I recently used the services of Dezrezlegal to sell a house that had been inherited. I can honestly say that the service they gave was superb from start to finish. The company use an online portal through which you can communicate with the legal team if you wish. However, I would usually email and would get a quick response from the team to any questions I raised. They were professional and very responsive in their communications with me both through the portal and directly by phone . Dezrez were referred to me and I could not be happier with their service in handling both the sale of my property and the purchase of our new residence. These transactions were managed during the Covid lockdown and in particular, just ahead of the removal of the stamp duty concessions at the end of Jun-21. I would like to call out Kate Packer who was tremendous in the way she managed things in a professional manner. I am not planning another home move, but if I was I would not hesitate to instruct Dezrez to handle the conveyancing - highly recommended.

Not a good quality, but good value. They have completed my selling and purchase at the same time.(Quite fast comparing to other unknown legal companies for sure) My buyer were cash buyer so it was quite straightforward, but chain with purchase side, which took more time. The team have completed just on time but was very stressful. It was not easy to get hold of them on the phone, it will at least take 3 working days for them to pick up e-mail, and DIFFICULT to get through with them via phone. (You can only speak to paralegal or associate, not the lead solicitor) And they have done nothing until about 1 month even after engagement letter was signed, where ideally they had to start local searches straightway, but they had have not done anything. And came back to us saying after a month time, that we need to pay for local searches fee. They should have informed us earlier. Overall, we are now happy that they just completed on time at 30th June, but regrettably I must say that I do not want to go through the same experiences ever again.

I used Dezrezlegal when selling my house, they were recommended by the agents when my house first went under offer. I was a little sceptical but went with it. I found the forms quite convenient to download, and relatively simple to complete, scan and upload again as the portal was quite easy to use (although I can imagine it being quite daunting if you're not used to working with computers). The people were always friendly to deal with and I never failed to get through to someone who could handle my enquiry which was a major concern at the beginning. My first sale fell through, and although I sold a second time, through a different agent, I continued to use Dezrez as I felt they had already done most of the work and had my documents ready. This was the correct decision as my successful second sale sailed through from our end, where other more conventional conveyancers down the chain failed I might add. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for one failing. On two occasions I was chased up to provide documents which were already uploaded and submitted to the portal days before. This was annoying and I provided them with constructive criticism, which to my surprise was well received. I would suggest that you e-mail a copy of the document to your contact in addition to uploading onto the portal to eliminate the chances of this happening to you. All in all though it was a very pain free and for the most part efficient service. I will use them again as I feel they are very reasonably priced and efficient. They are a perfect solution if you have a general understanding of buying/selling your house and a better than basic tech savvy ( i.e. understand the difference between upload and download).

Great persistent solicitors. Sometimes alot of solicitor Jargon which is difficult to understand but they always answer the phone and explain in further detail when asked. Not very good at calling back or use of the portal, however they answer the phone at least! Unfortunately my house fell through, but I have decided to use Dezrez again. Would recommend! :)
