent myself but this was a false economy. I did my research online and contacted a few direct access barristers and solicitors who all claimed to be motoring and traffic law specialists, but when you drill them down, its often the case they are just general advocates who will take on any work that comes their way as they are simply looking for additional income regardless of your case or situation
I came across Kent Traffic Law, watched some of their videos online and read some of the reviews. I rang Sunil and spoke to him at great length about my case. To my surprise he took a great deal of time to listen and understand which I did not find with some of the other solicitors and barristers I spoke with.
He told me straight I had a strong arguable case but as with most things in life nothing is guaranteed. I sent him all the documents and arranged a conference. This lasted 2 hours during which he was very attentive and sympathetic as to the reasons why I needed my conviction and the IN10 on my licence to be overturned on appeal. This was preventing me from working as most employers will not employ you with an IN10 as their company insurance wont cover you and also my own personal car insurance had doubled since this endorsement.
At Crown Court today, he liaised with the CPS prosecutor who tried to introduce a damning Police statement at the last minute to weaken my case. Sunil managed to keep this statement from being mentioned during the hearing and his 30 years experienced advocacy was obvious from the moment he stood up in court to the moment he closed my defence case.
Many chambers are so busy they cannot give you the personal and attentive service that Sunil does. From having his personal email and phone number to a lengthy and detailed conference, you will not get this level of service anywhere else.
The conviction was today overturned, points removed and fine quashed. This has actually changed my life as I can now go back to work. As with many motoring offences, its not the fine that's worrying its the points as they can actually have a major impact on your life especially if they are DR and IN10 endorsements or you are a 'totter up' facing 12 points and mandatory disqualification.
What have I learnt from this? Firstly never ever try to save money and represent yourself or maybe find a bucket shop advocate. These advocates are often poorly prepared and can never give you the level of service and knowledge you need in times of potential loss of license and livelihood.
Secondly, being represented properly is not just about the law and facts. Its the little things that often matter. In court today, Sunil used very clever and subtle tactics to get the right outcome. Things that would often be missed by other less experienced advocates. I was very impressed with his professionalism and extensive knowledge and understanding of the entire process.
As I said right at the beginning of this lengthy but I feel quite necessary review, I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you want someone who will give you one to one service and a level of commitment you wont find anywhere else, then you need to instruct Sunil at the earliest opportunity.
Thanks for reading this and I hope you also get the right outcome that I did today after instructing Sunil Rupasinha.

From a father's perspective: the moment you see a police charge of speeding at 112 mph combined with an allegation of careless driving coupled with the fact your son contributes to the family income and he depends on his driving licence to keep his job (a very good job too) you fear the worst.
I therefore searched for the very best legal representation. There were lots of solicitors who claimed they could do the job but the person who impressed was Sunil, a barrister. I booked him for a meeting with my son.
Being honest, direct, and straight to the point, you know you are dealing with a very confident and extremely knowledgeable professional when you meet him. My son had hoped to plead, ‘Not Guilty’ to the careless driving and ‘Guilty’ to the speeding. Sunil advised us of the reasons for and against contesting the careless driving matter. He explained that the prospects of avoiding a ban were probably poor but would be better if my son also pleaded ‘Guilty’ to the careless driving.
Sunil then stepped back allowing us to make our own decision. On sharing our decision with him, Sunil commended us and he went to work. Note that Sunil advised us in our interests and not his (some lawyers would simply wish to prolong matters and increase their fees).
Moving to the day of the court case, Sunil took charge during a short "pre-hearing" meeting. He was equally authoritative in court. With expert delivery he castigated my son's driving actions before putting the mitigation across in a very engaging and persuasive fashion. He spoke at some length, without repetition, before suggesting to the Magistrates’ that it would not be in the public interest to ban my son from driving. They retired to consider the sentence before returning to do just what Sunil had suggested ie imposed 9 penalty points and a fine. In other words, my son was not banned despite pleading ‘Guilty’ to speeding and careless driving.
In his summation, the head Magistrate set out why he was not going to ban my son. In essence, he set out each point Sunil had made a few minutes earlier.
Sunil will work hard for you - he will tell you straight and not promise the earth, but I am sure that he will always get his clients the best possible outcome, in our case it was perfect. Quite simply the best money I have spent in years!

I was at risk of losing my driving license with a driving offence for driving with undue care following a car accident. I pleaded not guilty and was seeking a court trial. When I first contacted Sunil, he took the time to listen to me on the phone for more than an hour. He was understanding of the complicated situation and very honest about consequences of going through a court trial. He explicitly stated that he could not guarantee that I would win the case and in most cases, the court would be in favour of the other side and the witness. He has, at every step, tried to avoid further costs and spoke to me on the phone a number of times to help me in the case. He met with me on the day of the trial and confirmed the argument that we would be putting forward to the court. During the trial, he put forward a very strong, concise and persuasive argument to the court and as a result, the court has now ruled in my favour and I have won the case. I'm very thankful to Sunil as he has saved me significant costs, and was willing to help me several times in his spare time to deal with this case and the related issues in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Thank you Sunil!

i first contacted Sunil when my son had a notice of prosecution for speeding in November 2018. As the charge was speeding at over 101 mph this was serious and being a new driver of less than 2 years the repercussion was not only losing his licence but also his job as an apprentice Plumber. Sunil was very upfront from the beginning on what he could expect and about the fees. We had a meeting and he put my son at ease and kept in touch about what evidence and testimonials we can get to help save his job. This even extended to answering my questions from a worried mum on a Sunday.
We went to the hearing and due to his professionalism and being able to get the panel to read the testimonies and getting us up first in the queue and speaking very eloquently on behalf n my son's, he was banned for a very short period but able to keep his job and licence. I would definitely recommend Kent Law to anyone needing help.

After searching for a specialist motoring offence lawyer to defend my son, who has full knowledge of this review, who faced a serious set of motoring allegations I had the good fortune to find a barrister who specialises in this field, Sunil Rupasinha. I am ex Met police and have little faith in many solicitors and so I was pleased to be able to engage a barrister. My initial call to Sunil reassured me I had found a skilled professional. We later met for a formal consultation with my son. Sunil is clearly a very knowledgeable, experienced and conscientious professional who went to great lengths to ensure that he gave the best possible advice.
My son’s offences were serious enough to put him at risk of a custodial sentence together with an extended driving ban. During our consultation Sunil expertly explained the advantages, disadvantages and risks of the various courses of action open to us. He gave what transpired to be excellent advice on the pleas my son should tender and how we should go about gaining maximum credit for the pleas albeit notified to the CPS at a late stage.
When the case was listed Sunil managed to get the CPS to drop one of the more serious allegations. The case was then adjourned for sentencing to a later occasion. The judge did not readily accept everything put forward on behalf of my son but Sunil was skilled in dealing politely yet effectively with him so much so that the judge, in the end, dealt with my son just as we had hoped; not only did he avoid a prison sentence but he was not even disqualified from driving! This was most convincing evidence that engaging a skilled barrister was the right decision. I genuinely believe that by engaging Sunil rather than a solicitor that I, in fact, engaged the most skilled advocate practising in this field. I am truly grateful that I found him and cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone facing prosecution for a motoring offence.''

Penalty Points Disqualification:
I did not fully realise at the time but in Sunil Rupasinha I had engaged a barrister who is a specialist in motoring offences. I found him to be at the top of his game. He presented my case carefully and skilfully and managed to help me avoid a ban altogether by arguing exceptional hardship. This was an exceptional and professional service. It was not cheap but was worth every penny.

Drink driving guilty plea. Excellent result
I had some sort of breakdown which led me to drink drive and crash my car into a bollard
I blew 102 on the breathalyser which is a high reading.
I lost my job and was in fear of what the courts would decide.
With Sunil’s experience and well planned mitigation, I received 100hrs of unpaid work, no fine
and an 18 month ban which I can reduce to just over 13 months with a drink drive rehabilitation course.

Penalty Points Disqualification - Avoided!
Sunil helped me to obtain a verdict of exceptional hardship and enabled me to keep my driving licence. I can't recommend Kent Traffic Law highly enough, you will receive an extremely professional and thorough service for your money.

I depend upon my driving licence to earn a living and faced an allegation of speeding as well as of driving without insurance.
I went to a solicitor I know and trust and he referred me to Sunil Rupasinha as an expert in this field. I met with Sunil well in
advance of my court hearing and he listened to my story and then advised me of my options. He is clearly an expert in this
field. It was obvious to me that he was genuinely motivated to do his very best for me. I followed all of his advice and he really
came up trumps in court today. He argued 'special reasons' successfully as to why I should not have penalty points endorsed
despite driving without insurance. If that wasn't enough he then persuaded the court to endorse my licence with penalty points
rather than banning me for speeding at 80 mpm in a 50 mph limit. Result: I keep my licence and my job. It was definitely worth
paying extra and engaging a genuine expert in this field. I am truly grateful and thoroughly recommend Sunil to anyone trying
to save his or her licence.

Speeding Acquittal. Special Reasons
I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Sunil Rupasinha of KTL who not only saved my driving licence but also my living, my sanity and ultimately restored my faith in British Justice. The story started when I encountered a serious medical problem in May 2020 while travelling on the M20, as a result of what I regarded a medical emergency I had to reach a place of safety as quick and safely as possible, while on this journey I triggered an M20 Safety (speed) Camera, my association with Sunil initially started following finding Kent Traffic Law web site on line, my initial attention was drawn to what appeared to be informative details rather than others legal representative sites that I looked at which in my opinion were more like sales promotion sites.
End result was a Not Guilty Verdict, I kept my Licence, No Fine, No Points and I retained my Clean Driving Licence of Forty Seven Years as opposed to the perceived potential of Many points on Driving Licence, a Driving Ban, loss of Business. inflated insurance and all the other indirect negative problems that could have been encountered, Once again Sunil please accept my genuine appreciation of an Exceptionally Professional and productive defence and an end result that at some points over the last ten months I felt I could only dream off.

Back in February I was wrongly accused of using my mobile phone will driving through London. I was recommended Kent traffic law by a releative. I met Sunil Rupasinha in July for an initial meeting, where we discussed how to deal with my case and whether it is was worth contesting. Sunil advised me that although you cannot ever be certain I had a very good chance at proving my innocence. Today (1st October 2018) I attended Lavander Hill magistrates court London, where my case was heard. Sunil presented my case fantastically and got the result I was hoping for. I was found not guilty. I would just like to say a huge thank you and I would highly recommend Sunil at Kent traffic law.

I cannot recommend this Company highly enough.
I rang to seek help for my adult son facing possible charges of driving without due care and attention and of failing to stop, and insurance fraud - at the same time as already having 6 points for speed camera offences.
Sunil rang me back and gave his opinion freely and openly. It was immediately obvious he knew exactly what he was talking about - this is a man at the top of his game. He laid out a plan of action to gain the best possible result for my son. He was totally professional and at the same time supportive, telling me precisely what could realistically be the expected outcomes.
I could not have hoped for better or more accurate advice - and it was delivered with such honesty and clarity .
I have learnt in life that you mostly get what you pay for. With Sunil I believe you are getting the best possible source of relevant knowledge and advice - the fee for this is money extremely well spent. It has been a pleasure dealing with this totally honest and knowledgeable expert in his field.

An exceptional legal adviser with high integrity and honesty about the advice, costs, likely outcome and above all, acts in the clients best interest. I recommend Sunil very highly as he does not try to rip you off and gets the best outcome. Very few lawyers today can match his ethics and professional skills.

My experience with Sunil is that he is an expert and very Knowledgeable in his field. I found him to be ethusiastic to get the best result for the client. Hence it is very important to accurately provide him with the correct description and details of a potential case from your introductory consultation in order to get the best desired result.

Sunil was amazing! He helped us with our case and it was dropped straight away! He was always in contact and was easy to work with and was very understanding. We would definitely recommend to anyone who had any problems with police regarding traffic law. Thank you very much Sunil!

I cannot thank Sunil Rupasinka enough for his professionalism and the truthful nature he handled my case. As a new driver, i was faced with the reality of my licence being revoked when I had a serious accident 5 months into passing my test. When i finally received the notice from the police, I realised I was in a serious trouble and the financial burden on my family will be unbearable. But contacting Kent Traffic Law ,due to the positive review on line, put my mind at ease without over promising anything. He fully explained to e my options, the truthful outcome and what I could do to mitigate the outcome including the invaluable advice of taking advance driving lesson and fulling listening to my family circumstance to determine what would happen should i loss my licence. At court he was concise and very articulate explaining my circumstance and follow his strategy. With his knowledge and experience, the judge gave me 5 points, exactly what he suggested during his submission. This meant my licence was not revoked hence, I'm able to continue driving and given the minimum fine. I cannot recommend Kent Traffic law enough for his professional servic

Have just had my initial meeting with Sunil, with regards to my pending court case following the totting up process.
Thoroughly professional and immediately put me at ease.
Spent 2 hours going over every detail and has already made himself available for the court appearance whenever that is determined.
So refreshing to be able to contact a barrister directly, especially one with such a vast wealth of expertise.
I cannot state enough to anyone in the same position not to go to a so called specialist solicitor and to contact Sunil directly.

Speeding, close to double the limit - A brilliant service all round, talked me through everything, gave brilliant advice and ended up with an excellent result in court. Sunil represented me in a way i would never been able to do myself, I would absolutely recommend Kent Traffic Law.

I was accused of a road traffic offence and a solicitor recommended that I engage Sunil Rupasinha, a barrister who specialises in this field.
From the outset, I realised that he had my best interests at heart. He did not try to convince me to contest the case, but gave me simple and clear advice.
I met him well in advance of my court date to explain my situation and he represented many at court. He took great care to ensure that I obtained the best possible outcome.
I was really impressed, and have absolutely no doubt that it was worth paying for a specialist.

I can not speak highly enough of the Kent Traffic Law. The whole process of engaging with KTL has been incredible. Money well spent and I would recommend to anyone who needs legal representation. I would highly recommend Sunil to anyone with a possible motoring conviction. By liaising directly with a Barrister I was able to build a relationship and get advice from an expert, without the need to instruct a solicitor. When it came to the court appearance I am certain that Sunil had a significant and direct impact on achieving a positive outcome for my case. Anyone needing a local, professional and thorough Barrister should contact Sunil at the earliest opportunity.

I contacted Sunil regarding an NIP which I received off the back of an incident which was captured by the other party on dash cam. The other party had displayed some pretty bad driving themselves which contributed to the situation as a whole, but they still felt the need to report this to police.
After Sunil’s advice, I submitted a carefully worded response to the NIP drafted by him which brought the polices attention to the other parties poor driving and that it too would be captured by any unedited dash camera footage.
I received a response a month later saying that I would not face prosecution. My relief at such a positive outcome was profound. Losing my licence would have lost me my job.
Sunil’s advice was the sole reason for this outcome, without it I would probably now be unemployed.

'Penalty Points Disqualification - Exceptional Hard ship' What can I say, a truly very professional service provided by Kent Traffic law. They supported, advised and represented me through this stressful situation. I could not afford to loose my driving licence, it would have been life changing. I was so pleased to get a very positive outcome to my case. I highly recommend them. Bob

I consulted Kent Traffic Law as l faced a penalty points disqualification. Ì am a self-employed electrician and without my licence l would be unable to work and support my family. When l contacted Sunil l had no idea how to approach matters. Ì was extremely anxious at the prospect of loss of licence. He gave careful, detailed and expert advice from the outset. The outcome is that is that l have not been disqualified at all! If you are facing a penalty points disqualification l would suggest that you look no further than Sunil at Kent Traffic Law.

had 12 penalty points on my driving licence and faced a 6 month driving disqualification. I could not afford this as I depend upon my licence for my job. My whole family depend on me and loss of licence would have been a catastrophe. I consulted a well known firm of motor offence solicitors but they did not really appear to care very much about my case. I decided to go direct to a public access barrister who specialised in saving driving licences. The difference was obvious from the outset. Sunil Rupasinha met me well in advance of the hearing to advise me on the preparation of mitigation. His approach was meticulous. He also drafted, based upon my instructions to him, two testimonials from my witnesses. At court he met me as soon as the doors opened at 9am. We clarified a couple of details and then he was straight into court to meet the prosecutor and court clerk early. We were first on and he dealt with the Magistrates very skilfully. They were clearly against me at the outset but he persuaded them to his way of thinking. I only realised then how important the two testimonials were. The court found that I would suffer from 'exceptional hardship' and did not ban me at all! It was definitely worth paying more for a specialist barrister. Thank you so much for saving me and my family from disaster.

I contacted Sunil regarding a pending court case (motoring offense matter) for advice, he was very informative, clear, articulate and realistic with possible outcomes. I don't have the date yet for the court hearing and I am carefully considering all options. Sunil was very helpful, thank you!

We contacted Kent Traffic Law out of concern for a family member. Our decision to do so was based on years of working in the Law and in The Court Service and our knowledge of barristers, solicitors and Court procedure. The unique one-to-one service, expertise and experience provided by Kent Traffic Law is reflected in the fees which in our opinion are very fair and reasonable.

Back in 2018 I was caught doing excess of 100mph on the motorway and risked facing a driving ban. It was a very stressful experience for me as I rely on my licence for my job and losing my licence would mean I was unable to work. Knowing I would have to go to court in an attempt to save myself from a ban I weighed up the options to seek legal advice as I knew it was something I couldn’t tackle on my own - and I am so glad I did. After looking at various lawyers online I came across Kent Traffic Law and from my first initial conversation I knew I’d made the right choice. They were confident that they would be able to obtain a good result for me but also were realistic in the outcomes I faced. Throughout the whole process I always felt they were supportive and approachable, answering any questions or concerns I had regarding my case. The level of expertise was unparalleled, their advice ensuring I was doing all that I could to minimise the likelihood of getting a ban - or at least a shorter one. On the day of my hearing I could not fault my appointed barrister, arriving in great time and fully explaining how the proceedings would work as well as addressing any final concerns. In court his mitigating speech was fantastic and I was very happy to find that my punishment was reduced to 6 points and a fine - not the ban I was fearful of.
I cant recommend Kent Traffic Law enough to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation and would certainly use them again myself should I need any help in the future.

UPDATE: [{ I have just received the decision.
I got the minimum points and £266 fine. I can't thank you enough for you saved me from getting into debt and losing my license. If I had listened to the sharks, I'd be disqualified today and in debt.}]
I'm being charged with multiple offences for defective tyres and at risk of losing my license.
I consulted 2 lawyers and paid a lot of money for advice but I wasn't satisfied. One of them did not even understand the charges properly. As someone who's struggling financially I was very disappointed.
I then found Mr Sunil's page and contacted him on his phone, he was very articulate, professional, and most importantly very sympathetic.
He discussed my case over the phone for a considerable amount of time at no cost to me, he knew what he was talking about and that gave me a great sense of comfort that finally someone who's not just after getting your money by giving you false hopes.
If you want an honest advice on whether or not you should fight the case or plead guilty or even if you need a lawyer at all, I highly recommend consulting Mr Sunil Rupasinha in person.
Mr Sunil you have been very helpful and I thank you for being brutally honest and ethical.
Once again I really appreciate your time.

My partner K H was up in court today on a speeding allegation where his speed was recorded at 101mph on a motorcycle. Talking to his friends they all said he would get a ban. He contacted Sunil Rupasinha who represented him in court . We can not praise Sunil enough he managed to get my partner through court without a ban. We found Sunil very friendly and helpful and he put our minds at ease and was very truthful of what the outcome might of been

Driving offence- Gulity plea. We would like to thank Sunil of KTL for the excellent job he did to prevent a custodial sentence for our family member. He certianly learned his lesson and was duly supported throughout by Sunil.

I was caught speeding on the motorway at close to double the speed limit. The judge on the day told me that I was looking at a six-month ban. With careful representation in court from Sunil, I walked away with just an 81-day ban and a fine of less than £500. To say I was pleased would be an understatement!
g. d.
I was ooking at possible ban through totting up procedure and made a few phone calls to companies advertising through the internet then came across Sunil. Although he was significantly dearer and didn't suger coat it over the phone I found myself preferring his honesty not like companies on line who said that they had a 95% success rate. I didn't want the BS I wanted honesty and that's what I got.
Initial meeting with him and I came away not sure if I had a chance but something inside me said go with Sunil..... which I did.... Just left court... NO BAN, just a fine.
Cant thank him enough, he's professional and an expert in his field.
Be careful what these online companies say...

I contacted Mr Sunil Supasinha directly via his website after a Google search for a Kent based traffic lawyer (I now know he's a Barrister, but having been a generally law abiding citizen, I wasn't aware of the difference. Sunil soon cleared that up. LOL). Of course I'd left it until about 10 days before my case was due to be heard despite having had several months notice to decide I'd benefit from being represented.
Sunil called me back within about 10 minutes and took a lot of time to talk me through his experience, his approach to my situation (driving at 83 mph in a 50 mph variable speed limit area of the M25).
We arranged to meet upon which Sunil spent two hours going through my background, the circumstances surrounding the offence and my personal circumstances (and how they might be impacted by a ban).
Sunil then met me an hour before the case was due to be heard to cover some additional details. Along the way, he suggested some activities I might undertake to demonstrate to the court how seriously I took the offence and to give reassurances to them that i would not re-offend.
I followed all the advice he gave. In return, Sunil stood in court and did a magnificent job of representing the information that was key to minimising my sentence. He'd clearly rehearsed all the particulars related to me. He used the tools that I'd armed him with by following his recommendations. Result: 6 points and a fine.
Would I recommend him?: Absolutely.
Would I have achieved the same result without him?: Very unlikely, even though I consider my self a competent and capable (professional) individual.
Have I re-offended?: Actually, I havent. Yet! Not been more than 2 or 3 mph over the limit and that was only in error. Now that's hard! It's been 15 days now....
If you're reading this because you've a case coming up. Good luck (but probably best not to leave it to luck).

Mr Sunil was very helpful and managed my case very well. He guided us through a very complex legal maze and managed to minimize my points. We can’t thank Sunil enough

''I was accused of a domestic assault and obtained legal aid so that I could instruct criminal lawyers to defend me. A conviction would have meant that I would receive a criminal record as well as whatever punishment the court imposed. I am a man of good character. A criminal conviction was unthinkable to me. Unfortunately I found that the criminal solicitors were casual in the way in which they prepared my case. I was most concerned that I was not being properly represented. I decided to instruct other solicitors privately. In turn they instructed Sunil Rupasinha, a criminal barrister, to represent me in court. He attended a conference and advised me in advance of the case. Straightaway I felt that my case was in the hands of an expert. He also advised the solicitors on case preparation. At court he defended me. He was brilliant from start to finish. My acquittal was secured at the end of a keenly contested trial. Sunil outwitted the prosecutor and her witnesses at every stage. He even obtained a costs order in my favour. I am extremely grateful to him for his excellent advice and superb court room advocacy without which I could have been convicted. Speaking as someone who knows, don't take a chance, ask Sunil Rupasinha to represent you. Mahesh Jariwala ''

I cannot thank Sunil enough for his expertise and totally thorough preparation for my case, from logistics to post case discussion. This led to a much better result than would have otherwise been the case. For many people driving offences will be their only contact with police and the criminal legal process and I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having skilled and dedicated legal representation especially for your mitigation. Thank you again.

I have no hesitation in fully endorsing and recommending Mr Rupasinha. Attention to detail pre trial, intimate knowledge of law and a clarity and succinctness in the court room meant a successful outcome in a very very marginal situation. Thank you.

I wish to confirm that I was very happy with the level of Professional service and attention to detail Sunil offered me. He quickly understood the complex case and gave me good directions to handle my case.
Sadly we could not proceed in Court as the Court did not have three Judges. We had to adjourn.
Happy to refer Sunil to others.

Penalty Points Ban – Exceptional Hardship
An exceptional and professional service provided.
Sunil guided me through the court process and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.
Extremely thorough and I would highly recommend.

I can not thank Sunil enough. He is very honest and is very thorough with your case, he's expertise is worth the extra money, without him my whole livelihood would have fallen apart. However his skill and knowledge has allowed me to keep my license and I highly recommend him because without him I dont think I had a chance.

I consulted Kent Traffic Law as I faced a penalty points disqualification. I soon realised that I had done the right thing as without expert help and advice I would not have understood how to maximise my chances of saving my licence. The barrister at Kent Traffic Law was friendly and easy to talk to. Best of all, he is clearly an expert in his field.

I am very great full for the help I got with my case from Sunil He very quickly cut through to the bones of the case and advised me of my situation. I am sure the outcome would have been far worse if I had not instructed him.
I would always be happy to recommend him highly.

I had received a Notice of Intended Prosecution from the police stating that they were considering whether to prosecute me for damaging a parked car in an underground car park and then leaving without reporting the incident. I had been unaware of any collision and was most concerned at the implications of a prosecution.
The Notice stated that if I provided an account it would be taken into consideration in determining whether I should be prosecuted and, if so, what for. My family solicitors recommended that I engage an expert who specialised in this field and referred me to Kent Traffic Law.
I followed this advice and met with their barrister the very next day. He carefully crafted an account for me based on my instructions and his knowledge of police procedures and the law relating to the offences the police were considering. Within several weeks they wrote to me stating they would be taking the matter no further. I found the whole situation distressing and am grateful for the excellent advice and service which nipped the matter in the bud.
I hate to imagine how costly, protracted and stressful the whole affair could have been if it had not been nipped in the bud. I thoroughly recommend engaging Kent Traffic Law if you can.

Today I faced a very severe sentence for DD!! A one off but very stupid mistake made by myself and if it wasn’t for Mr Sunil pure knowledge and professionalism it really could have been a whole lot worse. I have a lot to thank this man for and couldn’t thank him more for what he did for me today. I didn’t want to sugarcoat the severity of what I was facing, but listen to what I had to say didn’t treat me like a criminal or a number. This man backed and fought my corner all the way for me. I Would strongly recommend this man for anyone facing the same situation that I did today.

I had a conversation with Sunil regarding a mobile phone offence and he was most helpful and honest with the options that were available to me and I was more than happy to use the advice he gave me.
Very professional and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him

Failure to provide a specimen
It is clear that Sunil has vast experience and knowledge to give the best advice possible to which I am so glad, he guided me through the whole process with a great success. Thank you very much indeed.

Had a great result using Sunil to represent me in a road traffic offence. I would never have received such a light sentence if I had attended Court on my own and I will be forever grateful.
R. J.
Mine was a motoring offence that my solicitor advised me I may lose my licence and referred me to Kent Traffic Law. Mr Rupasinha was brilliant, very calm, very patient and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him. And needless to say I was delighted with the outcome!

Dear Mr Rupasinha
Representation of my daughter for driving offence at Folkstone Magistrates Court
Having you handle the case for us made the whole process considerably less stressful that it would otherwise have been, and your wise council was proven correct at the hearing, with the best possible outcome being achieved.
I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone who finds themselves facing a motoring related court appearance in the future
Again thank you for all your help in this matter

I can't thank enough to Sunil for the professionalism, respect, decency and honesty conducting my case which without him would end up terribly. He gave me a realistic advice from the very first moment and also reassured me going the extra mile every step of the process.
Many thanks Sunil, you've made my Christmas.

Sunil is very professional & thorough. I was looking at a 6 month ban & with his help I managed to avoid it. He was recommended to me by another practice & I heartily recommend him to you.

Very pleased to have appointed Sunil Rupasinha as my barrister for my case. Gave expert legal advice regarding my motoring offence related case, which resulted in a very favourable outcome. Would highly recommend
L. K.
Mr Sunil Rupasinha represented my case and presented my defence over 20 minutes before a three Judge Bench and it was such a pleasure to hear him to present my defense logically, faithfully and succinctly and above all efficiently. He almost kept the Bench in rapt attention and tried to set up a new principle on " Special Circumstances" as to why the Accused should not be declared "guilty". He is excellent, helpful and easy to deal with. I will rate his analysis and assistance par excellent. I wish him all the very best.

Hi,
I was looking at 1 year ban and a big fine.
I was so impressed with the barrister in court and I left court without losing my license.
He was amazing throughout and I would recommend his services to anyone.

I will never regret asking Sunil to help me with a road traffic offence. The sentence received was the minimum possible. He was worth every penny.

Excellent result from Sunil - made no false promises took the lead at court and told them the way it was - however his approach was very professional and id have no hesitation to recommending him to friends and colleagues , very responsive came back to me the same day of enquiry agreed fees and of he went preparing the defence - although i got banned his summary enabled me to be at the bottom end of the mandatory scale and with a few mitigating circumstances the judge allowed me to take a course to knock 25% of my ban
SUNIL - we shall meet again im sure :)

Sunil Rupasinha is first class. His attention to detail is excellent
and he provides assistance in a very relaxed manner which is
very reassuring. I would certainly recommend him.

After only being a qualified driver for 18months I found myself in a unfortunate situation of facing a speeding penalty, which meant I will be given 6 points and my license revoked.I contacted Sunil due to research I did on the internet, to give myself the best possible chance of saving my license. He left no stone unturned, covered every angle and told me everything I needed to do for my case,He went through everything and put my mind at rest.On court day he came to the court went through everything step by step.whilst in court he gave a speech to the judge and to cut a long story short he saved my license, job and possibly house, I can’t thank him enough especially as the gentleman in court before me was on the same charge and lost his license, This was money well spent hiring Sunil excellent service and understanding, I would highly recommended him.
B. L.
the service was absolutely amazing, such a detailed and thorough approach to the case, took every detail he could too support me, went above and beyond what I expected, then on the day arrived early and supported me when I was nervous, knew exactly how to approach the situation and came across professional and the end result was fantastic, I would definitely had received a driving ban if my case wasn't presented in such a calm, professional and thorough way, thank you again
