Like many couples we were worried about getting our wills and Powers of Attorney sorted. It all seemed so complicated. We met Morgan and she immediately put us at ease and methodically worked through the complexity and detail and to explain the implications of each decision. In the end all was needed was two relatively short meetings to get it all sorted and signed. The price for doing two wills, the change in Title of our house and four Power of Attorneys was much less than quotes from solicitors. I would not hesitate to recommend Portcullis Legals to anyone worrying about getting their Will etc sorted. We needed to update our Will and Portcullis Legals came highly recommended. As soon as we walked in the door we were dealt with, in a very professional and friendly manner. We explained the type of Will we required and we were taken through the stages step by step and every item was double checked and explained, to make sure that this was the type of Will we required. A draft copy was sent for us to look at and any alterations that were required, we could highlight. We went into the office today and there was a lot of forms to sign. Having waited far too long to organise our wills, my husband and I met with Portcullis Legals to start, what we thought, would be a long winded, full of legal jargon, process. How wrong we were! Certainly we had to answer lots of questions and needed certain aspects explained to us (in non legal jargon!), as well as explain our personal wishes, but this was the hardest the process got! It was so simple and we had the draft copies in our in-box a few days later for us to review. Once these had been agreed, we then went into the branch (out of our normal working hours - another nice touch from a business that prides itself on being different to the run of the mill legal profession), for the documents to be witnessed; and that was it!
