As a young lady I was really worried about having the wool pulled over my eyes by solicitors. My experience with Express Solicitors was pleasant from start to finish. Unlike the other Solicitors I enquired with, ES was never pushy with me and I didn't have continuous phone calls from them trying to convince me to hire them. I spoke with ES and advised what I was looking for from Solicitors and what I wanted to achieve as compensation. Anna Wilde was my solicitor. I noticed on her email sign off she is only a trainee. If she is as good as she is now at a training level, I have every faith that Anna will go on to be very successful in her career. In regards to compensation, I was awarded triple the amount I expected. Anna kept me updated on everything, communication was really good. There was a period of time we was waiting for a medical professional to send in their report for my case and the delay was from the medical professionals side - Anna still emailed to keep me updated, she was still chasing and pushing for the report. Nothing was ever too much and if she had to explain something to me 3 times so that I understood, she would. A couple of times I responded to Anna, she was out of office and I couldn't believe it - even though she wasn't working, she still responded within a couple of hours. The pandemic definitely caused a massive delay in getting my claim resolved but unfortunately that was unavoidable. As much as my claim was dealt with professionally and quickly. I did have to give them a push with getting certain things done. Over all, very good service. The only downfall personally, would be the percentage and fees’ on top of the 25% taken off the money’s owed. I was told 10,000 originally for my claim. Then it got passed onto somebody else, who then said 8,500. Even though I was told I would receive a high amount considering the extent of not only physical but psychological damage too. Be aware of the 25%. Plus ATE insurance, which they took £850 off from me. Plus a fee of £30 to transfer my own money. This is the ONLY downfall. I did also get my payment late due to the other side not paying on time. So was told I would receive an 8% interest on my payment. Which I didn’t receive.

Been waiting almost 3 years to write this review... Had a pretty low value, no win fee claim. Alexander Langstone (my case handler) was extremely helpful and always kept me updated. I also spoke to several receptionists and secretarys. All very polite and very informative. I can not fault the customer service at all. I didn't get quite as much as I hoped for. And the ATE insurance took a large chunk from my compensation. Once my claim was up and running there was an online portal I could log in too and see every single update in real time. This was a huge plus and often I found all the information I needed there rather than call in for updates. All in all a fairly positive experience although dragged on for almost 3 years mainly due to opposition running round the houses. Would use again and would highly recommend! Even though the pandemic got in the way, my case(work accident) has been dealt with relatively quickly (under 12 months). Tracey Bennett and her team have been very helpful and talked me through every step of the way. All of the instructions were clear as well as frequent updates on my case. The only downside was the final figure, which did not match the provisional sum in the slightest. (For privacy reasons I will not disclose the actual sum recovered, but all medical and transfer fees are horrendously high for low-value cases). Nothing wrong with the company just the % of the claim they have to take is asking too much.

At the start they were very nice and quick to reply to any emails, but after a while of no communication I was constantly having to call or email to get updates. Of course they can't control how quick the 3rd party responds, but when they did respond I wasn't informed like I asked. My girlfriend was also accepted and we weren't told at the time she should have just gone to separate firm because of complications in her case - a waste of time. The £25+VAT bank transfer fee is really unwarranted but oh well. I did my research before accepting and their fees overall are standard for most firms, and clear at the start and they didn't try to hind any costs. After having my case handler changed about 5 times I ended up with a lovely Adele Greenough who got the whole thing wrapped up quickly and informed me of the details every step of the way so thank you very much!

Long awaited excellent service. A very special thanks to Shauna Fitzpatrick and Yvette Dowie who really stood out in my 4 and a half year case with them. Well, well, well......who’d have thought I’d have to wait 2 years to be able to write this testimonial but in spite of the wait it's nonetheless well deserved and I’m delighted to be able at long last to sing the praises of Express Solicitors!
