I highly recommend Stephanie and her FLC team! I was losing hope when I found Stephanie and her wonderful team. My ex husband was preventing me from taking my daughter to visit my family abroad less than 3 weeks before my flights. He was threatening to take me to court on the unfounded grounds of child abduction with no evidence. I was receiving lots of letters from his solicitor causing me a lot of anxiety. I had already contacted a few legal firms but I repeatedly experienced little empathy and the staff did not seek to understand the situation. She was like an investigator and because of that Stephanie also was able to identify the original child arrangements where written poorly. This had caused so much anguish for over three years. Thanks to Stephanie and her team, from now on, every other year I will be able to spend Christmas or New Year with my beautiful daughter. As for the past four years this was denied to me by my ex husband who interpreted the Child Arrangements to his benefit. Stephanie was there to fight my corner and ensure true justice prevailed. During court proceedings, Stephanie and my barrister Ms Helen Prinn, held my hand, informing me at every stage of the procedures and constantly reassured me. Because of their exemplary representation, my ex-husband has been ordered by the court to reimburse my costs for unreasonable taking me to court in child procedures. Words cannot express how thankful I am for their representation and moral support. I went to see Stephanie Walmsley late last year in respect of an application to vary my financial order made by my ex-husband. It was an incredibly worrying time for me; the stress of court proceedings; financial worries, which were heightened by the cessation of my maintenance coupled with the worry of how I was to pay my legal bills; the upset that 4 years after a financial settlement had been reached, I was being put through all this stress again. At times I felt like I couldn’t cope, but Stephanie was the rock which I needed. Stephanie and her team at FLC, supported me through this hard time. The advice I received was carefully thought out with my circumstances in mind. The advice was tailored, with Stephanie taking time to understand the history of my case and the personalities involved. Stephanie and her team made me feel like I was their only client, always giving me time to talk through my concerns and never making me feel like I had a silly question. At times, Stephanie felt like a close friend and a counsellor, whilst maintaining an incredibly professional manner, demonstrating her expertise in family law. While I saw her in respect to finances, there was cross over at times to the children and contact arrangements, and the advice given has (hopefully) negated any need for further court proceedings. Without the advice given, it is highly likely we would be back in court for a further 6-8 months, incurring more costs, stress and upset. Stephanie took time with me. Her advice was never rushed and when I received her invoices I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they were. No one wants to incur costs by instructing a solicitor. No one wants the stress and upset of having to issue or respond to a court application. However, sometimes it happens and when it does, and you are feeling every emotion under the sun, you need proper, sound advice, from someone you trust! I would always recommend Stephanie and FLC and while I hope to never have to use her services again, if I need to I know where she is! Thank you Stephanie and FLC.

I came to Robin about a very delicate family matter . Robin was extrimly understanding and the case started . Robin was sypathic and understanding , there was one occasion when reading my sons statement that he became a little emotional which told a real meaning to me as compassion. Yes Robin tells me about the bill but he has a business to run after all and may I just say he has been very understanding about our Financial situation ! Most solicitors would had not cared .
