A week ago today Dave Foulkes represented me at trial with the best outcome we hoped for as the result. During the lead up to this day, Dave and his team at Belmores have been extremely professional and sensitive to the issue I was facing. They understood my anxiety and made sure I was prepared, with appointments that lasted as long as they needed, two being in that heat wave where England saw temperatures rise to 40 degrees. Well what can I say? I contacted Simon Nicholls 8 days before I was due to go to court, and that wasn’t a problem for him, I had a quick meeting at his office in Norwich and he went through all my info regarding a speeding offence. And got everything prepared. He was extremely professional all the way through and put mine and my families needs first! The day of court and I was warned by one of the members of staff that the people who would choose my fate were in a really bad mood and I would more than likely loose my license. Simon Nicholls, what a guy! I got caught at 118mph in a 70, and he managed to get me 6 points and a fine equivalent to 100% of my weekly take home pay. When I got caught I weighed up if I should just take a ban on the chin and learn from it, after doing a couple of insurance quotes I realised how much it was going to cost in the long run, and needed to try and limit that as much as possible. Simon was recommend by a friend, and was honest from the off that I didn’t have mitigating factors in my favour, I.E I worked from home, didn’t depend on my license for my job, no children, etc. But I did have a clean license and had done since passing my test 10 years ago. On the day, the unrepresented bloke before me got a 56 day ban, so I was shocked when after Simon’s speech I walked out with my license. Thanks again Simon, to anyone reading, don’t waste your time with anyone without proven results. I would recommend him to anyone, hopefully won’t be seeing you again soon though!

I recently enjoyed a work experience placement with Belmores of which I could not fault at all. It was initially meant be three days long however it was extended it to four to ensure that i could spectate a particularly interesting case in the magistrates. When the day finally arrived, I was instructed a subistute barrister because my original was half way through a case. Now this guy is very good!
